Had a nice court yard, was nice that it was pet friendly, room was clean, but needed heavy curtains that closed all the way due to the light on the building and the nearby parking lot.

The desk staff, especially the young lady that helped us, was terrific very professional, charming, and helpful. Elena

Hallway smelled like disinfectant; bed had a sour odor to it; pillows were a very firm foam. Convenience to PDX and the shuttle/park and fly option are appealing.

The hotel isnt very fancy, but it's very close to airport and it has a bar and restaurant connected to it which is super handy when you arrive late like I did. The hotel front desk was very friendly and the young man even offered to deliver a forgotten item from the bar to my room.

Very easy Airport access. Great for early departures going east.

The hotel sits almost directly at the end of one of the runways, and if that is the active runway you will hear planes taking off until about 11pm. Otherwise, the location is very convenient if you have an early morning flight, and the shuttle is quick and easy. Comfortable beds, quiet, convenient to airport, shuttle. It was alll I was looking for.

Pros: Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and the location convienent. The restaurant next door was good. Con: The frontage road by the hotel was hard to navigate to get to the airport.

Initially the staff informed us they were changing one of our rooms from a Premium King to a Double Queen. After explaining that we ordered a double king because that's what we wanted they acquiesced. I walked down the smokey hallway to my room, and upon opening the door was greeted by two unmade beds, a dirty towel in the corner, and garbage cans […] filled to the brim. When I called the front desk it took 5-10 minutes for them to come to my room with new room keys. After going to bed, I learned in the morning that my fellow traveller was awoken at 12:30 in the morning to what sounded like a porno being shot in the room adjoining his. HOTEL NICE,WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ATTACHED RESTAURANT

My son and I stayed here and were very pleased with the front desk service! Kevin was especially helpful as I had somehow made 3 reservations for the one night and he politely canceled the two I erroneously made. Their airport shuttle service was great! We used it when we arrived, when we picked up a rental car at the airport and again when we returned […] the car. All trips had very nice and polite drivers, and they were always on time! I would definitely stay here again as the rooms were updated and had nice, comfy beds! 더 보기

I stayed at this hotel solely because of its proximity to the Portland airport and because it had a shuttle bus to the airport. The shuttle bus worked perfectly, both to and from the airport, and the personnel at the desk and in the bar were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The bedroom itself was small, but for the […] price and since my reason for staying there was solely as a short overnight layover between travel portions of my trip, it worked out perfectly, especially the shuttle bus. My only complaint was that some of the electrical outlets, which I needed to recharge my phone and iPod, did not work well. 더 보기

When staying at this Red Lion I have always felt safe and comfortable. The rooms have always been clean. Friendly Service.

The hotel was okay, it was next to the hotel, so convenience is nice. The sink was kind of plugged because the water did not flow down too fast.

The hotel was very convenient to the airport and the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that when we asked for a Pack 'n Play for our young daughter they instead had an old metal crib. She could almost climb out of it and it wasn't comfortable for her so we had almost no sleep that night. If they invested in a few Pack 'n Plays, […] it would be where we stayed every time we came to the airport. 더 보기

If you needing a quick stay near the airport - it suits the need. All staff members were great and very accommodating.

A VERY nice room, and a reasonable rate. A little far from town but close to the airport. Though it was close to the airport it was a quiet room, and for us the biggest plus was that they were pet friendly so our dog was able to stay for a small fee. Nice people, too, from the front desk to the janitors.

Hotel is somewhat dated, but very convenient to the airport. For the price very good value.

We just returned home two days ago from a trip to Portland to see my terminally ill daughter. Of course it was an extremely stressful and emotional trip for us all, but The Red Lion was a hotel we could return to and have no worries and get a much needed good night's sleep. This is my third stay at this hotel and I would recommend it highly. The rooms […] are clean, well kept, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate all. The hotel even accepts pet stay overs, which did affect our personal needs, but it did allow family to bring their pet with them when visiting from a nearby city in Washington. Whenever I return to Portland, I will immediately book with this hotel! I truly recommend this hotel with highest regards. 더 보기

I don't know why this hotel was given just 3 stars. To me it's a fiver.

I needed a hotel close to the airport that was clean and inexpensive, Red Lion fit that bill perfectly. I will be booking with this hotel the next time I'm in Portland.

The beds are the BEST! Whenever I travel using the Portland Airport, I always stay here because I know I'll get a good nights sleep in their wonderful beds.

We needed a place to stay while visiting family in Oregon. Red Lion was very clean, quiet (even though it's close to the airport) and comfortable. It is wonderful to stay in a clean hotel that welcomes our dog. The only negative was that I misunderstood and thought it included continental breakfast.

Twas a nice place once settled in. I got place in a room that wasn't cleaned, but once I told the management, they placed me in another room. Overall, was nice, and clean and comfortable. I plan to stay there again, as I do pass by that way a couple of time a year...

Great value, very comfortable. Even had a fireplace with a roaring fire to greet you in the lobby. Updated furnishings and bathroom. We 6 pillows on the king bed. The furniture if fact was oversized for the room making the room seem small. The bathroom, though nice was small, the door just clears the toilet. Shower was good & hot. The beds are fabulous, and extremely comfortable. We stay there everytime we have to fly out of PDX.

At first we were placed in a room clearly smelling of cigarettes, (non-smoking) and went back to the front desk and was given a clean, new room with no problems. It was clean and comfortable.
