I had a great time visiting Denver and being centrally located was a major plus. When first looking for the hotel I drove past because the parking garage wasn't clearly marked and street parking in that neighborhood is obviously a problem. The hotel appears to be a renovated apartment building which gave the suite a different feel. The layout was great […] but the furniture and decor were sub par except for the bed which was quite comfortable. Overall it was a very dated looking suite for the money. I travel 65% and stay in all kinds of places, mostly big chain. Wanted to break out of the rut and try something different, The Burnsley did exactly that. Booked a discount deal on-line, same day. Happy to see covered parking. Easy check in, only took a minute. Front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was huge... I'm sure these were […] designed to be an appartment. Bathroom was nice and clean, looked like it was recently remodeled. King size bed was super comfortable. Perhaps the best thing though was the down-town view as seen from my 9th floor balcony. Capital building straight ahead, mountains to the left. Spent time down stairs in the bar, service was great and the 1/2 price drinks were a bargain. Ordered a burger, cooked to perfection. I typically travel alone but would not hesitate at all to bring family here for a stay. You would certainly have plenty of room to stretch out. ....Happy Travels.. 더 보기

Hotel was perfect and the staff was awesome. Very warm and welcoming. And extremely gracious when it came to our emergency late check out. Martequa (forgive my spelling) in housekeeping was such an angel and went above and beyond to help us out.

Service by front desk and hotel staff that shuttled us to and from Coors Field was just fine. Hotel is a bit shopworn, could use some maintenance and updates. Otherwise it is fine.

Had a pleasant stay! We got to take advantage of the happy hour and the car service.. The front desk help was super friendly. Overall on the expensive side but the free parking and great service was worth it

I very much enjoyed my stay at The Burnsley. Recently modernized rooms in the suite were clean and comfortable; there was plenty of room for my things and to relax and feel like I was in a condo, not a hotel. They upgraded me for free to a City View, which was awesome. I could see the snow-covered Rockies and the golden Capital dome from the chair in […] the living room. Room and neighborhood was quiet, even considering the urban environment. The front desk folks were friendly, fun, and down to earth. I requested shuttle service (free withing 3 mile radius) at least once a day and they were able to accomodate me with no problem, even though the hotel was 100% booked during the 2012 Women's Final Four. I did walk the distance to the 16th Street Mall, about 8-10 blocks away, and I felt safe throughout the neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet and seems to be mainly condos and apartments. I saw a lot of joggers, walkers, and residents. There are several eateries within 4 blocks' distance: a local bar and grill, 7-Eleven, Tokyo Joe's, Panera, and much more. The hotel restaurant food was very good but a bit pricey. I received two $5 coupons for opting out of housekeeping and used those against breakfast, which made the prices more resaonable. I highly recommend The Burnsley to a traveler who is looking for a stay near Downtown that is memorable and convenient, comfortable and nicely appointed. 더 보기

I used to live in Denver and was in town for a night, which left little time to get together with friends. I invited everyone to meet me at Charlie Brown's across the street where the piano bar and food/cocktails are excellent. Great location to have drinks and cross the street to get safely back to my room, which boasted a balcony that gave me a great […] view of down town Denver. I have stayed at this hotel twice, and have had a great experience both times. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet, there is a terrific view, and for me it was an ideal location -- close to downtown. There was a full kitchen in my suite, which was great. The only draw back with this hotel is their WIFI is really weak. Everything else is good. Location is great if you need to be close to down town Denver

For being away from home, it was great to stay somewhere that made us feel so welcome like we were in their home. The penthouse was amazing and everyone in our party loved the choice of hotel we made!

Renovated apartment building, lots of space, kitchen space is a bit old (but not really needed either). Staff were very helpful and professional.

We could hear every step the people above us took. But overall it's a nice place with charm. Our room (one bedroom suite) was huge!

The room was very nice and the staff was great. Parking was slim if you came in later in the evening, however the staff was very helpful. They had us park out front and called us when a space opened up. They had also moved their cars out of spaces for people. The bathroom was a little small and out dated.

I stayed at the Burnsley for recovery for a brief outpatient surgery! It was like a home away from home! Ive stayed at just about every 4-5 star hotel in Denver but this was the best price, and size to bring myself, my partner, and our cat! They accomidated us with a large 1 bedroom apartment size room, and their staff was top notch! Not to mention […] the food service was great! They made me a fruit plate, and brought me some crackers for my stomach! Also the homeade cinnamon rolls are amazing! It truly is a home away from home, and I will continue to stay their during the rest of my stays! 더 보기

I was surprised at the wonderful layout of the suite, the balcony, the quality of the furnishings and the linens. But the best part was the friendliness and accommodating nature of the staff in the bar and lounge and the good jazz. I will certainly be back.

The Burnsley rooms are very comfortable with a full kitchen, big living room and dining room, and a new updated bathroom. Parking was easy and check-in and check-out worked flawlessly.

The Burnsley Hotel was chosen because it was near the museums. The clanging of the antiquated heating system kept me awake until I turned it off. The pillows were of very poor quailIty, somewhat like a trampoline as my head literally bounced. I couldn't even get a corner of it to allow me to sleep comfortably. The jazz band at the bar was good, but […] the characters at the next table must have been truck drivers, miners, or old men from a street corner. The room was like our own little appartment in Denver. Everyone of the staff members was great. The Shuttle was super helpful and convenient and the hotel bar and restaurant fit the atmosphere perfectly. Highly recommend the Burnsley!

The hotel is older, but clean. It is nice to have the extra space of the suite and the location is good.

The suite was nice and good in size. The kitchen was very convenient. The only problem I had was that there are not block out blinds for the living area. My son slept there and he would wake at the break of dawn because of the sun. Also, I wanted to be able to close the window at night so other could see it while we watched TV. My daughter and I did not want to be traveling the day of a predicted snowstorm, so we stayed at the Burnsley the night before a ballet in Denver. The staff was friendly and informative. Although the cafe was not open that evening, the shuttle driver took us to one of many restaurants in the area--from upscale to fast food--and also transported us back […] to the hotel. The room felt spacious, even with two king beds and a kitchenette. The alt. down comforters were fabulous! We did have to keep closed the heavy drapes over the sliding glass doors to the patio to prevent drafts due to the cold and snow outside. The view is of city streets anyway. The hotel is older, with narrower hallways and lower ceilings, but it is well maintained. There is a covered parking garage, which came in handy since 6 inches of snow fell that night. We were told that if you eat in the Burnsley dining room, the staff will transport you to downtown events and bring you back to the hotel so that you can avoid the parking fees and hassles. We did not need or use that service, but it is an example of how the staff tries to accomodate the needs of their customers. 더 보기

We visited on New Year's Eve, so there was a lot of activity in general. Our first room assignment was rather plain, but large and clean. Basically, it was one large room with a kitchen at one end. We noticed a water stain on the ceiling over the bed, however, and upon further inspection discovered that it was an active leak. The bed was soaked, and […] there was a slow drip. After several visits from maintenance and housekeeping, the desk staff decided to move us to another suite, which was also an upgrade. That room was very nice--basically a small, well-appointed apartment. I would highly recommend that upgrade, if you can afford it (we weren't charged extra; I don't know if that was because of our trouble, or because all the smaller rooms were taken). The only other issue was with the inflatable extra bed we requested; the hotel actually charges extra for that, and the bed they gave us had a slow leak, which meant that it had to be re-inflated repeatedly throughout the night. Again, they did take that off our bill due to the inconvenience. To sum it up: it's a charming hotel, and the upgraded suite was very nice. The location is convenient (easy walk to downtown, 16th Street mall, Denver Art Museum, State Capital, etc.). On the down side, it's an old hotel, so I suppose issues are going to arise. The hallways are very narrow and dark, so if you need spacious and elegant public spaces you might not like it. All of the staff were very nice and friendly. I'd recommend it to my more adventurous friends, or anyone looking for a more "urban" experience. 더 보기

Good value and decent quality room plus the free shuttle service was handy. However, a couple of weeks after checking out the hotel had randomly charged me $50. Eventually this was paid back as 'their mistake' but I wonder how many of these 'mistakes' get made.....

I was pleased with the hotel. It was beautiful. I was very happy with a balcony and full kitchen/ living space. Service was friendly. Unfortunately there was NO parking within 2 blocks of the hotel. I called the front desk twice for clean towels and they never brought any up. On top of that on the last night I stayed, I found a cockroach ALIVE behind […] the toilet. The hotel is a converted tenant building so the rooms have the space, layout and amenities of an apartment. My room had a generous kitchen, dining area, living space with a comfortable couch, balcony, and a nice size room with a very plush bed. Definitely a great place if your in toen on business. Just a few minutes south of downtown and about 10 minutes […] north/west of Glendale which has great shopping and plenty of restaurants. This hotel is not like in the picture, that hotel kind of old, kitchen is not usable. but overall not bad.

Staff was super friendly and everything was great, just sad the room had no couch and only a small chair

My friends and I were so excited to stay at this hotel! We got a great deal on the room and the hotel offered great service. The location was very convenient as well!

Horrible hotel, do not make the mistake of staying there. Could not bear the old musty smell. There is a difference between historical and run down, the burnsley is not historical.

Staff is Verry Verry friendly and helpful. Rooms are great and clean. The only thing that would b a downfall would be that they need to update the kitchen. Besides that A++++++

Stayed here for 2 nights before New Years and it was our best hotel experience ever. The staff was AMAZING. The views were great. The neighbor hood was safe and we were completely comfortable walking downtown and back. We enjoyed the walk downtown but it may be too far if the weather was crappy.... but that's okay, they have a complementary shuttle […] with a 3 mile radius from the hotel. The only thing that was unappealing was the outdated kitchen. We WILL stay here again. The last night we were in town we switched hotels to the Hilton Garden Inn.... It was a totally bummer compared to the Burnsley. Yeah, the Hilton was clean and modern, but it wasn't nearly as comfortable nor did it have as much personality. 더 보기

This hotel is located about three quarters of a mile south of downtown Denver. However, hotel staff will gladly take you in the hotel van to places you may need to go within a few miles radius. Having a suite of rooms is luxurious, and the view was spectacular. Having a full kitchen saved a lot of money on food. A complete grocery store is about nine […] blocks away. 더 보기
