"Pleasantly surprised"
I found the room clean and the bed firm but reasonably comfortable. there was breakfast in the lobby. A hair dryer in the bathroom. This hotel is a very good value for the money. everything needed for an overnight stay.

This is a great location for travellers to stop for the night. The hotel is clean and comfortable and there is excellent access to restaurants and gas stations.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. I think the room was a little small but very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen in a long time. "Holiday Inn Express in Fredrick, MD"
When we first got there the man at the desk was not very helpful he was a typical nerd just into his self. When he told me our room was on the 2nd floor with no elevator I informed him that my Mom and Dad are in their 80's and it would be very hard to get up and down the steps (that was a nightmare) We got 2 rooms not just one because we each had a […] dog. The maids when trying to communicate with them they did not speak English. When they came to straighten up our room they did not leave new soap, tolite paper and did a poor job. On the internet it said the fee was $10.00 a dog and he charged us $20.00 and he said ON WELL. When I explained about the steps which were very steep and about 20 steps he just looked at me. When I asked him if there was another place to stay he said he probubly not. This whole experience was very trimatic for my Mom and Dad and I. We were trying to get away from the hurrican and with that experence we should have stayed home. 더 보기

"Frederick Holiday Express good enough"
a decent hotel but I needed a small fridge
I was disappointed with quality of room. Also, check in time through Hotel.com was listed as 2:00 pm, when I arrived I was told it was 3:00 pm. I did arrive at 1:30, but since I could not wait until 3:00, I had to take a smoking room with no refrigerator.
"Disgusting Room and Hotel"
The room was smelly and awful! The beds for a foot from the floor and lumpy and small. Old tile in the bathroom and smelled. The front is deceiving. It's a bad hotel for the money.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Many things to do in the area.

There were dogs yipping in the hall at 6am. The hall carpet had big dirt spots, which make sense realizing the hotel allows pets. The room and the breakfast were fine.

"Hotel staff great, but hotel less than average."
Great staff, but the hall was dirty, no elivator, air conditioner did not work.
"Close to Expressway, convenient"
Short trip to charming Historic downtown. Local's favorite seafood in town, May's, is very close. Room could use a mini-fridge, big ugly spot on second floor hall carpet, but room was clean. Front desk staff helpful.

Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean, everything was ready for us. The continental breakfast on Sunday morning was the BEST! We had everything anyone could ask for! Thank you, Holiday Inn!

One of the rooms had a smell to it . It brother me so much, I voild that room I think the room had water damage. Room 100 It was buy the sids door.

The hotel was located in a very convenient location to all the amentities the town had to offer; shopping, eating and entertainment. The breakfast offered a better selection than most other hotels. "Hairy situation"
The overall appearance of the room was very much like the pictures I saw online. I was pleased with that. What I was not pleased with was the bathroom. It looked like who ever cleaned behind the previous guests used a wet cloth to remove hair from the counter or floor and then used that same wet cloth to wipe the wall. It was a major turnoff to see […] someone elses hair all over the bathroom wall. Then I found hair in the shower which was clearly from a totally different person. Also, no one bothered to leave trashcan liners in the room. We had to use our own. And would I be too picky to mention that there was someones toe nail clipping on the nightstand? 더 보기
"Good For an Overnight"
Hotel was adequate. Not fancy, and that's not what we were looking for, just a place to stop on the road trip. Good breakfast.
