Front desk young guy was rude, beds were hard, shower head was dirty, it is NOT on the beach like it says, its across the street. The only way we will use this place again if it were as cheap and we needed that location. The food was very expensive and not good. Courtyard by Marriott, (the old DoubleTree), is a great hotel with an excellent staff. You would be within walking distance to fun spots in the heart of the city, and as a bonus you only need to cross the street to get to the beach.

Location, location, location! This location is fantastic - next to the beach, great restaurants, shops.

Good hotel, windows dont open. Parking rates WAY TOO HIGH.

Enjoyed our stay the hotel is within walking distance to many restuarnts , shops and boat rentals. The staff was great we are going back in May .

The hotel was clean, staff was very helpful and the location was very easy to find. We were very pleased with everything about this Marriott. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Great job Marriott. I look forward to my next visit.

This a typical, clean Courtyard. It is good for a one day stay before or after a cruise. We were looking for a much nicer hotel for a few days. It is good for party people as it is in the middle of the bar district. Not for us.

I travel a lot and it's not common for me to give five stars to a. Hotel. This one is well deserved. The location is simply excellent. Walked to a lot of nice places. The area is fun and full of great food and entertainment. The hotel is nice and cozy. Couldn't ask for more.

I enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were a little to soft for me. I would love to have a foam mattress. But all and all it was a very nice stay. Staff was friendly.

Didn't meet our expectations so we did not stay overnight.

This hotel worked out great for us. We somehow had the good fortune of getting a corner room with panoramic views with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach AND the city. the hotel staff could not be nicer, went out of their way to be helpful and always with a smile!

Staff and night manager were great. Rooms were small. We changed rooms 3 times. Management was very accommodating. The valet parking was expensive. Hotel was clean and had a great pool, computer access, restaurant, no Continental breakfast though. Overall, it is a very nice place. Once we got the right size rooms, adjoining rooms, it was great. Nice hotel, good location, easy walk on the beach from the hotel.

Hotel was OK, but not as nice as expected for the cost. My real problem was the attached restaurant. We went for breakfast, had the buffet and were really disappointed. The eggs benedict were cold, and hard boiled, other food cold and tasteless. Also very expensive for a poor breakfast. Orange Juice tasted very strange. Dealing with the manager was a pleasure, she made our family of 5 feel extremely comfortable and allowed us to check out an hour later as our flight was not leaving until 8 PM. The extra hour was wonderful for the kids. Location is amazing, pool and beach facility is nicely set up. Parking is very expensive but the valet staff were extremely friendly […] and efficient! Staff was great,location perfect.

My wife and I stayed at the courtyard for a family weekend. The location was great. Right across the street from the beach. We had a stroller so the elevator was very convienent. The guy at the front desk upgraded us without us even asking and the room was clean and lots of room. The beach was right across the street and there are so many nice places to go eat. There is also lots of shopping close by too.There is a nice area to check your email and it's free. We will stay here again when we are in Fort Lauderdale.

Other than the $28 per day valet service, which is more or less mandatory, the hotel staff provided very good service, with a smile. Very Nice Location on A1A. I loved the pool-side bar. My wife and I truly enjoyed our three night visit!

This was a perfect hotel for an afternoon on the beach. It was an easy taxi drive from the airport, and so nice to walk across the street and be at the beach. Nice to stroll the shops and grab a bite to eat or a smoothy. The room had an ocean and harbor view and was very comfortable.

hotel a bit worn but relatively clean. Overpriced continental BFast at 16.00 for cereal and bagel. Paid 25 per day for parrking and my car was parked across street off-site in non-secure location. Pool is small and in poor location. Is in shadow of building most of afternoon. We were here for just a night, but the service was great, they gave us the requested room on the 12th floor overlooking the ocean, and staff was very courteous. Valet checked our luggage at 10:00, so we could walk around the beach and go on a canal boat ride. The location was perfect, just across the street from the beach. The hotel was perfect. Right by the beach and all the shops and restaurants and bars. We loved walking every where. Will stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a spur-of-the-moment road trip from Philadelphia, PA to Ft. Lauderdale. We were extremely pleased with everything about this hotel. Very clean, perfect location. We didn't want to leave! Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won't regret it!

Nice hotell by the beach. A litle lower standard than the hotels in the aerea around. But very OK.

I stayed at this hotel for the September long weekend. Check-in was quick and I was even upgraded to Oceanview for no additional charge. Hotel staff were helpful with restaurant and transit recommendations. The hotel is in a good area for walking around - no need for a car. There is a convenience store in front of the hotel, which has all the basics. Air Conditioner needed some TLC and maintenance dept didn't seem to be able to help. The room was 78 which was warmer than we like, but overall the room and hotel was very nice.

Stayed in king suite with my 2 teenagers. The location was perfect right across from the beach, within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and bars. Steps away from 7/11 for waters/snacks to utilize in room refrigerator. Pool bar is nice to enjoy a cocktail; however they don't serve food and closes early.
