Clean, good continental breakfast, quick check-in

It is a great place to stay. Not the most convinient to the airport, but nothing is very far in Fairbanks.

Breakfast sucks, no bowls, no plates, no hot food, not even a waffle griddle. Shower head dribbled water, ice conditioning was broken when we checked in but was fixed next day after we complained. Can't imagine what this place is like during the busy tourist season, i'm sure they charge high dollar rates for sub standard service.

The hotel is nice and clean with a restaraunt on site. It is very central to down town--good location. More secure than a lot of hotels here. You have to have key card to access elevators. However, the walls were very thin and the toilets very loud. Let's just say we knew when the restroom next door was being used. Which means they knew the same of […] us. Not a very private feeling. I'd stay again for what I paid through Hotels.com but I wouldn't pay their full price. 더 보기

No wifi or swimming pool.

This hotel has plenty of conference rooms, resturants, and one shop. The rooms were average and mine lacked a fridge and microwave which was a little disapointing since I was staying in Fairbanks a couple days. Then I had thought I read that the hotel had a WiFi connection in the rooms but I guess I misread. They do have WiFi but only in the lobby. […] Which was pretty annoying since I had to drag my laptop, portable scanner, and a million reports down to the lobby to finish up my day of work. The neighborhood is ok. There are a couple resturants with in walking distance. If your a big pizza person I reccomend going to Big Al's about two blocks from the Hotel. The neighborhood did get kind of shady after dark when I went walking trying to see the northern lights (ended up having to drive about 10 miles outside town to see them). 더 보기

Hotel was nice, convenient to the downtown area and to the highway. Although there is nowhere to eat nearby after 9PM including at the hotel. Room was comfortable and quiet.

Nice size room, bathroom clean, good location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant was good too. Pleasant stay and would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Not impressed with continental breakfast. They could have offered more.

The room was good. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The only negative parts were the drunks hanging around the elevator and the other ones digging in the cigarrettle butt can outside.

We rented 3 rooms through hotels.com and the hotel told us they could not put us together. We were on 3 different floors in two separate wings of the buildings. Did not make us happy b/c we were with my elderly parents who needed more assistance. However, our adult son enjoyed being on a separate floor. :) The clerk did not give us the correct inormation […] or any information on how to get to each location. We had to do trial and error to find the correct elevators. As soon as the elevator door opened on one of the floors, we were hit with a very awful smell. Bad body oder combined with vomit. Our rooms were actually nice and comfortable, but too many other bad incidents and we will not be going back to there again. 더 보기

Need little improvements: the internet in the lobby with the door opening all the time and cold air coming in was the worse part, but also the light in the bedroom could be better, the pillow could be lower or give option, and the stuff could be nicier giving tourist information (they sent me to the old visitor center that has been moved 3 years ago) Besides […] everything is great. The restaurant inside the hotel is great with a good price. the bedroom temperature is ease to control and the location is good. 더 보기

We enjoy this hotel very much when we are away from home. It is at the top of list for hotels. You will not be dissatisfied if you stay here. Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Will stay here again when we need to be in Fairbanks.

The staff were very courteous and easy to work with but I did not get the room I was booked into. I was put in the older section of the hotel, which is passable - clean and quiet - but the room was small and showed its age. It lacked the modern travelers' amenity of access to WiFi. I stayed at Westmark a few times before and found the hotel great. However, during my last stay I accidently reserved a room that was in an older wing, big mistake. Also, there was a lot of noise outside my window because of the lounge downstairs.

at the bar they were out of some of the beers advertized. out of some of the items on the menu. pillows were were way too big and hard foam. no shuttle to the airport.

Nice restaurant. Decent breakfast. Really caters to small conferences. Rooms are roomy. We stay here often when we have late flights and need to spend the night before heading down the highway to home.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness, the staff and the all around experience of being away from home. Our stay was very enjoyable. Very quiet and the mattress gave us a good night's rest. Will definitely be booking with the Westmark again.

Two very small beds. They had to be twin beds. Old mattresses. The beds will not sleep two comfortably. A 15 year old small tv. Repaired bathroom ceiling but never painted.

Visiting Fairbanks from warmer parts of the state and my car failed the challenge of 51 below zero. One call to the desk brought help - a heater under the car for 1/2 an hour and when that didn't work, a jump. So I was on my way, on time, and feeling great about my stay. No fee, no hesitation, no grumbling. I have stayed in about 5 other Fairbanks hotels, […] and this is my new favorite. 더 보기

The hotel is very nice. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was inadequate boild eggs, toast, ceral, milk. I've seen and eaten at other hotels that had better and free to. HOTELS. COM CHARGED me an extra $10 for a breakfast that the hotel offers for free. Overall I was happy with the stay. Just that breakfast ducks.

Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Rooms and public areas were in great shape. Great service at front desk. Mattress in room seemed a little worn out, but was still comfortable.

Comfy, clean at a reasonable price. The only shortcoming is the continental breakfast closes too early, hopefully can be 9:30 instead of 9:00 in the morning.

The Hotel is close to town and businesses but not close to resturants or stores I did not like this,

no house keeping during my stay

This is the second time that my family and I have stayed at the Westmark. We paid a little extra to stay in the North Tower (more updated rooms) with 2 queen bed rather than the standard room. We just love this hotel and the staff was super friendly. When we stay in Fairbanks, we will always stay at the Westmark.

This hotel falsely advertised, showing only the newer parts of it on the website. When I arrived I was told I would be in the "south tower" which turned out to be the old building. Aside from the "south tower" I was in, the rest of the hotel appeared to be very nice, presentable, clean and new. Our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The window […] was nearly impossible to open and close - which I had to open in an attempt to air the room out, only to find that people were smoking below us in the parking lot.. The screen had a hole in it as well.. The shower went from being too hot to to cold, no matter what I did. The paint was peeling on the ceiling, the mirror wasn't clean, there was a dead bug in the bedding and a dead moth on the night stand. We also found over 8 hairs of varying lengths and different points of origin in various places - one particularly long and stuck to a lamp shade.. The cleaning staff was extremely loud while cleaning the room next door, but they sounded like they were having a good time at least. While browsing the hotel guest directory I noticed the pages were spattered with coffee and bits of food.. And "Mandy" had written her name and phone number on the back of one of the pages in large print. Once we decided to watch tv.. The tv was functional, but the picture was terrible. It had lines of static going through it with the occasional loud buzzing sound interrupting the audio. I ended up shutting it off. Overall, I would not return to this hotel again unless I were to be put in a better part of the building, or at least a cleaner room that didn't smell like cigarettes and had a decently functioning shower. According to the sign on the inside of our door we paid about half the normal price! I'm so glad we didn't pay full price for such a disappointment. 더 보기

The hotel is clean and very comfortable, and they offer a very nice continental breakfast.
