Reservation made for a room with king bed; was given 2 queens next to elevator (which clanged ALL night)

This hotel is right on the river walk. Literally steps away! You are connected to a small mall as well. The hotel is nice and clean. However, the rooms are small and the hallway noise is very loud. We traveled with our 2 year old and were in bed rather early, but my husband and I did not sleep. We heard our neighbors yelling and people in the halls […] up until 4 in the AM. I realize this is not necessarily the hotels fault, however, I felt like it was louder than it would have been in other hotels and we never heard any security or any one address the problem. The beds were noisy and uncomfortable. Parking is not cheap but the no hassle of it for a hotel being downtown was nice. 더 보기

I wasnt satisfied room was too small. The beds seem like they were full size not qeen. Kids werent able to eat free breakfast the only way they can it was was an adult purchase. No frige or microwave in room. Not satisfied at all!

The restaurant was very overpriced considering all the other eating options around with better flavor. At one point we ended up at another Marriot next to it which makes it very comfusing and unecessary. I coiuld hear everything in the room next door. The Bar made their drinks very very ligt for the price but overall it was good stay. Booked this room for it's proximity to Lila Cockrell Theater. It was also located on the Riverwalk and very near the Alamo so we walked everywhere. My complaint about this hotel is that the premium price for a room doesn't include free internet. Really?!?

We stayed during Fiesta, hotel staff is friendly & helpful. With the exception of the very loud closing doors, we were in a very quiet area, which was an enormous plus for me. Their linens & pillows are deliteful! Hotel is clean & lovely overall. My only reasons I would not stay here again are that there was an area of mildew on the bathroom ceiling. […] I did not like the mattress at all. It was loud & squeaky if you just sat or moved on it, very annoying! Also, although the temp was set low, the room never really got cold. 더 보기

You don't have to drive anywhere. There are lots of restaurants close by and plenty of things to do.

Negative: I specifically asked for a room with a view of something and the gal indicated that the room had a view of the city and that there really weren't any bad view rooms. I got a room on one of the hotel "legs" near the corner so i had a view of the air conditioning below, a slight view of the river, clear view into other hotel rooms. You may need […] to be specfic about where you would like your room. Pros: The staff is outstanding! Especially the concierge desk! Orlando was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. We told him we were going to the Tower of the Americas for dinner, he picked up the phone and called them right then and there and made our reservation. Needed a short weekend getaway for some R&R with the family. Checking in was very simple and the front desk was very accommodating. Upon check-in, was quickly booked with a room on the 25th level facing the the riverwalk/mall. Provided with a complimentary fridge and crib (2 year old). Room given with King size bed - which was clean and very comfortable. […] Easily located with direct access from the mall and riverwalk. Simple vmail process checkout. Only negative was the concierge hesitant with confirming 100% that the boat tour was open on Easter. That's how good the stay was. 더 보기

The stay was beautiful. It was our one yr. anniversary and our first time to SA together. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel then the Marriott. We are staying here again, for sure.

always enjoy staying at clean hotels. The check out process was great being able to check out from the room and not be bothered with the lines. It was a hectic weekend but we were able to get in and out with no issues.

I have stayed at the Marriott San Antonio Rivercenter many times and my experience has always been top notch!!

Very good location. Close to Riverwalk and the Mall and Dining. Kids enjoyed the Pool. Room Service was great, not from a box like others. Could not Valet park my truck 1st night because it was a Dually -considered an oversize vehicle) Had to park in mall Parking Garage.

Our family travels to San Antonio often, but we save money and stay outside the Riverwalk. This time, we spent a little more money and stayed on the Riverwalk. I was very impressed with the hotel. As in earlier reviews (which is why I chose to stay here) the only complaint that I have is the room is a little small. If it is just for a couple, the size […] is just right, but we had a family of 4. We went the end of the week on Spring Break, and according to the staff, was the best time to come. It was busy, but not as busy as Sun - Wed. We ordered room service and you MUST try the chocolate cake - to die for. We will NEVER stay outside the Riverwalk again. Oh - and big plus - parking was included with our stay, although it did not state that on the website. They gave us a card for the garage with in and out access privaleges. Wonderful. And another hint - check out on your TV. 3 clicks, we reviewed our folio, no errors, and missed the entire check out line in the lobby. And last, if you are coming on Spring break, it pays to get a bellhop to unload your truck and park yourself. If you valet, it is convenient in the BEGINNING, but boy - wait until you see the line when it is time to leave - YIKES! My hubby and son made two trips to the car and we beat that line too! NO STRESS! Plus, you have until 4 pm after check out to leave the garage - so once we packed up and checked out, we went back on the Riverwalk for a quick bite to eat before we left. A most awesome experience! So conveniently close to the mall, the riverwalk and surrounding sites. Everyone at the hotel was courteous. An over-all great place to stay!

Me and some friends recently stayed here and it was my first time to visit the river walk. I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The river walk is literally right outside, the pool is really cool although it can get crowded, and the fitness room was simply amazing. I am very glad I made this hotel a part of my memory of my first visit there, […] after a nice long day of roaming around San antonio it is nice to come back to a comfortable, clean bed and room and really nice staff. Nice place, lots of pillows, close to the convention center, parking is 25 bucks extra plus taxes-- parking across the street in the city parking garage is $9. Others in my group were just as happy in nearby hotels for 100 to 150 dollars less per night.

The hotel was fine but there were cheerleaders EVERYWHERE and we waited for elevators for 15-20 minutes at a time....ugh! And because they were so busy with cheerleaders that ran up and down the halls, we waited until late into the afternoon for our room to be cleaned, etc....I really expected more for our choice of hotel.

wE HAVE STAYED HERE ALOT AND ENJOYED OUR STAY EVERY TIME. THIS TIME WE HAD NO HEATING IN OUR ROOM. THE TEMP OUTSIDE DIPPED TO THE 30'S SO WE IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. NOT TO SWAY US FROM STAYING HERE AGAIN. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL.

Joined my wife on a business trip, it didn't want to stay where her group was (DelRio), so we stayed at the RiverCenter. Marriott ought to use staff here as their model of service. They were uniformily gracious & accomodating. Ate 2 meals there (breakfast & a late dinner) . Both were excellent and speedily delivered. Great excercise area, including […] an indoor/outdoor pool. The wait to the valet started off horrible! Once we were attended it was very pleasing as the staff was more than helpful! The room and the location was great to spend the New Year. Dinner at Sazo's was nice and the staff was very attentive. The day if check out was horrendous! We waited 2 HOURS for our cat from valet. Such a waste of the morning! Strongly recommend. Stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter for New Year's and it was great.Staff was absolutely pleasant, service was great and enjoyed the entertainment and dancing. Loved the easy access to the Rivercenter mall, food court and restaurants. Enjoyed the riverboat ride as well. Definetly will book at the Marriott again.

the time was way off, room not ready to be checked in at 4 like it was supposed had to wait till allmost 6 and that i have never ever gone thru before.

The staff was very nice and on top of their game. It was very busy. Great location to the staduim and river walk.

This was extremelyoverpriced for what you get. I very small room in the corner of the hotel floorplan. it had a nice bed,a TV, a bathroom and that was it. I have stayed at this Marriot manny times in the past. All of the rooms have had a microwave, refridgerator, etc.etc. This was obviously one of the cheapest(amenities) rooms they had. Stayed at this hotel before and loved it, but after I checked out it tool 18 mins of us standing there for them to bring me my car, the guy in charge said any minute. if it hadnt been for one of the young hands there to go and actullaly check on my car it wouldve taken longer. all this time my keys were still in the key rack. they apoligized and took […] the fee off my bill. 더 보기
