시나가와 역에서 가까워 이동이 편리하나, 언덕위에 있어 많은 짐을 가지고 가기에는 다소 힘들었습니다. 시나가와역에서 무료셔틀을 이용하는게 좋을 듯합니다.홈페이지에 셔틀버스시간 나와 있더군요. 체크인시 호텔에서도 안내해 줘서, 체크아웃시 공항 이동시 셔틀버스타고 역가지 내려왔습니다. 이번에는 특히 사쿠라가 만개하고 있어 너무 훌륭했습니다.호텔 정원은 사쿠라가 아니더라도 일품이었고, 저녁에 일과후 맥주한잔하기에는 최고였습니다. 출장임에도 불구하고 아침에 호텔 주변을 산책하였는데, 도심속에서 이런 경험은 색달랐습니다.호텔의 침대와 베개도 편하고, 룸도 가격대비 커서 놀랐습니다.

위치는 시나가와역 근처이지만 역에서 나와 산을 올라가야 하는 부담이 있습니다. 하루종일 걷고 호텔로 가려면 조금 난감합니다. 시나가와역 주변은 별로 많은게 없지만 시나가와를 중심으로 서쪽 신주쿠쪽이나 하라주쿠, 동쪽 신바시나 도쿄역등 양쪽을 모두 가기에는 중간 지점이라 지하철로 관광다니기에 시나가와 역은 괜찮습니다. 호텔은 다 괜찮지만 조금 많이 건조하네요. 창문을 열고 잤는데도 불구하고 아침에 건조해서 답답한 느낌이 있습니다.

2주 간 방문하는 동안 일주일을 그랜드 프린스 호텔 타카나와에서 최근 묵었어요.정원이 내려다 보이는 9층 트윈룸에서요. 들어서는 순간 부터, 서비스는 정말 최상이였어요 - 친절하고 예의바른 직원들, 배려심있고 능력있고 - 이런 류의 서비스는 우리가 머무는 내내 계속되었어요. 객실은 좋고 넓고 (심지어 정통 일식이 아니었어요) 깨끗했어요. 청소하는 직원이나 짐 날라주는 서비스도 훌륭했어요. 처음 방에 들어갔을 때는 냄새가 좀 났지만, 한 번 전화를 하니 재빨리 올라와서 먼저 있던 눅눅한 샤워 커텐을 교체하고 방에 스프레이를 뿌렸어요. 호텔 뒤편에는 큰 산책 정원이 있는데, 다른 프린스 호텔들과 (레귤러 프린스 호텔, 그랜드 […] 프린스 뉴 타카나와, 사쿠라 타워) 연결되어 있었고, 가끔 휴식 시간에 어슬렁 거리기 좋았어요. 다른 시설들은 무료 초 고속 인터넷, 세탁 서비스(부가 요금), 나리타 항공까지 직행 셔틀 버스가 포함되어 있어요. 뉴 다카나와 호텔에는 수영장이 있을 듯 하지만, 호텔 밖에서 시간을 보내기 위해 가는 것이나 가격에 대해서는 잘 모르겠어요. 구글 지도에는 그랜드 프린스 호텔 다카나와가 시나가와 역에서 가깝게 보여요. 이것이 진정 진실이라고 해도 도보로 언덕을 오르고 예상치 보다 훨 씬 오래 걸려요. (한 여름에 5-10분, 하루종일 도쿄를 걷고 걷고 나면 전혀 재미있지 않아요.) 사쿠라 타워워 정원을 지름길로 관통할 수 있고, 또는 호텔과 지하철 역을 아침 8시 부터 저녁 9시 까지 30분 마다 왕복하는 프린트 호텔 셔틀 버스를 사용할 수 있어요. 호텔 밖으로 나가기 위해 버스를 타려믄 미리 예약해야 한다는 것을 명심하세요. 지하철역에서는 걸어가서 잡아 탈 수 있지만요. 근처에는 타카나와 쪽으로 음식점, 편의점, 푸드 코트, 쇼핑몰이 꽤 있어요. 시나가와 역 안쪽에는 괜찮은 음식점들이 많아요. Eiffel 타워 같은 타워와 도쿄의 스카이라인이 보이는 14층의 객실을 얻었다. 정원은 예쁘고, 내가 묵었던 다른 Prince 호텔보다 객실이 컸다. 아침 뷔페는 더 비쌌다. 만약 짐을 가지고 있다면 Shinagawa 역까지 걷는 것은 고통일 것이다. 내가 떠날 때 알게 된 것은 Shinagawa 역까지 호텔 셔틀버스가 있다는 것이다. (무료로??).

Additionally if you find yourself in the misfortunate position of staying here avoid the steakhouse that is in the restaurant at all cost. The Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa is a lovely hotel situated about 8 minutes walk from the Shinagawa station, while some may feel that it is a walk you do get to walk through the wonderful views of Sakura and the garden on your return or departure. The service and hotel standard is very high, as with most Japanese hotel. Cleanliness of room is top standard. Cant really find any thing to fault at all. The location is very accessible and safe, with the Shinagawa subway station just 5 mins away. There are malls and restaurants around even for late night snack or supper.

I really enjoyed my stay. One reviewer gave me a heads up on how to enter the hotel through the sister hotel and walk through garden, Very helpful. It meant I didn"t have to climb up that hill twice a day.

The first room they had me in was small and "regular ", it ended up being very smelly and when I pointed this out to the manager I was put into a very large and very bright room where I spent the remaining 4 nights. Very nice, it is not that there is a problem every once. In a while but how one takes care of it.

It was my first time being in Tokyo and this hotel seemed cheapest for this standard. The location is not bad, it is a 5 minute walk up a hill which can be very tiring after a long day but it is in a quieter area than say Shinjuku, so depends on preference. It is close to Shinagawa station and hence, easily able to reach almost anywhere in Tokyo via […] public transport. Staff were lovely, always helpful, spoke good English and gave us advice on all of our queries. Some reviews here talked about the outdated decor, and the contrast to the lobby and it is pretty stark at first (the lobby is very very nice compared to rooms) but I wasn't fussed about it at all and overall, it was a comfortable stay. I probably wouldn't stay here if I had to pay the full price (we got a cheaper deal here) and if you are going to be spending heaps of time around Shinjuku etc as it is a 15-20 minute train ride away. 더 보기

Although it now caters to a larger clientele and competes on price, it istill offers everything one expects of a top class hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the service is excellent and the location in walking distance of Shinagawa Station and subway is unbeatable. My wife and I have come here for years and we continue to enjoy the place.

Lovely stay at Takanawa. Business center isn't great though. It is a coin operated computer and I never figured out how to print. Breakfast was fabulous, but pricey. Other meals were great too. Very close to subway and they have a convenient shuttle. Good option for Tokyo!

It was much too short. Room was comfortably decorated in traditional tatami and wall hangings. Helpful staff willing to help even if they could not speak English. It would have been better if Internet access was included in the room package.

The only suggestion for the hotel staff is to provide internet service for free. It would add to the convenience of those travelers who do not have their laptop with them, and do not have coins. This hotel easily could afford it.
