I wasn't overly impressed with the "famed" Peabody Hotel. It was nice enough, but nothing special. I'm not the sort to go to the spa or worry about trolley transfers. The carpet in the room was absolutely filthy, resulting in black feet. Not what I would expect in regard to cleanliness from a hotel of this caliber.

I highly recommend doing this: book this hotel for 2 (ideally 3) nights, BY YOURSELF. Don't bring your tech, if possible. Just relax, wander around, eat, drink, listen to live lounge music, mill around, take many baths and get lots of rest. Go with the flow. Spend some time by a pool, let the waiter come to you. Try to be on the top 3 floors (amazing […] view) and leave curtains open over night. And as the final touch of relaxation, book a facial or message at the spa. Room was very nice and clean, although no coffee pot was in the room. I thought the price was ok when I booked it online, but when I got there they added on hotel service charges of $8 a day (which was supposed to include Wi-Fi, pool use, and free coffee) as well as a ridiculous $16 a day parking charge. I found out about these extra charges AFTER I […] waited in a line for 45 minutes just to check in! You had to go to the hotel lobby for the "free" coffee which consisted of cheap tasting coffee and a line that was 20 people long as well as a cup that wasn't even 8 ounces. We ended up going to the coffee shop and paid $4 for a cup of coffee. They had already closed the water slide so my children couldn't even enjoy that and the pool area wasn't that clean. This was a weekend get a way with my husband and five year old grandson on Memorial Weekend. I had original booked at a different hotel thru another engine that doesn't tell you the name until you pay. Let me just say that I was forced to checked out it was so horrible. Everything was great! I could see Magic Kingdom from my room, and the room fabulous! I loved the ducks, and the staff was INCREDIBLE! Very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful! The hotel was convenient to everything too. I will absolutely stay here again.

loved the hotel. Great location. Local walk to restaurants and shopping. Pool area fun. My daughter enjoy the pool slide. Everybody was nice and helpful. The only problem was when trying to call the front desk from the hotel room phone it rang a long time and sometimes no one picked up. Otherwise everything was great. Would go back again!

Hotel was great, but wish it had coffee maker in the room and the parking garage was closer .

We stayed for two nights and could not have been better looked after. Great amenities, good choice of in house dining, coffee shops, pools etc. 5 minutes from Seaworld and Discovery Cove, 10 minutes from the Florida Mall. We had a great stay and would go back.

was good stay in general but unfortauntelly room services was a bit noisy when we were sleeping and not considering still people are resting. also i need to add another comment which is room service is not allowed ti open the room door while people are sleeping. Privacy is a big issue.

This was our second stay at Peabody. We loved staying in the both times. Very helpful staff and the hotel is just awesome! I suggest you pay a little more and stay at the club level. The breakfast and snacks they offer are marvelous!

We found the hotel to exceed our expectations. Our stay was short but we hope to be back soon. The room had the perfect balance of aesthetics, comfort and state of the art technology. Service was great and everyone was very pleasant. The only negative was the parking charges. The choice was between $16 per night to self park or $27 for vallet.

Loved the hotel! Rooms more spacious than most. Even the bathroom was spacious, with plenty of counter space. Very clean and comfortable. Everything seemed to be like new. Pool areas were also fantastic! Great location too!

The room was warm even when the room thermostats read 65. The hallways were a lot cooler. We stayed on the eighth floor. Called down to desk. They checked it while we went to dinner. Came back and saw curtains were closed but room till was too warm.

Stayed in one of The Loft level rooms for a quick trip to Orlando. Check-in was fairly quick and friendly; elevator to Loft room requires key card to get to the Loft floors which I thought was pretty neat. Room was nicely appointed and mirror in bathroom had a TV which was a nice touch (though more whimsical than useful). They charge $16 for self-parking […] and about $26 for valet. I opted for valet to save myself the somewhat far walk to the parking garage. Call valet from room phone and they will have your car waiting by the time you come down. Overall great experience even though I didn't take advantage of many of the amenities of the hotel. 더 보기

After our reservations were messed up at the Marriott, we ended up booking the Peabody on hotels.com. The rate was excellent. We arrived, it was busy for check-in and the valet parking was backed up, we chose to self park in the parking garage additional fee. After we went up to our room, the kids thought the bathroom TV was awesome. The beds were comfy. […] We then took a small walk around the hotel, being the hotel is huge, it was kind of pain to walk from one side of the hotel to the grotto pool where the kids wanted to go on the 100' water slide. Quick Memorial Day weekend trip, excellent front desk service, excellent bell captains, excellent restaurant staff, ample parking (worth the $17 per day charge) without worrying if you arrive real late and the lot will be full. They make you valet you car at the rate of $26.00 per day and it took 45 min to an hour to get your car and that was only after we requested a manager and while I was talking to the manager several other guest came up to her for the same thing. I was there for three days and it happened over and over. Then after reviewing the bill they charged me for […] things I did not buy and even charged me twice for the parking some of the charges were small so you would not notice them. I took the bill to the front desk and was helped by Michael his stated to me it must be a miss posting and took it off my bill and he said it happens all the time. After all the issues I had you would think that they would offer me something for there errors it took me several hours to get this corrected. The management either does not care or are poorly trained. Michael was the only one that felt bad for me. As a last note when I asked for the manager it took another 15 min for her to come out of her office and when she got my car all she said was there's your car! 더 보기

The Peabody is a nice hotel, it's modern, clean and well situated. With that said, this place needs new management. There is very little communication between the various departments and it's adversely affecting the stay. For starters, nobody picks up the phone, I called about a dozen times and no answer. As I was checking-in this lady was down in the […] lobby screaming at the staff because they don't answer the phone. Checking out, the valet people told me, very rudely, it's a 30 minute wait to get my car out. I was under the impression that the reason valet exists is to make it convenient and easy to park, not the other way around. Parking is not free either, Valet was $35 and they refuse to give you back your key for self checkout, they say that the care are behind a gate.... well open the gate and let the 20 people waiting on their cars to go fetch them! Overall, an anti-climactic stay at an otherwise very fine hotel. Look elsewhere before booking here. 더 보기
