Great one night stay

Good food, clean comfortable and convenient

room was beautiful- food was great hotel had everything you needed and more

2 Rooms were booked months in advance & were supposed to be adjoining but upon checkin the registration person did not seem to be aware we had 2 rooms so we ended up some distance apart. Not overly impressed with the attitude of this front desk person as didnt seem to care. Room had a bit of a musty odor but opening the window helped. This room was booked through an internet site and the hotel did not know we had our pet. Ended up with a pet room that for smokers and we are not smokers. The price was very high I felt for one night's stay.

The room was clean and comfy I always enjoy staying there.

Our non-smoking room was clean and comfortable, but the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke.

We requested non-smoking and got a clean, delightful room; however the cigarette smoke in the hall and throughout the corridors was horrid, and came through the heating vents. To get fresh air, we had to leave the patio door open all night long. When I told the man at the desk about it Saturday morning, he just shrugged his shoulders. We stay in Elko six times a rear, and it is usually at the Comfort Inn because it is so much cleaner, but to save $20 we went with the Red Lion. m Big mistake. The restaurant was superb as was the service. I have used the Red Lion in Portland at Janson Beach for over 30 years and never had a bit of trouble. Only stayed one night, but the room was pretty big with a decent price. Super nice room and the bed was really comfortable. I didn't like that we had to wait until 4pm to check in, but other wise I was really happy with the room.

Up todate rooms and Clean. OK beds. I would stay thear again.

we were traveling through to Utah and thought that Red Lion would be exempt from the kinds of things we witnessed. Not used to smoking in supposedly nice hotels and saw a deal between a prostitute and a man in the hallway . luckily our children didnt see. Make sure to get one of the updated rooms! Worth the small price difference for sure!

Red Lion is supposed to be top notch. This hotel had very poor customer service. They were rude at the front desk, there is a not business center (though I was told there was one when I called). They send you across the street to another hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but the smoke from the casino permeates everything! I will not stay here […] again. 더 보기

We've stayed in this hotel before since it is halfway between our Colorado - California treks. I wasn't going to go back since it seemed pretty seedy last time, but since they only charged a fraction of what other hotels charge for pets, we decided to book again. We were so surprised by the upgrades to the room. The beds are wonderful now, just as good […] as Marriott; plush towels, very clean and completely comfortable. They didn't have any coupons that casino's usually give out for hotel stays. Price was right, room was spacious and comfortable.

It was a good hotel, nothing bad to say just wasn't to amazing, I would stay here again though :)

Stayed in a premium non-smoking. Room was great. Hallways smelled like stale tobacco smoke.

We had dinner inside the casino. We were not expecting much. The bartender ladies were great! They were very helpful with the menu for finding low cal and vegetable options. We met the wonderful family that are in the process of renovating rooms as well. Great stay!

The bath tub was so dirty I had to wash it before using

Very PET Friendly - rooms all newly renovated. Across from shopping center & a McDonald's.

Rooms were very clean & beds comfortable. Staff pleasant & easy to work with. Had handicap acc room as requested. The on-site restaurant had quick/friendly service with good food. Would stay again.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The shower was great....very different than most hotels! The water was hot and the water pressure perfect! Ahhhh, great after a long day of driving!! The only negative was the smell of cigarette smoke everywhere (hotel halls, lobby and of course the casino!) EXPECT our room! There was NO odor from smoking […] in our room, which was awesome! Reservation was not correct when I arrived...put me in a smoking room and I DO NOT SMOKE and I wanted 2 Queens and was put in a room with one King...Staff at the Red Lion did what they could in finding me what I wanted. In the end I was put in a smoking room (that didn't stink of smoke) and they found my extra bed. Thank you for all the hard work!! […] !! 더 보기

The rooms are ok but the smell of cigarette smoke is over whelming. If you don't like the taste, smell and wear of cigarette fumes go else wear. If you do then this is the place for you! P.S. I was in a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor.

This is a nice place to stay! My bed was very comfy and I had plenty of pillows! The coffee pot and fridge in the room was handy too...the only complaint I had was noisy neighbors.

Don't expect to get what is pictured.

I read the reviews about the smell of smoke and there is no denying that the rooms do smell like smoke but it's not an overwhelming smell of smoke. I would suggest getting a room ruther away from the casino. The front desk gentleman was very friendly and I expressed my concern regarding the smoke smell and he offered to move me further down the hall […] if the smell was not acceptable. I was fine and did not request to be moved. The Garden Cafe I would skip! Poor service and quality of food. The Casino has been remodeled and nice. I would recommend this hotel...the rooms were very nice and comfortable. 더 보기

The Hotel has been nicely remodeled from my last stay, to include a very good restaurant. Service was excellent and the facilities where very clean.

Good place to stay. The food in the Aspin restruant was very good and the room was comfy. will stay again

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Elko, NV. The hotel has a nice place to eat and is kept vary clean. Will stay their again if i drive that way again.

The hotel is okay, but the hotel managers have not paid attention to details. For example, while the sheet were clean, some were torn. The Internet did not work properly and the staffs in the casino are not very polite to even answer questions about food! We stayed there only one night and will not stay there again.

the room was not as advertised (newly renovated)! It was the old rooms that smell like 50 years worth of stale cigarette smoke. Not worth the price I paid for the room. Not one person was friendly or helpful. There was construction all around the streets of the hotel, which made it very difficult to navigate and very loud. Yes this hotel spent 2 million dollars in room upgrades but it stops there. The overall look of the hotel is dirty and old. Our room was supossed to be a non-smoking room but it smelled of cigarettes. The smell was so bad we went out and bought a candle. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. We only stayed one night on our way home from Wyoming […] and I thought it would be fun to gamble while the kids were at the pool bad idea wished we would have stayed at the Holiday Inn. 더 보기

Personally when reading the description of the hotel and seeing that they just remodeled their rooms I was willing to pay the high price for comfort. What they didn't say is they remodeled every floor except one and that is the one they placed me in. The cheaper rooms are not worth the price you pay for them.
