Great View, Courteous staff, great breakfast, beautiful surroundings.

Staff were excellent, helpful and courtieous. Traditional Mexican lodgings, very clean, dinner was better than expected. Rooms require some upgrading including, WiFi connections, bathrooms and bed, but were spacious and the view of Guadalajara from the large deck was exceptional. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful landscape of nature and tropical plants. It is very tranquil. The staff are great and the food is excellent. The staff is very attentive and courteous. My new husband and I went on our honeymoon and really liked our stay at the Tapatio Hotel. It was a recommendation from our wedding photographer who is from Guadalajara. It is up on a mountain and has an amazing view of Guadalajara. Our room was very big, with a table and chairs, iron, minifridge, tub and balcony. The bed however was very hard. We did […] not like that we could hear the train horn every couple hours all night long. We liked that they had an internet cafe and that we could print there. The pool is very big but it was NOT clean and we could not swim in it. They have volleyball and a bunch of other fun things on site if you go with your family. It is too far from anything to walk anywhere and the taxis will charge you $10 or more to go anywhere close. They have 2 nice restaurants, the one we ate at was open til 1am with a piano player that set a nice romantic mood. We were alittle confused as to why we were given a room at the far end of the hotel as we were one of the only people staying there, but I assume its because we made an online reservation and so the room was cheaper. Room service was great, the only thing i didnt like was that our room key didnt work when they left we had to get a new key every day. THE HOTEL TAPATIO CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT, EASY WAY OUT OF GUADALAJARA.

Big rooms, greatest view of the city, away from noise, good service and food. bumpy cobble stone road to the hotel. Not too easy to get back on the highway due to heavy traffic.

Hotel convienent to airport and shopping. Staff was helpful and attentive. The hotel does need to be updated, air conditioning did not work the first 2 nights had to request fan and with 90+ weather you need air. Bedding has seen better days. Such great potential! Good location, nice staff. Rooms are clean and very "rustic", having a real colonial Mexican feel. Fantastic views of the city far below the hotel's location on the top of a hill. Caution: The hotel does NOT pick-up at the airport, only provides shuttle TO the airport. If touring, a car would be a must.

The hotel was nice, we were very comfortable there. However, the staff that worked there were rude and unpleasant. We were not greeted upon check-in, and when we greeted staff, they would not respond. They all had sour faces. It's not our fault they don't like their jobs.

Hotel service was great. We were greeted upon arrival and were given our keys quickly. Upon entering the room, we realized this hotel's furniture was outdated. When I say outdated I don't mean antique furniture that was supposed to be there, I mean they have the same furniture from years ago. It's old~! The outside of the hotel is nice and makes you […] think the inside is just as nice however you will be disappointed! I was not impressed at all by the cleanliness of the hotel. I moved my luggage to pull some things out and found a huge dead cockroach under my luggage. I, of course, began screaming in horror and disgust. After that, I made sure all luggages remained zipped hoping that we wouldn't bring any pets home from the hotel. The hotel's location was very convenient for us because we were flying out the next morning. That is one of the main reasons why we decided to stay here. If you are looking to be close to the city where all the attractions are, THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR YOU! It is approximately 20-25 minutes away from the main attractions in Guadalajara. Tapatio is an oasis in the middle of a busy, noisy, city. Tapatio location is wonderful for those that do not want to deal with the harsh, congested traffic or fast pace of Guadalajara and just spent time in serenity within closed walls. You have 2 restaurants, bar and a huge pool (which does need a light facelift). It is quiet place where you can take […] a leisure walk. The service is pleasant and responsive. It is a nice place to unwind. Remember this hotel is in the outskirts of the city which makes it an enjoyable change to staying in the middle of the city. 더 보기

This is a hilltop hotel close to the Guadalajara airport. They offer a free airport shuttle, which is nice. The hotel was built about 40 years ago and has not been updated since. The room (which was quite spacious) had a Mad Men era feel and not in a good way: pea green and burnt orange color scheme. The bed was uncomfortable, and there were ashtrays […] in the bathroom. Very convenient to GDL airport and local highways...but the bed was very stiff. Room service was a little strange, as I placed order at mignight, and when the tray came at 12:10 a.m., waiter said "cash", so I had to dig around for my wallet and find some pesos. This hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every area. The only letdown was the surrounding area, but once inside the grounds, it was stunning. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with fabulous views, and quiet, the staff were efficient and friendly and the grounds and pool were immaculate. It really needs a good overhaul for comfort, but the view of the city at night and old mission style charm was worth a one night stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpfull. En general el hotel está muy bien, de la habitación que se nos asignó tengo la observación para el baño, estaba muy vieja el área de la tina de baño, la llave goteaba y estaba oxidada y la regadera en pésimas condiciones, el agua salpicaba para todos lados, si el baño estuviera en óptimas condiciones el hotel sería excelente

Muy mexicano y original lleno de áreas verdes de mucha tradición y una vidria espectacular. Buena comida.

La verdad dicha es que nunca imagine encontrarme tan confortable en todos los sentidos, me encanto to el hotel, su atmósfera, amabilidad y profesionalismo de su administración y su personal que laboral […] desde camareras, meseros, administradores, etc. Y sobre todo su ubicación y fácil acceso. LAS HABITACIONES ESTAN MUY DETERIORADAS, NECESITAN URGENTE MANTENIMIENTO, LAS CAMAS SON SUPERINCOMODAS Y SALIO UN SIEMPIES DEL LAVABO.

AL ESTAR SITUADO EN UNA COLINA SUFICIENTEMENTE ALTA PARA QUE LA VISTA DE LA CIUDAD DE GUADALAJARA SEA MAGNIFICA. LO UNICO QUE NO NO ME PARECÍO ES QUE NO ME DIERON FACTURA POR LA ESTANCIA DE 2 DÍAS, ME DIJERON QUE TENGO QUE SOLICITARLA A "HOTELES.COM",
