Hotel Monteleone was great, loved the carousel bar and the old-fashioned feel. Get a pims fizz from the bar. Great location, close to everything.

We had excellent maid service in our room both days - above and beyond other places that I've stayed. My only issue was that a bottle of champagne that was pre-ordered as a surprise by my family was never sent to our room, but the hotel staff ensured that they did not pay for the service.

The hotel was fantastic - but room service was awful. Next time - we'll stay there again, but get take out dessert instead of ordering in the hotel!

I had requested a premium dbl rm in quiet location. The first night we were in a 12th fl rm near the elevator & it was noisy with people getting off the elevator. We requested move to quieter rm & although the rm wasn't quite as nice, it was indeed quiet. Otherwise, hotel is lovely.

Hotel monteleone is a beautiful French quarter hotel with many amenities. The only caveat is that it is loud, not only from outside but from room doors slamming and noise from neighboring guests. You don't get great sleep.

I booked through hotels.com and was told there would be a $25 fee per night for a pet. When I got there, I was told there was the $25 fee plus an additional $100 fee (on top of what I already paid to through hotels.com). I don't think it's hotels.com's fault - this fee isn't anywhere on the Hotel Monteleone website, they just spring it on you when you […] get there. The hotel itself is nice enough but the rooms are unbelievably small and old with only the bare ammenities - not worth the cost. I've stayed in New Orleans many times and there are far better places in the french quarter for a much more reasonable price. I will not be staying there again. 더 보기

My son and I checked out of another hotel during our visit for the Final Four. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. Checked in to the Hotel Monteleone and my faith in humanity was restored. How this hotel can be so close to all the action and remain peaceful and serene is beyond me. Thanks to your beds, my back also thanks you!

Wonderful hotel in an awesome location. So close to Bourbon and a pleasant walk away from Harrah's and the Riverwalk area. Room was slighly small, but overall great experience.

I HAD TO LEAN TO THE RIGHT WHILE USING THE TOILET OR MY SHOULDER WOULD HIT THE SINK. The hallway wallpaper was coming apart in many areas. The housekeeping supervisor should have a checklist for public areas as well as the guest rooms to give to maintenance for repairs. If they already have one, they are not using it or there is no followup.

Hotel was sold out the previous night (not unusual) so our room wasn't ready until around 3. Don't count on an early check-in. They will store your luggage but they don't have a convenience room to change or freshen up. The bellmen were substandard. I had to walk back out to the parking garage to show the first bellman where the valet left our bags. […] By the time I went back to show him where the bags were, I could have just brought the bags to the lobby myself. The second bellman for check-out treated us with feline indifference. We had to go back and identify our bags for him. The lobby and carousel lounge are lovely but the rooms are small and non-descript. SLOW video on demand. LOUD hotel with paper thin walls. Good location in the quarter, within walking distance to everything. One major plus is that they have 2 garages so they can accommodate even over sized vehicles (at $30+/day). Concierges were very helpful, particularly on such a busy weekend. 더 보기

Our group had two rooms. The room with two double beds was very spacious and the bathroom was spacious. The room with the king had a very small bathroom.

Close enough to walk to everything but not so close that it's loud and dirty on the street.. And the carousel bar is so cool! Would definitely stay here again!

Couldnt get in the Carousel Bar both days we were there. The toilet wouldnt flush & it took them 6 hrs to come & fix it. They actually lost track of our luggage between the parking garage & the lobby. Would not recommend ...............Not worth the $$$$...OverRated!!!

A nice hotel. One rude concierge. Very helpful staff otherwise....the cheapest ironing board I have ever seen in any hotel.... they must have bought the damaged ones from Dollar General ! Rooms are small..... even the preferred rooms. Convenient location.... This hotel is in a great location. The room was TINY. This is not a hotel for families. It is too tight. The carpets are ancient and stained. The bathroom needs to be updated. I don't know that you can beat the location but if we were going to New Orleans again, I would look for a better fit for our family.

We stayed at Hotel Monteleone for 4 nights during Mardi Gras. It is the ideal location central to everything that is New Orleans! We stayed on Bourbon Street previously and had fun, but found that the party never ended and we couldn't get any sleep. Hotel Monteleone is one street away from Bourbon and we didn't hear any street noise. Rooms were clean […] and as busy as it was during Mardi Gras the service was fantastic. We will definitely head to the Monteleone on our next visit to New Orleans. 더 보기

I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. It is in a great location on Royal Street in the French Quarter where you can walk to many of the sites-we walked to Jackson Square and the Aquarium and Riverwalk weren't too far. The accomodations were very comfortable and felt grand in an old world French way. The carousel bar is fun to hang out at. We […] did not have the breakfast buffet. All the staff that we came in contact with were helpful and courteous. The hotel even let us keep our car there the afternoon after our check out without charging us-other hotels wouldn't do this. The hotel is very pretty, in the heart of the city, great food and very good service. The problem - we stayed on the third floor in a room between the elevator and the stairwell. We needed a triple and apparently they don't have windows. Between the noise coming up the stairwell from the Bar and the constant noisy drone from the elevators, I didn't […] sleep much. We loved this hotel close to everything but not in the loudest part , we liked that the guests seem to be not to young and respectable people yet the bar was nice place to have a drink the doorman were lovely very helpful we will come again if we can

Great location & lovely clean hotel offering great service but beware of getting room 661. It has no bath tub which you will need if you are planning to party in New Orleans. After a heavy night you will want a bath because the city is a dirty one & the opportunity to soak the next morning will not be there. Outstanding location, beautiful hotel. Standards rooms a bit small, but still very nice. Only problem with hotel was the water pressure in the bathroom. Horrible water pressure.

This is a pet friendly hotel. Although hotel has historical appeal and the bed and pillows were super comfortable, on our 1st night, I was awakened scratching bites on my legs. I learned that the 3rd floor is the floor for pets and we were on the 4th floor. I complained and the room got a thorough cleaning based on the nature of my complaint. I really liked the hotel but since I am the type of person that always gets bites from mosquitos/fleas, etc., and therefore squeamish, I will not be returning. We loved our stay in this fabulous hotel! The rooms were very comfy! Best part was waking up to the French Quarter on our doorstep! 1 street over from Bourbon- but really were not bothered by street noise or busy holiday weekend. Hotel has a wonderful heated pool on the rooftop and a great place to sun and nap away the afternoons too. Beautiful hotel in great location. Elegance and history with all the modern conveniences!
