Fantastic four day stay in this beautiful setting. Our first time to Arizona and loved the time at Loews. The only thing to mar the stay was a crying baby next door to our room the last two nights, as the communicating door allowed the noise to be heard.

Our stay at this resort for a long weekend was great. We came mostly to hike and relax, and being able to take the Ventana canyon hike right from the hotel, or drive a few mins to Sabino canyon was perfect! We also really enjoyed hanging at the hotel's pool - even though it was mostly full some days it was never loud or unpleasant. The room was nice […] and had plenty of space, and we really enjoyed the patio - although admittedly some rooms did have a much superior view/location than others. The restaurants had good food and we enjoyed the meals that we ate there. The only downside of our stay was that there was a giant brunch on Easter Sunday, that took over the whole hotel... including set up for the event the entire day before...AND...to make things worse, the brunch had been sold out for months so there was not even an option to go to it if we'd wanted. We were fine with having brunch somewhere else, but when we came back that day there were no parking spots at the hotel and all of the families who were doing the easter egg hunt were cutting through the pool area all afternoon right past our chairs. It just felt a little bit like we were not welcome even though we were the hotel guests. 더 보기

The hotel didn't have enough pool chairs for the guests. Rooms look outdated. Mattress not comfortable. Pool staff very nice. 9 for self parking feels like nickel/dime

It was a very pleasant stay in the hotel. We really enjoy the great and peaceful surroundings. The service people is very kind and care about any guest needs. The hotel was crowded and we had a little delays in room cleaning service, anyway the stay was just perfect!

My wife and I spent 4 days there to relax and see the surroundings. Very comfortable, service was attentive and meals very good. The bed was a little soft for our taste but not that big a deal. We'd return and probably will.

Employee service / friendliness was outstanding.

This hotel is wonderful for those who enjoy nature and want to be close to Sabino Canyon. It is located on the NE side of Tucson which is relatively far from the urban area. The number of restaurants in the hotel and the surrounding area is very limited so make reservations before you go. The rooms were very comfortable and clean but the hotel is not […] new. We had a fourth floor room which looked out on the desert and waterfall behind the hotel; very pretty. 더 보기

Great and friendly staff! Always available to assist with a smile. Peaceful and Beautiful grounds. Will stay at this hotel if I am ever back in Tucson! Did not have the opportunity to eat at any of the restaurants.

Our experience was amazing during the New Years weekend. Enjoyed the quiet walks to the waterfall at night, the hot tub was great. We enjoyed that each night all to ourselves. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was great...Food was outstanding, service overall was awesome.

Just a quick comment. we stayed in room 258?. It would be nice if someof the trees were cut down on the south side of the building so people can enjoy the view of Tucson, especialy during night hours.

extraordinary setting - great, alert, caring staff -- restaurant somewhat pricey (eg.$6.00 oatmeal) -- premises in excellent shape and would gladly stay again .. bravo!!

Hotel was awesome. Weather was terrible , but had nothing to do with the hotel. Even though we froze and were wet for days, the hotel was great.

The location was the best thing about this place...right up against the mountain with a beautiful view of the city and next door to Ventana Canyon trailhead, which is a great hike altho challenging so be prepared. In house restaurants were good with nice evening ambiance. We really enjoyed the Flying V restaurant on our last night. Room was just ok, […] large, with exterior porch, could use a little refurbishing. Surprisingly, bed and bedding not that comfortable. Biggest disappointment was the bathroom: no fan so every shower would fog all mirrors, only half glass shower door so water sprays out all over floor, no night light so either pitch black or all lit up all night, very poor hair dryer so be sure to take one. A little bit noisy once in a while (lots of dogs) but very quiet and peaceful place for the most part. We would definitely go back. 더 보기

Did not get the room we asked for . 1st room did not have bed pillows, took over 1hr to get. It was a pull down bed. Next night we asked to change rooms,were told they would call when the room was ready, never got the call. The food cr. gave us a free meal,and even at free it was not good, slow service, water refills,cold food.

wow it was unbelievable, fantastic place to stay, right up to the desert and foot of the mountains. I wished I had gotten there earlier but got there in the middle of the night. I did ask for a later check out which was granted without any problem. why go out of the USA when you can come to a place like this, in Tucson Arizona.

Although the beds are not as comfortable as I would expect for such a posh hotel, the rooms were very nice and the view was to die for. I would love to have the giant bathtub in my home. Great staff! Food at Bill's Grill was fantastic and the pool was very enjoyable.

We were excited to reserve a great king size room for an evening in Tucson however upon our arrival we discovered that the room we had reserved and paid for was no longer available and we were given a room that had a murphy bed and a $50 restaurant credit. The room turned out to be alright and we decided to stay but it took 4 calls to the front desk […] to get a maid to come and make up the bed and bring us pillows and blankets. We did have a nice dinner and enjoyed the band in the lobby but the next morning I tried to make coffee and the only thing I got was a couple of drops and grounds in my cup. So we called the front desk and explained the problem and was told they would send up a couple of cups of coffee. A little over an hour later we got a pot of coffee. So a couple of hiccups but nice scenery. 더 보기

The hotel was a pleasant blend of excellent, personable service, comfort, and a great pace for all types. Whether a couple on a honeymoon, vacationing family, or someone looking to relax, this should definitely be a top pick in Tucson. The view of the city is not bad either. I will be back for sure.

Hotel was very nice. Was in town for business but will likely return for leisure with my girlfriend. Pool area was nice, had a few hours to kill before checkout. Around noon a handful of families traveling together showed up with there brood of kids and toddlers, not that they bothered me but if there for a relaxing romatic weekend with my significant […] other Im not sure that I would feel the same way. Only complaint would be the internet isnt free. Good excuse to leave the computer at home if there for relaxation but I was there for business, and the $9 a day parking lot fee which I never saw advertised or was told about until checkout. Overall, I highly recommend for leisure. Business on the other hand, I prefer free internet and parking. When my audit rolls around I'll undoubtedly hear "Stay somewhere with free internet and parking." In some places I might expect them to be a typical fee but not in Tucson. 더 보기

We had a really nice stay at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We highly recommend it for a great get away.

Nice hotel but don't stay in the East wing. It is too far away from all the elevators and the pool and just anything that you could use in the place,.

great place, i love the tub!

We really loved our time at the Resort. The weather was not good, but we were there to get rest and celebrate our anniversary, The staff was great and let us have a late check out. We will be back this time with golf clubs! steve

I stayed over night after attending a jazz concert which was awesome! All of the hotel personnel I encountered were friendly and helpful.

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time. When they say Resort - they mean it! Beautiful grounds, excellent service and clean rooms with beautiful views! Outstanding - we are very pleased and will definately return!

The hotel acommodations were quite nice and very reasonably priced in comparision to other local hotels. The room was clean & well appointed, the service satisfactory. I was surprised at the $9/day charge to have wifi in the room. It is free only in the lobby. The main dining room has been closed for some months, I thought the food prices a trifle on […] the high side. There are several restaurants a 5 minute drive from the hotel. There is a daily charge of $9 whether you self park or use the valet service. 더 보기

Awesome place never had such a good time the best

My husband and I stayed there for a 3rd year anniversary, we had an amazing time, there was only 2 little things that just was not perfect, one being there was a huge bathtub and when we wanted to take a shower it only had one large door so half the shower was open, and it was a little chilly, the other was you paid to stay at the resort, but they charge […] you $9.00 to park your vehicle in the parking lot. 더 보기

Lovely hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff. The Sunday brunch was fantastic. We also enjoyed the various musicians throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return to this hotel.

Great place. If you are on business and looking for a quiet place to stay, I would highly recommend. Especially for the price I paid. A little off the beaten track but nice once you are at the resort.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lowe's Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. The room, grounds and lobby area were all immaculate. The staff was extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to make us feel welcome and well cared for. We enjoyed the music that was played in the lobby by Doug and Mike. When I accidentally left my jacket […] at the hotel, I called the resort and was told that they would mail it immediately! It doesn't get better than this. We hope to return for another stay. 더 보기
