레드라이언 호텔 온 더 리버 - 잔첸 비치 (Red Lion Hotel on the River - Jantzen Beach) - 포틀랜드

Stayed overnight before an appointment in Portland, pleasantly surprised by the "resort" aspect of the hotel. Older hotel but quite well maintained, room was large and clean, beds comfy. Had a nice hot breakfast in the restaurant, well priced for the food ordered. Would definitely stay there again.

The Red Lion at Jantzen Beach served the purpose of our stay. The property was in good condition. It is a little aged but no problems of note. The location has good access for commuting to many locations. There are shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Be sure to eat at Norma's Kitchen.

All I can say is that my stay was just right. I would recommend this property to anyone who visits Portland.

This is an older facility but well maintained. There is a large shopping center nearby. An antique carousel is housed in the mall. The hotel itself is very large and was good for the conference we attended. Taco Bell and Burger King only a block away. Mall at shopping center has food court with what looked like very reasonable and good Indian and Asian […] food although we did not eat there because most meals were provided via the conference. They also had a library in one of the connecting hallways from which you could borrow paperbacks. Nice touch. 더 보기

Hotel was very large, but also very modern and well-kept. Our rooms were next to an Interstate overpass, and not far off the flight path of a nearby airport-still the rooms were quiet. Close to restaurants and close to many areas of interest in Portland, without the traffic and press of people. Our car was broken into at a restaurant across the river […] in Vancouver, so take care where you park over there. That said, I would easily use this Red Lion anytime I was in the area. I booked at another local motel and found the room there depressing, you know without any sunshine that’s typical in Portland you notice things like a room being less than bright and cheerful. I moved to the Red Lion and stayed there for 9 nights. I thought the room was bright and comfortable. I did not visit the restaurant even once, I just did not […] have the chance. Nice setting for this hotel, directly on the Columbia river, and very well situated for all highways and the airport. The general areas were neat and clean and the people at the front desk were quite nice. Parking was good and safe. The HVAC worked but we visited at a time in the year we needed heat, getting the proper temp was tough, either too hot or too cold, we could not get it right. Bed was comfortable and bath clean. Only complaint was the morning coffee, yes all was in the room but the tap water quality was beyond bad and I’d assume in the restaurant the water is purified. I would have thought a motel as the Red Lion would at very least have complementary coffee for guests prepared in a common area. That being said I will probably stay here next time in Portland, but Red Lion Management please think about the morning coffee situation. 더 보기

We loved the grandeur of the Red Lion Hotel on the River. Everything is spacious and well appointed. The rooms are gorgeous. We ate breakfast in the Bar and Grill and the price was really good for the calibre of breakfast - delicious! There was also an amazing view of the Columbia River and the long bridge that connects Oregon to Washington. best place to stay for the money! had an awesome room and beautiful view of the Columbia River right at dusk, good music in the lounge, never had to leave the hotel for all these conveniences!

Our room was super clean with a beautiful view of the river. The staff was very nice and security was constantly walking around to keep an eye on things. The location was close to dining and shopping. They have charter boats that will pick u up there. We will definatelystay there again.

I really like our stay at this hotel. I will stay again if the price is the same. Having a night club in the hotel on Saturday was the icing on the cake. Didn't expect I was going to rock on roll, but we did. Will recommend to my friends next time they travel to Portland.

Enjoyed the stay here. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Downtown Portland is about 7 miles away. Went to club on Friday nite. no cover if you staying there. had a live band. Room was spacious and bed was comfy.

Hotel is nice, rooms are large and clean. Hotel staff were helpful and nice. The only downside is the restaurant, the food was good but the service was terrible.

This location is much better then the red lion just acrossed the river. in much better shape

This was our first visit to Portland, Oregon. The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Our room was comfortable, clean and most importantly in a non smoking wing. We had a view of the river and pine trees with squirrels chirping outside our window. Their restaurant was good and the staff was generally pleasant. Within walking distance there is a shopping […] mall with numerous major stores like Pier 1, Target, Ross and Safeway. The only draw back is that it is a bit far from downtown Portland, however, close to Vancouver, Wa. 더 보기

This would have been a far better stay if I had avoided the hotel on this weekend. I did not know that on this weekend a very large group of young people had taken over the hotel. It was not fun, security tried to keep the noise down but they were only marginally successful. I will be asking about large groups in the future.

I thought it pretty chinzy of the hotel not include continental breakfast for all...just the 4th floor

I have stayed at this hotel many times before. My daughter goes to a nearby college, so the easy on/off I-5 access, as well as the nearby amenities, make it a good choice. I have only used Hotels.com one other time for this hotel, and both times, I have saved money from the hotels online rates. The Hotels.com price was over $30 less than the hotels […] actual rate. Very nice and comfortable. Great value.

I recently stayed there for an out of town work trip but would definitely stay there for leisure. They offer free shuttle service to/from the airport which is very nice. Great hotel at an affordable price. Friendly guest services and great view of the river.

We were there for a dance competition so you can only imgaine how many kids were there. My only complaint was the people above us. They were up early running around both mornings. Other then that the hotel was great!

Awesome stay! I arrived I told them my dog was traveling with me. For and additional $15, she could stay with me. The hotel delivered dog bowls, treats and a bed for her. My bed was great too!

The entire stay all I could hear was high pitched noise of running pipes. The stay was for New Years weekend, yet surprisingly New Years was quieter than the following night. Many empty rooms and yet guests were all checked in right next to eachother due to understaffing of housekeeping, forcing everyone to hear everyone nearby. Housekeeping could improve, […] the shower needed cleaning, hair from previous visit in tub and bathroom floor. Crumbs and coin on the floor in main living area. Headboards needed wiped down, had handprints & grease marks. I walked out with a severe headcold, can't help but think the lack of cleanliness of my room contributed. Staff was friendly. Parking convienant. Bed was comfy. Appreciated updated electronics, brand name toilettries. View of Interstate bridge would have been charming if there weren't a dozen rusting storage containers sitting in the center of the parking lot. the club was right down stairs so no d.u.i they played awsome music every one was happy and friendly and me and the wife had a wonderful time it was like a second honeymoon i am looking for a reason to go back i loved it...

My parents reserved one room here, and my husband and I reserved another separately, both using Hotels.com. My parents' room was all the way at the west end of the hotel and had a view of the river, very nice. Our room was just as nice, but we were on the lower level, east end of the hotel, where something was leaking in the mechanical room across the […] hall, workers woke us up with a wet vac and swearing, and other workers were tearing out carpet in the hallway between us and the lobby. They might have had a better choice of room under these circumstances (it was Sunday night), and next time, I will ask for a room on the main or upper levels. 더 보기

This hotel is an old classic on the Columbia River. It has been very nicely maintained and is a beautiful facility. However, there were some drawbacks. First, there was no table and chairs in the room for eating a meal. Second, room service got our breakfast order wrong both mornings. Finally, there was a wedding party or some other kind of party that […] made for a very loud night. First of all...ask to talk to a superviser or manager if you have any questions. I was amazed by how many incorrect answers I got from staff regarding a particular event sponsered by the hotel itself. also don't stand naked near the door after getting out of the shower. house keeping will walk in on you with out knocking an hour before check out time. […] Again....talk to a manager or superviser to complain.
