JW 메리어트 호텔 바이 더 갤러리아 (JW Marriott Hotel by the Galleria) - 휴스턴

This is a beautiful hotel. Ask for a corner room with a city view. Hotel staff were exceptionally friendly. Restaurants were pricey but food was very good. Had to ask for a refrigerator in room and could not get a microwave. Overall it was an excellent hotel and would stay there again without hesitation.

Loved everything about it except that they charge for WIFI. Valet parking was a bit overboard in cost. Staff was excellent.

with a very small entrance . we stayed there to attend a seminar..2 were put on at once and valet parking in a extremely limited space for 5 to 600 people will not work..then before these 2 crowds cleared another one started... parking nightmare and staff was overwhelmed...maybe simply give a little time between events...kid a door trying to push credit […] cards was rude and more rude.. off site parking gate would not open and getting in and out was a night mare..don't stay here 더 보기

The only thing missing was a complimentary coffee station in the morning. I ended up having to pay for my coffee at the second floor restaurant.

Stayed here for one night, the wives had a great time at the galleria (within walking distance) and the guys got to play golf close by. This spot was in the middle of all the action. Go ahead and valet park, its worth it. Room was great and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Great room, service,location and breakfast. Fee for parking somewhat steep but for the location I guess reasonable. Would recommend.

I have stayed at other J.W. Marriott hotels that were absolutely 5 star but this one is lacking slightly. However, the price was not 5 star so really can't complain too much. However, I would be disappointed if I had paid more, so for that reason, I must be honest for the benefit of others who might stay when the price is higher. The hotel appears […] to be older and a bit worn, i.e carpet, walls, etc. Although there are 5 elevators, they are extremely slow and it was a longer than average wait every time. The room layout was strange especially in the entry/bathroom area. The bathroom vanity was outside the actual bathroom and both felt cramped while there was a large entryway adjacent which felt like a big waste of space. The bed was very firm...a personal dislike. But I called guest services and they were quick to bring up a mattress topper which help somewhat. And there was only one small window in the room with a less than stellar view. The good....location, location, location. Literally across the street from the Galleria with quick highway access. Tons of shopping and restaurants to chose from. And the service was 5 star. Quick, early check in, and the valet and doormen were on the spot all the time. Car was always right in front by the time we got downstairs even though they appeared to be pretty busy all the time. The kids enjoyed the pool. All in all, for a good price, we would definitely stay with them again. 더 보기

Great service, love the fact that breakfast goes on until midday! Lovely bedding and linens and very comfortable. Overall very nice place with friendly staff.

Thank you for being so hospitable. We had a wonderful stay. We were there for a dance contest for 2 days and everyone was so helpful. I would recomment this hotel to everyone. Thanks again.

There is no refregirator in the room. The toothbruch and cap are not include. Parking in the grage spent $17 a night. It's bad!

Great hotel experience. The CPE I was attending was next door, and it really was a very nice hotel. Galleria across the street provides excellent dining/shopping options, and in October it was a very walkable area. I could see the walk being miserable in the summer with Houston heat being what it is. The staff were excellent, and the room was well designed. […] The only reason I did not 5 it is because it was not the most comfy room or the best view I have ever had. That is reserved for 5s. 더 보기

The hotel is centrally located and the accomodations and service were very good. As expected in all the JW Marriotts we have stayed at.

Great room but very bad music in the restaurant. Charged a parking fee but I had no car. Lots of loud Teenagers in the lobby... Would not recommend this hotel. Big and unpersonal, just was close to where my meetings were.

I have stayed at many of the Hiltons, Sheraton's, Ritz Carlton Hotels and I must say this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed. The fitness center is amazing and can keep all those interested in the fitness center busy for awhile. The pool is somewhat smaller than I had expected as half is indoors and the other half is outdoors. Everyone should […] do self-parking, it is not worth $27 to have someone drive your car around the block unless you just don't want to walk downstairs in the garage. Self parking is $17. There is also no coffee maker in the rooms because there is a Starbucks downstairs selling coffee for $5 a cup. Other than this, the rooms were extremely clean and the service was first class. I would highly recommend this hotel. Oh, one more thing is the location on a very busy street so in order to gain access to the galleria across the street you will have to cross 4 lanes and hang a u turn, somewhat annoying. 더 보기

Great staff and room. Only thing I would suggest is they need a roof top bar for their roof top pool. No spa here ladies but they have a agreement with Nordstroms across the street at the Galleria. Over all great place and nice folks there!

My 14 year old sister and I went to this hotel for a mini-vacation during Memorial day Weekend. It was awesome! It was within walking distance from mall and a Walgreens was even closer! The gym was clean and had enough for us to get a good workout, and the pool (located on the fifth floor) was a nice place to have a little impromptu pool party. One […] of my things about staying at a hotel (even Hilton) is that the floors have too dizzy of a design and the housekeeping and other people are so noisy in the morning. This hotel was the opposite! Great colors scheme, fast elevators, and very quiet in the morning. Also, the beds were so comfortable. I could not say enough about this place. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat. Also, i am in my late twenties, and there was plenty of things to do for two girls who like to eat, shop, workout and relax! 더 보기

Spectacular location! Galleria mall is literally right across the stress. It would take you 2 minutes to walk there, which is great because the parking is atrocious in Houston. Large large room, comfy bed, huge tv, newly done bathrooms. We ordered room service and the food was absolutely delicious. I mean, even better than some restaurants I've eaten […] at. Staff was super friendly and so helpful. Also there was a Starbucks in the lobby which was awesome!! I loved being able to get up and get a latte in the morning. Parking was super convenient. Just park downstairs in their attached basement and ride the elevator up to the lobby. Nothing but wonderful things to say about my stay. I would definitely recommend that anyone stay here. 더 보기

it was grear experience i recommened this hotel for all to stay in it.

We enjoyed our stay throughout. Highly recommended: Chef at breakfast is great, Room Service is swift and gracious, Front Desk is top-notch!

Hotel accomedations were very nice. Pool though it says indoor/outdoor-has about 5 feet indoor the rest is out door. Also beware, we were told valet was $29 for your entire stay, actually $29 per night. You can park in the hotel garage for $17 per day.

The Hotel was very nice and very comfortable. The only downfall was our room was by the elevator therefore we heard everyone who got on or off the entire night along with the elevator. I think that the $17 a day parking should have been included in the price since there really isn't much parking anywhere else !!!

Excellent location for our business trip, excellent service but staff failed us over the parking of our car!

It was a good deal but not a 4.5 star hotel. It was just a Marriott. The room finishes, room amenities and towels etc. are nothing special. Standard Marriott bathroom.

The hotel gave a high dollar luxury experience for a reasonable price. The staff was kind and helpful. I couldnt ask for a better experience.

Everything was outstanding at this hotel. All hotel staff provided excellent service with the exception of one desk clerk. With that said, it was a great experience.

We stayed at this hotel on our last day of a 2 week holiday. We had had a very bad experience at the Omni in San Antonio with a very noisy group so asked for a quiet room. The staff gave us two super rooms, quiet and beautifully clean. The bathroom was a decent size too. We wanted to do a bit of shopping on our last day before returning to the UK […] and it was ideally situated just across the road from the Galleria shopping mall. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the service impecable. We enjoyed a couple of hours around the roof top pool - a great area. Although we didn't have time to use the gym it was superbly fitted out with every kind of equipment you could possible want. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel and would recommend it unresevedly. It was a pleasure to stay there. 더 보기
