Very nice hotel, with particularly spacious rooms at a good rate. However, constant door key problems (didn't open door, causing elevator ride and re-keying several times and staff issues (only one towel in room, staff outside smoking at the entrance, etc.) detracted a bit from our evaluation.

The movie (pay on demand) was out and much needed as a last activity to help kids relax and fall asleep to. Saturday morning the pool was being cleaned with Chemicals (I mean really this could've been done either at night when it was closed or early in morning!) The keys to our room kept becoming deactivated so it was another trip to the lobby. For […] the price I shouldn't argue. It overall is a nice hotel. I just don't think I'd go there again. 더 보기

Hotel was nice but hard to get to even though it is right off the highway. We needed to use the pull out coach for a bed and the mattess was awful.

I loved the room! There was a bedroom, bathroom, mini kitchen (sink, microwave and frig) and living room. I did not feel cramped. There were tv's in the bedroom and living room. The whirlpool and swimming pool felt fabulous! The hotel was pretty quiet during my stay. The grounds were well kept and the lobby was beautiful. My only wish was that they […] offered complimentary breakfast, or at least continental breakfast. There was a breakfast buffet offered for $14, but it didn't looking like much of a selection was given. I just felt like the food was a little expensive at the hotel and in its restaurant. I ordered wings for $12, and I was given 5 wings with lots of celery and carrots. So if you're looking to save money and get full you can always go to a nearby grocery store and buy a few items for your room frig (like I did). Overall, I loved this hotel, and I would love staying here again! Oh yeah, make sure you've been charged properly on your credit/debit card. A mistake was made. I was charged $144 when I had only made a $16 room service purchase. To their credit they discovered their mistake and had credited the money back to me before I'd called them. 더 보기

This is a great hotel for the facilities - the pool, hot tub and fitness center were very well maintained and functioning. My suite was very comfortable, clean and quiet despite the hotel's location near the highway - I didn't hear any traffic at all. My only not so positive comment is that the breakfast is too expensive: $15 for buffet and $10 for […] continental is pretty steep. Otherwise, I highly recommend. 더 보기

Fantastic experience. Hotel was very clean and the staff were very pleasant and accomodating. The food was very good. We were shuttled to the local train station so it was very easy and economical to get to downtown Chicago with no parking hassles. We had a great time and hope to return again in the near future.

Great for a business traveler. Good bar downstairs, good breakfast and quiet. Stayed for 2 weeks. Good deal and convenient hotel. .

The room was cold and the heat and tv didn't work. We had to be moved to another room.

Thanks to hotel.com we were able to spend Christmas near our children and grandchildren, at a very reasonable price. The rooms were very clean as well as the reat of the hotel. Any request we had was fulfilled in a timely manner.

Checking in process was a little slow - otherwise the hotel was good

We were recent guest of this Hotel (which we have been since it was owned by the DoubleTree group). While we realize maintenance costs have risen in the past few years due to economic conditions...we were appalled to discover all heat had been turned off in our suite upon entrance.As it was approx.10degrees outside, it took the room 45+mins.to reach […] a comfort level. We never had this concern when it was d/b/a DoubleTree .Suggesting a complimentary future stay should be offered as compensation, we were once again disappointed. FYI: Although "Room Service" is advertised as available until 11:00pm, the service tended to close early (without notice) if the restaurant business was slow. We requested Room Service on a Friday night at 9:45pm, only to be advised that the staff had been released. There are no other restaurants on site or close by.

This hotel is definitely a good looking hotel in disguise...the pics that are on Hotels.com website do not do it justice. The staff was nice and attentive. The only gripe i have is the doors to enter the suites...I do not like the look of them but overall I highly recommend this hotel for visitors as it is not that far from the expressway or for a nice […] quick getaway. 더 보기

Very nice room for the money. Wasn't at hotel much so I didn't use facilities available. Bedroom was very quiet. Nice storage. If you are looking for perfectly new conditions you may be disappointed - some cigarette burns, grout not perfect etc. but nothing a normal person can not overlook. This hotel is fine. Everything is basic. Relatively close to the highway which is good. Cleanliness is standard. The amenities in the guestroom were very outdated. Cheap iron, ironing board, hairdryer. Had to ask for more towels because they basically give you 1 set when we had 2 people staying there. The decor and furniture is very outdated. There […] was a tube TV in the bedroom. I was amazed it was working. The staff is friendly enough and accommodating. For the price, it was fine. If you need just a place to sleep, then it will work. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. The surroundings are either nonexistent or (a little bit further) consist of a rather depressed neighborhood with a low key populace. The rooms are vey clean and are kept in a good shape. (Although he floor plan is one of a standard rather but not very comfortable suites). Ditto for the cleanness and appearance […] of the hotel. Otherwise the service is poor. The management does not run a "tight ship". At the reception they can mix up the rooms and send to an already occupied room (although quickly corrected). When ordering a room service it takes a rather long time to get it. The shuttle even advertised on their site, most of the time is unavailable (3 out of 4 for me. The only time it was available, when I reserved it a day in advance). In short is is an OK hotel for the price if you come with your own car and do not want to use their eating facilities. This was a good hotel. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, everything in good condition. Its location was good for my requirements. Can't ask for much more!

Our family used this as a base for a four day exploration of Chicago. We drove straight down Milwaukee avenue, parked the car, and hopped a Blue line train to downtown where we explored to our heart's content before taking the train back to Glenview. Great Rooms, Fitness Area, Spa.

First room was horrible. Heat/AC had a sharpee written for C/H and thermostat settings. Really? Wall near window was half way painted. Heater didn't work well. Coffee cups were already used!! Second room was much better after we switched. No complaints there, but the first room was unexcusable.

This was a Double Tree and the furnishings remain the same, yet the rates went up. I was expecting something a bit nicer and was surprised to find no changes to speak of.

Some minor annoyance problems; 1) TV remote not working, 2) Room phone not working. Both issues resolved.

We keep coming back to the Glenview Wyndham. It really needs some updating/spruceups; it feels a bit '80s. BUT... the layout is so comfy, with separate bedrroom/sitting room, each with tis own TV. There are some fantastic restaurants just down the street (Milwaukee)... Jolanes, The Pita Inn, Periyali (sp? great Greek food). Very relaxing...

We stay in Glenview often and this first stay @ the Wyndham Glenview Suites is a most pleasant surprise. Clean, updated suites that overlook an indoor multi story Arboretum where breakfast is served in the morning. It was quite and the staff was very courteous and friendly. I am looking forward to our next stay.

hote was accessible to highways and staff provided accurate directions to our destinations. Housekeeping left a little to be desired. One day dirty towels were left on the bathroom floor and we asked for washcloths since we only had one in the bathroom, and they never arrived. what a surpise.....unexpected travel plans brought me to noth chicago land.....got the room for a great price and wow what a nice room....great value,,,,,great service absolutely wonderful

Like the location of this hotel being downtown chicago was a new experiance. BUT!! having to pay for absolutely everything was a downer!! no free parking! and we had 3 people in our room that needed the internet for verious reasons (online classes) and paying $10.98 a day x's 3 was absolutely rediculous (besides the .35 a minute for use of the computer […] rooms computers) !!! the pool was small but they did have towels!! this hotel was not family friendly!!! you have to use your room key to make the elevator go up & down. well my room card(key) didn't work so I was stuck in the elevator for 15 mins. I went up and down 3 x's!! finally stop on the main floor & got a new key!! Buissness trip people would most likely enjoy this hotel. would not recomend. :( 더 보기

We had never been to Chicago and were nervous about the hotels in that area being as you never know in larger cities...... This will be the only hotel we will ever stay at in the Chicago area!

Only one person at the desk for check-in, phone and guest assistance. A conference was underway, so the hotel was nearly full and the desk was busy. Suite upgrade was nice, but no bedding for the pull-out couch and not enough towels & washcloths. Took the housekeeping staff 90 minutes to respond. The karaoke bar noise echoes throught the interior atrium […] which is open space to all floors. Thank goodness, it wasn't audible in our suite. This hotel was loud at all hours of night and fire alarms went of not once, but twice at the optimal time of 3am. I will never be staying here again.

Our power went out so we used one of our free nights toward this last minute deal room and got an incredible price. The indoor pool was great and the room was awesome - large with a very nice interior. We have stayed in this hotel once before and had a great experience. So when our home flooded due to heavy storms in the area, we went there to have a place close to our home that was safe to stay in. Once again, we were extremely pleased. The staff was very friendly and understanding, the room was clean, shower was great, and the beds were wonderful […] and a great comfort after such an ordeal. Also, really enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the atrium. Food was fresh and delicious. And love the outdoor cafe feel of it. 더 보기
