I was here for a short stay for work. I can't comment on breakfast, as I was working nights. The surrounding area lacked any entertainment short of driving 20 minutes. The room was what was to be expected. Simple but clean. As other reviewers had suggested, the AC was a bit on the loud side and seemed to run a lot but was nothing that was so bad that […] it kept anybody awake. It was exactly what I expected for the price... not brand new, but clean, in good shape, helpful staff, and no hassles.

Very loud when planes and the building shook when planes flew over.

The staff was very friendly i got there at 130 pm check in wasn't till 3 pm and they got me in within 30 minutes. Will stay again

Loved the room. Employees were nice. Tv looked good. Good continental breakfast. Over all very nice. I would definitely stay here again

We found hotel very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. Was very close to the Billy Graham Libary.

La Quinta North, is convenient and close to the airport(Charlotte,Douglas Intl. Airport). It is clean, the staff is friendly and professional. In our case, the hotel was ¨pet-friendly¨, which was essential to us...and the prices are economical.

Good location and price. It was a stop over for one night to travel on to other place. Good hotel for a night stop over.

My experience at this hotel was not good. First of all, the room had a very musty, sour smell and our personal can of air freshener didn't really work. But more importantly, our room was closest to the lobby and the FRONT DESK CLERK and SECURITY GUARD were out there talking extremely loud between four and five in the morning. My husband had to go out […] and complain. They apologized but when he got back to the room, it still took a few minutes for the conversation to end. We couldn't even go back to sleep. Lastly, I understand there a was a dog show in the area and many guests had animals with them but one would think the hotel would pay more attention when cleaning the areas. The hallways smelled like dog the entire day and night. Otherwise, the rate was fair and the room was clean but smelly. I would not stay there again. 더 보기

Enjoyed my stay at LaQuinta. It was quiet. Customer service was great. Originally, I got a smoking room, but the front desk had no issue with changing us to non-smoking (it was a little too smokey). The price was great, and the flat screen tv and channels were great.

The wake-up calls we requested were 15 to 30 minutes tardy on all ocassions. The service help at the breakfast bar was very good..

Friendly service, usual expected LaQuinta (and that's good), ok breakfast, very good value for the money.

Maybe it was the shower curtain, but there was a strong mildew odor in the bathroom. It was almost overpowering. The airport shuttle was prompt. The neighborhood was sketchy.

I will definitely stay again. Comfortable room and great service.

Resvered a room with King Bed and was given a room with two double beds, I paid extra and was not reimbursed. Room was clean but old.

I've stayed at MANY LQ's in the past... this facility was a the lower end. Would not stay there again.

this La Quinta was clean and close to the airport. someone was smoking in the 4th floor hallway but our room was fresh. We would only recommend this hotel for a brief , low budget stay.

Great staff and we appreciated the prompt shuttle service to the airport.

I took my daughter to the airport and the shuttle service was perfect. The staff was helpful and polite.

This hotel suited my desires of proximity to the airport at a budget price. I arrived late and left early, my comfort was met very adequately, and keeping in mind the budget price, the room was decently up-to-date and clean. There was a funky smell when first entering as mentioned in other reviews, but upon turning up the heat it seemed to fade quickly […] and was not bothersome beyond the initial entrance. The neighborhoood is not top notch, but that area near the airport is not in general, and I had no problems in that regard in either my late arrival or early departure. The only eyebrow lifter was that at my late arrival the main front entrance was locked, the desk clerk was on the phone and did not buzz me in, but a person was leaving the premises so I was able to get in as he left so I could wait in the lobby until the clerk was available. 더 보기

Lobby was clean and nice. Employees pleasant. Hotel had a sewer smell each evening around 5. Went away quickly. Failed to clean my room on the second day of a 3 day stay. Location great at Airport, but twice in the morning when I was leaving the convienent store acrossed the street required police help.

Clean, great staff, apparrently security was an issue but we had a great time. Good deal for the accomodations better than I thought I could get for the price perhaps that is because its a quiet suburban place. Nice places to eat nearby. Give this a try, I'm glad i went.

The first room I was given was all the way at the back of the hotel at the end of the hall. The bathroom was dirty with hairs in the tub and toilet and the wireless Internet didn't work that far away from the front of the hotel. We stayed for one night while on a trip to Charlotte and we were very surprised at how clean and nice the hotel and rooms were. I have stayed at nicer hotels and had a much different experience. The breakfast the next morning was really nice and included waffles, bagels/toast, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal. I didn't really have any issues with this hotel. The room was clean, and I thought the staff was really quite professional. There were no staff members eating the guest breakfast, and the breakfast attendant spoke fluent English and was very efficient in keeping the food items replenished and the eating area clean. I was happy with my stay.

The hotel itself is a good place, with courteous & competent staff. Check-in was quick, and they let me check in early, since they had a room ready. Room was clean, and there were plenty of pillows on the bed. Rather limited number of channels on TV, but that may be a bit nit-picky. Breakfast was the usual: coffee, juice, assorted pastries. Very clean and up to date hotel. Just there was no microwave and refrigerator.

The hotel was commiserate with the price that we paid and it was very convenient to the airport. The bed was fairly comfortable, breakfast was about average. The room was overly hot when we first arrived but we turned the heat to A/C and it quickly cooled. Overall not a bad price for the quality.

I've stayed at this hotel several times for business travel and once for pleasure. Location is good and not far from uptown. I will be staying here again.

Good location to I-85 etc. Room was good, staff friendly and helpful.
