Always good, great location, Service good, clean room, only problem not enough English channels and movies on tv, good that hotel now has wifi, but should be free and no charge and available 24/7 and not charged at 24 hour intervals

Altough the hotel is quite old the rooms have been refurbished and are very comfortable. Food was very good, liked that there was only 5 floors instead of spending ages waiting for lifts up to high rise hotels.

This was the third time that I stayed at the Jin Jiang. The first was in 1986, at that time I was delighted with the restaurant and especially at the buffet breakfast and location. None of that has changed the buffet breakfast is still super with labor intensive Shanghai specialties and international breakfast . My husband loved the soup noodles in […] which fresh wheat noodles are used. He liked them so much I asked the restaurant manager if I might buy some to take home to the U.S. He went to the kitchen and presented me with a bag of noodles as a gift. Two years ago my whole family of 11 stayed at the hotel including 3 grandchildren the Concierge went out of their way to assure us of a super visit. There is also swimming pool and hairdresser on the compound. On a rainy day they will even use the golf card to take you roundtrip to the hairdresser about a block away so that your hairstyle does not get ruined. At night if you are too tired they will take you to the famous Shanghai style restaurant by goldfcart. All this done with a concern for the guests. I highly recommend the Jin Jiang Hotel in Mao Ming Road. 더 보기

Good location, old world charm and nice rooms, thats about it. Semi-warm service from staff and prostitutes in the lobby pushing massage service bring down the overall rating.

Carpet needed cleaning. No hot water in shower, although ok in tub and sink. Didn't think the staff was particularlyhelpful. But, over all, would recommend this hotel. Great location, and a very nice room overall.

This newly renovated building is lovely to say the least. However, should you need assistance getting around, the staff has a very limited knowledge of English and things, like ordering a cab to the airport prior gets lost in the shuffle. Other than that the grounds are lovely as is the French Concession area which it is situated in.

This was the first time I stayed at the Jin Jiang Hotel Shanghai but it will not be my last. Beautiful grounds and interior decor. My room was beautiful and the service was excellent. One minor issue was that the air conditioning was set at a fixed temp to save energy. This is a very attractive hotel with good facilities. We stayed in the Cathy Garden building and enjoyed it. The Cathy Building may be a bit higher end--larger rooms, etc. The pool is great. The gym is limited but OK and the sauna is to die for. We ate at China Moon, one of their many restaurants and had an excellent Chinese meal. Very clean, quiet, & helpful staff. The room was great and a comfotable bed. The suroundings and the neighborhood were a mixture of old and new Shanghai. The shopping district was just a block away. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The one thing a hotel must provide for me is a comfortable and peaceful sleep. The Jin Jiang is a very old building and is situated next to 2 busy roads and they had not invested in sound proof windows in the King Size room I stayed in. The old single pane windows didn't keep the sound out! I was very disappointed to be woken up by the traffic several […] hours before I needed to be awake. I was also disappointed that breakfast wasn't included in the high cost of the room, and more disappointed that it wasn't communicated to me until I was loading my breakfast plate. This is my second time stay at the historic Jin Jiang. Professional service (rare to find for hotels in china), comfortable and clean room. Only complain is, taxi drop me off at the north tower and turns out my room is at the south tower and it was quite a walk with heavy luggage in the summer heat. South Tower has it's own check-in reception. Hotel […] could have help me with the luggage or give me a ride with their golf cart. Check which tower ahead and ask the taxi to drop you off at the right building! Breakfast buffet is also very decent. 더 보기

The location and quality of rooms was terrific. I've paid three times as much for far less nice a hotel. However, the staff is very unhelpful. English might be part of the problem, but it was also as if questions about transportation or the area were an intrusion. I never once saw the concierge at his desk.

Customer service in China is simply not at the same level as it is in other countries in the region - having just come from Hong Kong and Singapore, I would not describe this as four star service by any stretch. The facilities were nice enough, if a bit run down. The staffs' English and Japanese language skills were passable. The Jin Jiang Hotel is ideally located in the French Concession. It is 60 yards from the entrance to the Metro and right next to the HuaiHai Rd, one of the trendy shopping streets of Shanghai. There are taxis in the area at all times, and there is a wide choice of restaurants both within the complex and within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. The hotel […] is actually a complex of 3 hotels walled-in from the street with 2 secure entrances enjoying lovely, peaceful gardens. Most rooms overlook the gardens and therefore are very quiet. The staff all speak English and are corteous and attentive. The hotel appeals more to those wanting a warmer old-world charm than those requiring a modern glitzy hotel (which the Jin JIang is not). However, all facilities are up to date, just decorated in classical style. It is an ideal business hotel, generally available at moderate cost through hotels.com and I use it as my base whenever I go to Shanghai, which is frequently. It is of excellent standard, perfectly situated, close to transport links, and everyone knows it (not even too difficult to prononunce for a non-chinese when giving directions to a taxi driver). 더 보기

Overall the hotel is fine. However 2 big problems. We paid for a room with a garden view and twin beds and when checking in, were given a room with frosted windows looking onto a dirty back alley. We were then told that the rooms with garden views only had single king size beds. We were charged the higher rate just the same. This hotel has a super location, hidden away off Huaihai Rd in it's own compound, almost like a university. Attractvie views of the Nanjing Rd skyscrapers. Friendly and helpful staff, all with excellent English - even the doormen. Good food, prompt service, all in all I couldn't recommend a hotel more.

Lovely hotel, very no-nonsense but quietly luxurious, nothing flamboyant. Service is non-intrusive. Air con doesn't work too well...and the rooms are not very sound proof, so you can hear people walking up and down. Rooms and linen very clean...and one of the few smoke free experiences in China!

Detta var min tredje vistelse på JinJiang Hotell och det kändes nästan som att komma hem när jag checkade in (i The Garden house). Läget på hotellet kan inte bli bättre, det ligger 100m från HuaiHai Rd (om man vill ha hight street shopping) och Shaanxi Metro station (linje 1 och 10) . Ytterligare ligger Changle Rd som är känd för sina små designbutiker […] 150m i andra riktningen... läget kan helt enkelt inte bli bättre om du ska till Shanghai. Hotellet i sig är fördelat över flera byggnader som ligger runt en park som nästan blir som en oas från trafik och storstadsstress (vilket det är gott om i Shanghai). den ända negitiva jag kan komma på är att priserna för hotells tjänster (då menar jag inte rumspris utan roomservice, internetuppkoppling, frukost mm) ligger lite i överkant. Men med tanke på läget så finns gott om andra prisvärda alternativ i området för frukost, internet mat mm. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell 더 보기

上海錦江酒店地點方便, 飯店鄰近H&M ZARA 等店 距離地鐵站出口僅兩分鐘十分方便, 入住錦北樓房間翻修過設備很新, 房間空間很大, 老建築新裝潢很有FU的一家老飯店. 下次再去 優先考慮再入住!

宿泊した南楼のネット環境について報告します。客室には有線ＬＡＮがあり、1日90元で利用できます。WI-FIはロビー等共用エリアで無料で利用可能です。私はWI-FIルータを持参し、客室内で利用していましたが、2日目にホテル側に発見され、LANの接続を解除されました。。ホテルによればルータの使用は禁止されているとのことですが、どこにもそのような注意書きはありません。ただ交渉により、結果的には使用を認めてもらいました。

２家族で宿泊しました。 広くてストレスも無く良かったです。

着いた日が雨のせいでもあたっがチェクインしてから再度移動しようとしたが、タクシーがまったく来ず、また、ホテルの人に頼んでも、ただ、待ってて下さいとのこと。聞いた所、周辺部はタクシーが少ないとのことでした。空港に行く場合でも、タクシーは待機していませんでした。待たずに、またすぐ手配して欲しい。

地下鉄も近くて、ホテルオークラはオプション等便利です。ホテルらしくない門を入ると幾つか建物が有って口コミを読んでいたのでガーデンと言って聞けば間違いなし。 朝食も美味しかったし部屋は広くて、夜景は無いけどバスタブ、バスロープ問題なし。又使いたいホテルです。

Hotellet har en udemærket beliggenhed. Det kan kraftigt anbefales at tage et værelse mod haven og ikke mod gården. Personalet talte stort set ikke engelsk.

クラシックホテルながら、清潔でとても過ごしやすかった。 難点は、キャセイビルディングとキャセイガーデンという2つの宿泊施設の建物が全く違うため、チェックインや待ち合せなどで混乱が起きたことと、キャセイガーデンの部屋からの眺めが全く良くなかったこと。 とはいえ、次に上海に来たら、また宿泊したいと思わせる心地よさがあります。特に外灘近くでは、あまりの人の多さと騒がしさにうんざりしたので、錦江飯店の地区は落ち着いていて、ゆっくり過ごせました。

Hotellet har en flott, sentral beliggenhet. Gammelt erverdig hotel, med helt greie rom. Dårlig service i lobby, samt at det er for dårlig at det ikke finnes en ATM i bygget. Internett er på rommet er for dårlig for Skype.

Stayed for 5 days at the Hotel and was bacically pleased with the conditions and service - but be careful by visiting the Indian Restaurant connected to the Hotel. We did ask for help to a menu and we did say "Yes" to the suggestion of having Prawns - but the staff forgot to tell us that the price was more than 50 CNY each resulting in a bill that exceded […] any expectations. The Hotel staff did not help "Restaurant is another business" we were told. Our reflection is that when a Hotel open up for direct access to a Restaurant the experience in this Restaurant is a part of the concept - we are disappointed. 더 보기

We stayed for five nights in the Jin jiang hotel Cathay garden. It is a very good hotel with a special atmosphere, especially this part.
