Older hotel but clean and very reasonable rates.

This is a clean and well maintained hotel

This was our first time traveling with our 14 pound dashond mix. The staff was nice but came to our room to verify the dog's size. OK with us. The room was clean & the food was good. The area was quiet so no barking during the night. We were very happy with our dogs first time 'sleep over'.

Major stores, restaurants and movie theaters 3 minutes away by car. Perfect location easily found just off freeway exit. Good breakfast, although seating is limited. Idea is to show up before 8 to avoid the crowd.

When I made my booking, I had a choice for 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds. I chose 1 King bed but my room has 1 Queen bed instead. Is this the way to attract customers?

It's an older property, just basic accomodation, fine if you're looking for somewhere affordable to spend the night. Our room was comfortable and clean and the free breakfast is convenient. Our only complaint is we were woken at 2am by the occupants talking in the neighboring room - the walls are thin.

Great Front Desk Staff. Very friendly and helpful. Check in was fast and efficient.

More fresh fruit at breakfast would be a good idea. Not everyone can eat or tolerate bananas or apples. Other Best Western outlets I have stayed at offer more selections. The carpets do need cleaning. The room reeked of body odor when I walked in so that I had to open the window to air it out for an hour or so

As always, this hotel chain has provided quality for the price. Free parking, free continental breakfast, free WiFi, quick check in and clean rooms. The only draw back for us were the beds. They were hard as rocks and not very comfortable.

We wanted to stay close to Alderwood Mall for Black Friday shopping extravaganza. Great location. Nice friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Room was a little older i.e. bathtub hasn't been updated. Mattress was comfortable, wifi worked great.

I was totally impressed with all aspects of the hospitality shown to us at this Inn. I said this to the receptionist in Tacoma Dome about service at both Inns. I stayed her and thought this place is very outdated as a competing Hotel. The Hotel itself was older and very dated. The hallways smelled very badly. The room overall was nice and clean but the bathrooms are outdated and there was no hot water at 5:00am. The front desk people were lovely but they sure make a lot of noise in the hallways jangling keys and talking loud. I was on the first floor and it was very noisy between the staff noise and the doors banging day and night.

Staff was great -- like a family. Hotel in good location and clean. Continental breakfasts were very good, although variety from day to day would be appreciated.

I inadvertenly left a small personal item at the hotel and thought it might have been left in the room. I called and notified and was assured to received a follow up call the next day as housekeeping had already left for the day. The call did occure as promised and the item was actually found in the lobby area next to the guest computers. The office […] staff carefully packed it in an envelope and prompty sent in back to me. Don't believe what you see in the pictures. This is an incredibly rundown hotel. The condition of the carpet and linens will make your skin crawl. Breakfast is only carbs (waffles, fruit, cereal, toast, pastries, juice). If I hadn't already pre-paid via Expedia, I would have walked out of this place and gone somewhere that felt safe.

Stayed here with all our out-of-town family. they put all our rooms next to each other (as we requested)! Breakfast was great--free and a variety of choices! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent stay, fun in the pool and easy access to walking neighborhoods

A painfully obvious older facility from the exterior. Room was cramped and small, bath facility was only a showerstall, no tub. The bathroom was questionably clean - I suppose one could be kind and suggest that it reflected the building's advanced age. Staff were not overly helpful. On a shopping trip to the Alderwood Mall and stayed one night the nearby Best Western hotel. Room was very nice and I liked the fact there was a king bed and small lounge area instead of two queen size beds. Never got to the complimentary continental breakfast as we hit the busiest time and there was a long line-up for the food so we didn't wait.

if not an early riser make sure you are not on the path to the breakfast room because the elephants are noisy. Ask for a room away from the front desk. Other than that had a great stay

While hotel location, staff & ammenities were good, the overall experience was not quite up to par. I had reserved a non-smoking room (which I received) but at some point the room must have had smoking permitted as there was a pervailing smell of stale smoke combined with pet odors - so not the most appealing. As well, though the room appeared clean, […] the toilet did not flush properly and there were mold stains in the tub/shower. Best Western-Alderwood, Foot prints in shower, mold in shower, half empty shampoo bottle. Changed rooms only to find lights not working properly!! No wonder they didn't ask "how was your stay" when we checked out. We will not be back!!!

Room smelt musty--non-smoking--but may have been smoking in the past. Linens need updating--not sure if bedspread etc. was as clean as it could have been. Jacuzzi sprayed water all over the room when turned on

Overall the hotel was okay. We were disappointed that the hallways smelt like smoke and the floors are very thin - heard people walking upstairs from 5 am on.

Staff were most helpful particulaly when it came to providing a comfortable bed fitting a very tall person.

Very clean rooms with everything you need. Breakfast is pretty standard - muffins, fruit, hardboiled eggs, toast and waffles. TV's in the room are a little old but didn't use it much. Great location - close to the highway and easy to get to. Free guest laundry was nice. Fantastic hotel for the price.

Close to Alderwood mall and I-5. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good continental breakfast with waffle bar (nice touch) Though the room was small it had a mini fridge and microwave, one cup coffee maker. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Alderwood. The kids had fun in the pool, and the hot tub warmed them when it got chilly. The continental breakfast was wonderful. They were right on top of low juice containers, etc. We'll definitely remember them for our next trip.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel. Friendly helpfull staff. Adjacent to the Alderwood Mall and some great restaurants nearby (Red Lobster, Olive Garden). Good coninental breakfast in the morning and has a nice outdoor pool/patio for relaxing.
