I had very noisy neighbors and staff were unable to manage the situation...it was frustrating.

only problem was that bottom sheets did not fit the king bed

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. We will definitely be going back.

Great place to stay!!!

This Marriott should have their franchise taken away. The room was dirty, and hadn't been cleaned as we found left over personal items in the room...can we say disgusting class? The pool is not in good repair and you can see chlorine stains where the chemicals are pumped into the pool. The front desk didn't seem to bothered when we returned to them […] the priors persons personal items so they could understand our displeasure. Wrote to Marriott only to be ignored. Needless to say, save a few bucks and stay someplace else. There are plenty of other hotels in the area to choose from that are newer. 더 보기

Unsatisfied with the value. Rooms were small but the bed was very comfortable. Dishes were left in the hallway from the time 2pm until 10a.m the next morning (even though we notified the front desk. Pool was not open during stated hours and the front desk needed to be contacted. Nice hotel but service was not up to par.

My family was looking forward to a weekend stay in Kansas City. Before leaving we telephoned and requested an early check-in - they said no problem. We got there at 2pm (checkin is at 3pm) and they said our room was not available even though we had requested an early checkin - they had no apology. The people right in front of us were given there room […] - I said, they were given there room early, and they said that was the last one. We came back at 3pm, when regular checkin starts, and they said our room was still not ready and would not be ready for at least 1 1/2 hours. No apologies again. They said we could have a king size bed with a blow up mattress (as we had four in our family) instead of the double as booked. We had to have that even though the blow up took up most of what remaining space there was in the room. The main reason for my aggravation was that they never apologized for the inconvenience. I paid extra for wireless internet in the room, and the internet connection was terrible. Wireless signal was weak and even when connected to the cable the internet was iffy. I paid $30 extra a night for this convenience and it didn't work. When i reported it to the front desk at check out, I was just informed that they would look into it. Our room was great. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely stay again

Hotel was okay. I was there for work. If I have to go back to Overland Park, I may search for something else next time.

The hotel is nice, but the bathroom can be bigger. The location is very convenient for food and shopping.

Front desk staff very friendly. The breakfast buffet we booked with reservation was awesome! Very cool to have a starbucks in the hotel!! Willl return!

I expect more from Marriott. The hotel was filled to capacity and understaffed. Elevators were "being serviced," although I saw no service happening. I was asked to take the stairs (through the back house of the hotel) and was not offered assistance with baggage. Curbside taxis were not close at hand.

We stayed at the Marriot for our 11th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time, the staff from check in to check out were wonderful and friendly. The pool and hot tub and the whole hotel including our room were very clean and kept up. We did have the buffett breakfast which was so wonderful and yummy! When we arrived at the hotel it was very busy. There was a big soccer tournament and some other big convention. There was people everywhere and one of the elevators was being serviced. With everything going on the hotel staff was great. No lack in customer service at all. The hotel was very clean and still very comfortable. The staff did everything […] the could to accomodate. Great hotel especially for the price. Nice pool tables in the lobby for the kids to play. The hotel gym was in the basement, which I did not like being a woman. It seemed very unsafe to get to. Other than that the rooms were clean and nice. Would stay here again. Right off the highway too!

Everything was great except we did not get the double beds in each room like we wanted. They did give us air mattresses. Also, there was only one cup of regular coffee for three adults. We had to go to the front desk to get more.

A nice Marriott Hotel with a vibrant Bar & reasonable breakfast restaurant. Room was typical, and bed was somewhat of an issue, but the staff was very accomodating in changing rooms nearby. A good experience for three nights.

A nice hotel, however, I had to change my room as the alarm system in each room seems to have a low level buzzing noise which can drive you crazy.

The hotel was fantastic! Nice lounge type bar on the main floor with flat screen tv, the rooms were clean and very up to date, modern. They had a nice big flat screen tv which was very handy when I wanted to watch college football! The hotel concierge were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and the hotel was very clean, the pool & spa area were very nice...the indoor pool was exactly the right temp. Only complaint might be that they did not have free wireless internet, but the Starbucks in the lobby kind of made up for it. For what we paid, this was a very nice hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and courtesy was the word of the day. My only question is why does Marriott Hotel charge for WI-FI when The Courtyard, also a Marriott property located 2 or 3 blocks away, does not? Other than that little inconvenience (there were 2 computers available in the lobby with free […] access, you just had to wait your turn), we enjoyed our stay. 더 보기

Stayed at this hotel for my daughter's 13th birthday & was very pleased. The beds are amazing & the room is very comfy. I also love the decor of the hotel overall. Ate at Nikko's the first night. The sushi was good, but the entrees were rather bland and WAY overpriced. Did not venture into the onsight Starbucks either since it closed daily at 3pm & […] I need my latte in the afternoon! Overall very satisfied with my stay, just wish that we'd eaten dinner somewhere else that first night. Would highly recommend getting breakfast with the room - paying for it separately could be costly. Great breakfast buffet, though. 더 보기

Great service, as usual. As far as the renovations go, I heard a staff member say they were complete, but there are obvious signs that the job is only 99% complete. And why in the heck do you have to walk through the lobby to get to the pool?

Was up to Marriott standards. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Has a Starbucks located inside also...another nice perk for those that want some coffee in the morning.

The upgrades to this hotel were well worth the wait. From the beautiful bar area to the gorgeous exterior this hotel really has stepped up. The front desk service was wonderful. Our only complaint was with breakfast in the cafe, food was mediocre "at best", and way over priced for the quality. I really liked our room. However,my diamond cross necklace came up missing and they were not able to locate it. I really feel someone may have taken it. The hotel manager tried their best to locate it.

Excellent hotel in a great location! Very clean, comfortable rooms that exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend staying here.

True to Marriott standards and my expectations, Marriot Overland Park is an excellent choice for hotel comfort, location, and cleanliness. It is a must stay hotel. All employees I met there are wonderful people.

The Marriott in Overland Park has been refurbished with very comfortable beds and some new decorations. It was a nice place to stay, super clean and it was very easy to oversleep in the soft, king size bed! It would be great if they had an Ipod charger available for guests. Also, the bathtub could be a bit more comfortable (though it was just a standard […] tub so not disappointing exactly). Overall, a great place to stay! 더 보기

I was very pleased with our stay. The room was very comfortable and the bedding was divine to say the least. The location in Overland Park is right near 435 making it convenient to get to most locations. Would definitely stay here again.
