Love the layout of room and lobby @ 12fl is so cool. All the staffs are v friendly. If my husband and I visit chicago again. We will stay here again. At same time I can get cash back from my website.

The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. We were able to obtain VIP tickets to various events and did not have to stand in the rain to gain enterance. Our breakfasts in the hotel restaurant were excellent.

An excellent hotel that has the best location. The staff, the amentities, the restaurant, all is so nice. A must stay when visiting Chicago!

Could not ask for a better place to be. It was close to all we wanted to see. Clean, good service with an extra effort to help. Would love to stay again!

From the moment we pulled up, the bellman were fantastic. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful. They upgraded our room, which was a welcome surprise. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Truly enjoyed this entire experience. Service was excellent as was the room comfort. Could not find fault with anything. Special attention was paid to our children. Take advantage of concierge service for tickets We will always stay at the Ritz when in Chicago.

The hotel was fabulous. It was our anniversary and they sent complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room. They don't miss a beat!! Outstanding sevice. Would love to stay here again!!!

Can't wait to go back! My daughters and I are already planning our next trip to The Ritz-Carlton in Chicago.

I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for 3 nights from April 6-9. Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. Shopping is right next door and sight-seeing is nearby. Bus service is outside the building. I would love to stay again.

Front desk and bell staff were extremely helpful and freindly. Combined with the high quality of the rooms and furnishings, our hotel was the bomb1 One of te best hotel experiences ever.

Even though it is in the absolute epicenter of Michigan ave and walking distance to everything, the hotel is a quiet Oasis. Highly recommend! Wonderful service and staff.

Not better money and time vaule then the ritz.

We were very pleased with the Ritz-Carlton. Our room was ready early, and we were given a significant upgrade to a luxurious room with a splendid view ot the Chicago skyline. The Ritz-Carlton Chicago was clean, friendly and conveniently located.

We really like what they've done redecorating the rooms. Comfortable, attractive and nicely appointed. A real pleasure during the non-business hours. Also like what they've done with the lounge in the main lobby. As nice a place to have a cocktail as any around.

To go along with the terrific location - right on Michigan Avenue - our room overlooked the lake and was absolutely magnificent. From the view of the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel - to the Fireworks at Soldier Field (that we saw thru our windows) - it was well worth the price. The Ritz Carlton is close to everything you want to see especially if you are there for just a weekend. Michigan Avenue is 1/2 block away. The Navy Pier is within view and just a short walk. The views are fantastic and if you want more the Hancock Building's Signature Room is just down the street. I have stayed in the Ritz Carlton elsewhere and I was a little disappointed with Chicago for a 5 star hotel. The room was comfortable but was dated and bland. The spa area was nice and the changing rooms were impressive. Staff were very friendly but overall it was a bland experience. Ultra-Nice Hotel with a price to match. All aspects of our stay were perfect. We ended up doing room service, which was absolutely first class. We were treated like royalty. Only negative was the expensive and burdensome parking options.

First, let me say, the hotel management was very responsive to our problems . . . but that doesn't excuse the fact that they happened. Our upgrades suite was great, except that one of the toilets became clogged [quickly fixed], there was mold in the shower stall, paint was pealing from the drawer in one bathroom, the bathroom floors were dirty . . . […] in the corners where it is, admittedly difficult to clean, but this is The Ritz! The AC system rattled horribly at the most inconvenient times (6:00 a.m.?), a TV remote needed batteries. And, they lost the cookies our two boys made in the Ritz Carlton kitchen with the pastry chef (Chef Paul was great) because they delivered them to the wrong room. It took 6 hours for housekeeping to deliver the promised "kiddie" bathrobes. The "treat" that was delivered for the boys at 5:00 p.m. was high octane chocolate, gummy bears, and a sugary fruit drink. They were so amped, they couldn't sleep. (Chocolate Chip cookies and milk or fruit would have been a more appropriate treat . . . as it was the next night after this was brought to management's attention.) If all this sounds like minor, remember that this is the Ritz Carlton . . . part of the Four Seasons family. Perfection is expected (as we have known at prior visits at Ritz Carlton properties). Management was VERY attentive to our complaints, and have "made things right." However, be aware that things can go "wrong" anywhere you stay . . . even at the lofty Ritz! Would we return? You bet! We chose this hotel because we were able to book a babysitter through the concierge in advance. Thoughtful touches were provided by the hotel, and we did not have one minute of worry about our toddler during the 41/2 hour meal at Alinea.

This is a lovely hotel and I highly recommend it. The staff was friendly, the hotel is beautiful but not over-done, and the accommodations were decadent and so comfortable. Our room was beautiful, overlooking the lake and the John Hancock building. We will definitely stay again. Five stars!!

this hotel is amazing... the staff was very nice.. and the hotel is right off of michigan ave, and accriss the street from the cheesecake factory... the room was very spacious and clean. and the pool and spa area was also very nice for the kids. OVERALL VERY VERY GOOD...

Room was not ready at 3:00 pm check-in. Front desk took cell number to advise when room was ready, but never called. Room was clean, but features are becoming dated at this price point.

Great location, rooms with nice view. Service was nice. Pool wasn't open at night to enjoy. Not really a big fan of the room ammenities. There was no fridge/microwave. They didn't really cater to our needs - just what they are programmed to do. Parking is crazy expensive! I wouldn't stay here again, not worth the price.

Great spot. Extremely good service. It is a little dated but is going to be renovated soon. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving and the following day here in order to relax and get away from the daily grind for a while. Everything was just terrific. The staff were wonderful, the spa was amazing, the food was delicious. No complaints. If I can get into this hotel again for the price I paid, I would do it.
