Overall, the hotel was fine. The only problem was with the internet. They have free internet downstairs, but 15 pounds per day for rest of the hotel. The only issue is that the internet was not real reliable. It did not seem worth paying for with the reliability issues.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and we have stayed there before so knew what to expect. The only down side ( if it cacn be called a downside ) is the distance from the tube station to the hotel - a bit of a walk if the weather is not good.

Apart from the fact that SKY was not working, and clearly had not been for some time, we enjoyed our stay at the Kensington Hilton. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was rather small but clean and acceptable.

This hotel was ok if you are staying in that area, but with no Underground station close by it made it difficult to get around. Also their wifi was bad

Was pleased we paid to have breakfast included in room rate. Full buffet breakfast was good value. Disappointed no fridge in room; mini bar was locked with no room to add own drinks etc. otherwise room was very comfortable and conveniently located on Kensington High Street

I stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend as we were going to the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court which is nearby. On arrival, we were quite pleased as we had a warm welcome from the lady on the desk. She answered all our questions about the tube and suurounding area. We also, for some reason got a complimentary upgrade to a King room, but when we […] got to our room we were surprised at how shabby it was. There were marks on the wall, old smoke alarms (at least 3) semi-removed which looked quite unsightly. I might sound fussy but really, i have stayed in Budget hotels that are in better condition. We had a 'balcony' which we could not open so had no real ventilation - the aircon didnt help Overall, we expected much more from this hotel, especially as it was Kensington! We booked the Hilton for an anniversary getaway. Expected a lot from the Hilton but it failed to deliver. Check in was fast and staff were polite but thats where the good points end. We were asked if we wanted a wake up call for the morning and kindly declined due to it being a romantic getaway and not a business trip. Little did we know that we would […] end up having 3. At 5am we were both awoken by the sound of showers in other rooms. At 7.30am our bedside radio turned on at full volume and woke us up. At 9am the phone rang and reception told us our alarm was going off, asked if we were okay and then hang up. By then the huge building works opposite had started so there was no hope of getting back to sleep. After deciding to remain awake we opted out of the expensive breakfast at the hotel. I walked down to the local supermarket and paid for some breakfast pastries while my girlfriend made tea and coffee using the rooms provided services. My girlfriend decided to have a bath while I was out and as she was about to get in there was a nock on the door and a man asked to come in without giving a reason. She said could he wait a minute and he had already unlocked the door which luckily was on the bolt. This also happened later on with the maid after we had said no thanks. I came back to a coffee filled with floating lumps of milk in it. The little milk cartons had gone off and lumpy. I had noticed on my way up that the room service cleaners had left their trolley with the tea bags/coffee/milk/sugar etc out in the hallway. So I took a couple of new milks and went back and made a fresh coffee. I opened up the *new* milk and there it was again, lumpy and gone off. And they were putting this in new rooms? I gave up on the coffee and we checked out ASAP. Was not impressed and wouldn't go back to a Hilton hotel. Had better service at a cheap TravelLodge last year. 더 보기

We really enjoyed our stay here. Convenient to tube station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Comfortable, clean and centrally located. Only issue: the first night we had a room with a very low ceiling in the bathroom so my husband could not stand in the shower. Room 404 is not for people taller than 1.75m! The next morning they changed our room with no comments. Other than that, very good value.

When an exhibition begins at 9 am, it is impractical to reach London in time from the West Country. I was unaware that single beds still existed in hotels of this standard but I managed not to fall out by curling my toes round each edge.

i had bad experience when i found out that they hv charged me with a bill of a restaurant in the hotel which i never seen or been there. instead of my signature which they got on my checking in my name was put on the restaurant bill and no one paid attention to compare the signature. when i found this ugly fraud i requested the reception officer to […] call hotel manager on duty who fully understood my fair case after checking the douments and reimpurse the amount (21 pounds). Stayed at the Hilton Olympia during a two-day Expo at Earls' Court. It was a convenient 15 minute walk from there and the tube station across the road. Room was overlooking Kensington Rd, and there was a lot of traffic noise, as though the window was open, but wasn't. My colleague staying on the floor above reported the same. Room was fine, nothing […] special, wouldn't say it was any better than your average chain hotel. Bed was very hard but comfy enough. Took an eternity to get any hot water, especially in a morning. Breakfast was good enough, serving staff very pleasant, but again, food was comparable with other hotels such as Premier Inn. Had to ask three times on second morning for coffee, and to the same person who'd originally seated me and asked "tea or coffee sir?". If you want a hotel close to Earls Court and a reasonable price, this will fit the bill, but don't expect anything more than average. 더 보기

Hilton Olympia is a good hotel a bit off if you are a tourist but with higher standard than other hotels. Good bus transportation to Kensington High street and Marble Arch as well as to Westfield Shopping mall just outside the hotel. Excellent english breakfast.

The rooms are small and overpriced. In other words, it is just like most other hotels in London. However, beware the outrageous £14.95 per day fee for wi-fi. Cheaper hotelsoften offer wi-fi free of charge. One wonders why a Hilton hotel cannot do the same. I bought an "air card" at a local cell phone store in London and used that instead of the hotel's […] wi-fi. For anyone staying 5 days or more, the wireless air card is much cheaper and it worked well during my recent stay. Don't pay outrageous wi-fi fees! There are better and cheaper solutions. 더 보기

Twin room for a weekend in London with friends. Room was a little cramped but fine overall.

Reception was very informative.Room was found to be clean and presentable.Hotel is well positioned fpr the west end,Natural History,and V&A Museums. Bus routes and tube station in walking distance. Would use hotel in the future.

This was an extremely enjoyable hotel to stay in the service was impeccable, the view was nice and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Overall I would recommend.

Good hotel in general. As I had a reduced hotel rate, I was put in the cheap room. 7th floor next to the air con. Old tv/entertainment system. Room could do with updating. Overall staff very good, hotel rooms and corridors in need of an update.

overall a pleasant stay

Very basic hotel to be under the wing of 'Hilton' squashed corridors, squashed rooms, never did find the restaurant or bar (if there actually was one) room was compact, which was ok, but it was also freezing, we kept air con turned up but it seemed to just blow out barely warm air, we had to wear jumpers and socks as well as our PJ's. overall next time […] I visit London, I will definitely be trying another hotel :( 더 보기

This was a last-minute booking. We arrived at the hotel at 11am expecting to leave the bags and were pleased to be told that not only was our room ready for us but also that we were to be upgraded to a better room. Our room was of a good size, on the 5th floor overlooking a pleasant side-street. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and well-furnished […] with good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Perfect place for working at exhibiton at Olympia.

Excellent hotel . Great location for shops and theatre.would recommend a stay

During our 4 day stay the reception area of the hotel was being refurbished. The hotel kindly upgraded our room for the inconvenience caused. The room was excellent with all relevant facilities,but due to the ongoing refurbishments everybody had to use the lift to get to the ground floor from all the above floors as there were no stairs from the 1st […] floor down to the ground floor. This caused a slight panic and confusion when a fire alarm activated and people were unable to get to the ground floor quickly. Exit was made by using the outside fire escape but upon reaching the ground floor outside the building no further exit could be made as the area was contained by closed high gates where access out was difficult. Luckily the fire alarm was not a genuine fire. Apart from that a pleasant stay at the hotel,kind friendly staff, and in a good location for other amenities. Having stayed at the Hilton Olympia for the past 15 years (for convenience to the exhibition centre), I was extremely frustrated to arrive with my party of clients booked into rooms to find that the hotel had not communicated with us regarding the ongoing major renovations of the public areas. From the outside the hotel looked like a building site. […] The temporary reception area was small and dark and even when checking in the staff did not tell me that the bar and restaurant areas had been reduced to 'the basics' to say the least. Our initial allotted rooms were small and pokey for two, considering we were staying for three nights overall. We were offered alternative rooms the following day but, as anyone knows, it's always irritating not to be able to unpack properly because you know you're on the move again. I am not complaining about the renovation itself, it is long overdue and welcome. What I am complaining about is that I didn't know until arrival that it was ongoing. As I write this there is STILL nothing on the Hilton website to warn guests - quite the opposite, they 'welcome people to the Plum Grill for a romantic 'tete a tete' in this naturally lit restaurant in the Hilton's elegant eatery. Or perhaps to 'catch a cocktail in this trendy London bar'. The facilities in fact consist of a poor quality banqueting room (peeling wallpaper, mismatch of carpets, dated fixtures and a jumble of furniture from around the hotel). The bar is no more than a 'hatch' like you'd find in a village hall, with open kitchen unit carcases on the wall for temporary storage. The 'restaurant' is a selection of banqueting tables and chairs scattered in between the mishmosh of furniture, televisions blaring on side tables and staff who look like rabbits stuck in the headlights of an oncoming juggernaught - no doubt worn out by the complaints of guests (and believe me there were many complaints). Due to the renovations being undertaking at this hotel at the present time, the ambience left a lot to be desired. The decore was rather dark and depressing and the room we had was obviously listed for refurbishment I would hope. We had booked for 4 nights and prior to arrival increased it to 5 nights all prepaid. On the 5th day when we returned to […] the room we had been locked out with a not poking out under the door telling us to pay our account before we would be given access to the room and our belongings. NOT HAPPY. At reception again told that I should pay the account only when I showed the copy of the email confirming booking and payment did I then get told "no one had checked they had been too busy. You know with the renovations etc." not a very pleasant experience. Would be very hesitant to return to This hotel again. 더 보기

We only stayed there fore 1 night & got it cheap because we booked it early through Hotels.com. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from either Barons Court or Earls Court tube station. There is a the Olympia tube station near by but it has a limited service so it was worth walking the extra to the other stations. The hotel is under a major renovation so some […] of it is a building site but they put us on the top floor so we weren't affected by any noise but the builders etc were a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was delicious & the bed was lovely so I recommend this hotel! 더 보기

Hotel not at its best as it was being refurbished at the time of our stay. Bar facilites were poor and there were no slippers or bath robes in any of our rooms as promised in the guest pack. It would have been nice to have a reception area to sit in and ehjoy a drink or a coffee.

The hotel was doing renovations in the lobby when we were there so some facilities were not up to scratch. The rooms and hall ways are older but clean. We had a standard room which was a bit small in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in in the UK. However the hotel was okay.. not great.

Close to main Transport linking the rest of London with the Hotel. 5 star breakfast with friendly staff throughout. Hotel being refurbished but no inconveience to guest. Can not wait to go back.

An impressive businessman's hotel a few minutes by bus from the heart of Kensington. Great bar, good English buffet breakfast and very helpful staff - however single room means single bed - not good enough! Internet usage too expensive and no wifi in the rooms. Fantastic for quick exit to London Heathrow - jump on bus to the tube; no tube station easy […] walk nearby! 더 보기
