The stay was excellent except for the restraunt.It closes at 8 pm Saturday nights and we arrived at 7:15 to obviously the last of the leftovers.my husband got one small baby Yukon potato cut in half.Mine were supposed to be garlic mashed but came out being instant potatoes that I could still taste the flakes.But we had a very friendly waitress.Other […] than that was pleasant and the warm cookie was a bonus and the bottles of water they leave in the room was a nice touch.would definitely recommend this hotel . 더 보기

Great value great view

the stay was ok we have stayed in this particular hotel before but just recently they no longer provide free wiifi. it is a 10.95 fee and if you have more than one laptopn to connect like a spouse's you pay an additional fee its not just for the room. will not be staying there again.

We stayed at this hotel after a day of shopping at the Mall of America. We were willing to drive a few miles for a good deal, but I wish we had stayed elsewhere. The "free wireless internet" no longer exists at this hotel. They are under renovation and after an "upgrade", said the front desk clerk, wireless internet is now $10.95 per day. After complaining […] that our reservation was made before the new charges took effect, we received a passcode to get internet services. But buyer beware! Who knows what other new "upgrades" will result in extra charges. This hotel clearly caters to a business clientele that can expense such things to their employer. The room was beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable. However, the fancy sink in the bathroom didn't drain. Within 5 minutes of a call to the front desk, a building engineer was at my door and explained that the new sinks experience "air lock", which means that the sink won't drain immediately. I have stayed at other Doubletree hotels around the country. This one is not of comparable quality as other similar hotels in the chain. While the accommodations were fair, they were just not up to my expectations for Doubletree.

Hotel was very loud, I was awakend twice during the night by people in the hall and in the room next door. In addition hotel recently started charging for internet in the rooms and even with that it was not realiable. I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel!!! They were repairing the pool & HUGE whirlpool the day we left, but we enjoyed it the night before!!! Would recommend this hotel to others!!!

Recently took my kids to this hotel during spring break. It was very helpful to have the free shuttle from airport as well as to/from mall. Did not get to use pool due to construction. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Would be nicer if breakfast was included.

Great place to stay with kids. I really liked the special treat of warm chocolate chip cookies whenever you wanted one. The kids thought that was very neat. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was wonderful and very friendly. The hotel is easy to see from I-494, and a short drive to the Mall of America. The description on Hotels . com website for this hotel mentioned video games (thought our son might enjoy that), but there were not any video games. The pool was quite large as was the hot tub, both were comfortable and clean. […] Plenty of large towels available too. The beds were very nice, and our room was quiet. My ONLY complaint was with the bathroom. It was incredibly small. So small that when you opened the bathroom door, it hit the toilet. If you're like most couples or families, you tend to share the bathroom when getting ready. This is nearly impossible. Right away we were greeted by a friendly woman at the front desk. I was impressed with the level of service we received from her and she was very prompt. The cookies that they give you upon check-in is a unique in a very pleasant way. We were able to spend a little time in the bar and were equally impressed with the man working there. He was extremely […] friendly and attentive. The beds were so comfortable! The bathroom was neat and tidy. The shampoo and conditioner is superb. The doubletree staff did an outstanding job making our stay an enjoyable one. The swimming pool and hot tub were great!!!

Great location, easy to find. Very comftrouble.

If you're taking the shuttle to or from the airport allow extra time. Though it's only a 15 minute trip, the shuttle transports crew from AirTran and waits up to twenty minutes for them. I waited maybe longer than that coming from the airport to the hotel and another 15 returning to the terminal. Also the shuttle does not stop at Humphrey unless you […] ask them to, so you might be waiting there all day. The pool says it has towels but when we went down to the pool there were none, everyone grabs them and puts them across chairs even if they aren't using them. It's not the hotel's fault. Of course I was there super bowl weekend so maybe there were more people than usual. Also the hot tub was filled with little kids (8 years and up) bobbing around in their floaties. Beware! Charges at their coffee shop were made to my room - not by me! Identification should be checked by all staff every time someone attempts to make a room charge for food etc! I was angry this happened but they did remove the charges when I denied making the charge.

Atmosphere of hotel guests and employees was very "snooty".

Always Love Staying at this Hotel

Our room was everything I expected! The bed was very comfortable and I loved the luxurious bedding. Since we live in a small town we really enjoyed the view of the city lights from the 18th floor along with the awesome sunrise! Highly recommend this hotel!

Nice spacious rooms with comfy beds. Great pool area for kids and adults with plenty of loungers and tables. Not much close to hotel but only 10 min drive to mall and downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

Comphy beds, full pillows, temp in room was hard to control

We had a great time. There is a shuttle to the Mall if you want, we drove and it was easy to get there. We went downtown as well from this location and it was easy to drive as well. Hotel was very clean, great pool area for the kids. Huge hot tub area but very busy with kids. Our kids are teenagers and the pool are was full of grade school children […] or less, but not a problem as its a big area and we went out a lot. The price was really good for what your getting, we will definitely stay there again. 더 보기

I got a stellar deal on this hotel from hotels.com, and stayed here over a weekend. We arrived very late, and the hotel staff made the check in incredibly quick, and even showed us where our room was. Room was great. Bed was comfortable, nice TV, great shower, clean, and relatively quiet. There's where the caveat is. Because my arrival was so late, […] the only non-smoking king room they had left was a Cabana room right off the pool on the first floor. Very cool when using the indoor heated pool and hot tub. Not cool when you want to sleep in after a late arrival, but the pool has kids at play at 9AM. =D So, if you book this hotel, and take kids with you, get one of those rooms... you have a private patio (complete with furnature) right outside your front door in front of the pool. If you intend on sleeping in, then make sure your room isn't one of these, makes sleeping in a little difficult. All in all, whenever I'm in Minneapolis, I will definitely check to see if this hotel is available, and at a discount before I look at anything else. 더 보기

I recomen double tree hotel for the following reasons: While my family and stay there i noticed that the sanitation of the facility was better than any other hotels that we had stay thru the US, the price was very reasonable, the parking was accessible and lots of space, you can also find there a starbucks, a good size restaurant with a good menu, a […] gift shop, a very good size workout room, my family enjoyed an indoor swimming pool. over all i recommend this hotel to anybody. 더 보기

Room was ok. The room we booked was not the room we got, and they were not even a litke bit helpful when we asked to switch. Bed was comfortable, pillows werent great by any means.

The hotel is dated and in an odd location. I would not recommend.

I usually try to stay at this hotel. It's convenient, comfortable and always pleasant.

The hotel itself was great. But, the front desk person had me waiting for almost 20 mins. while she was on the phone with someone. The elevators were non-working so we had to carry our luggage up to the 7th floor when we arrived and checked-out.
