very relaxing. loved the staff and their attention to the customers.

The hotel was nice and it was clean, however I'm not sure I would categorize it as a 4 start hotel. My bathroom at home was nicer. The people at the front desk were not at helpful and knowledgeable as I thought they would be. I asked about things to do two times..once when I checked in and go no response, and once when I checked out and got plenty of […] response! They do offer shuttles, as long as you plan to ride around the hotel. They do offer great food and a classy casual bar, however it was empty every time I went. Being a resort I would have expected more people, especially at night, to hang out. Unfortunately there was none. Overall, it was ok, but I think I wanted more. 더 보기

Need to tell people about the bar at the top of the facility...what a waste. Need entertainment up there!

There are at least 2 bldgs that are NOT updated...that's where I got to stay. There was a scorpion in the bathroom sink on the 2nd morning. Management said, "We are in THEIR habitat!". I was able to switch to a different room that had been upgraded, but it was not plush nor comfortable. Both of my rooms were the Presidential Suite King. The fireplaces […] did NOT have tools, nor wood, so that was a waste. Very spacious unit, but cold and not plush. I will never stay here again, nor recommend it to others. 더 보기

I read all the reviews very closely and some of them scared me off. Don't hesitate, this was a great resort and we had a great time. I saw alot of families there with young kids and they all seemed to be having a great time. We went to the main pool and had drinks at the pool and it was so pleasant and wonderful. The waiter at the pool was great. There […] are two hot tubs at the main pool. The room was super great, very comfortable beds and clean. My husband thinks the decor is a bit dated. I really didn't get that. Do not miss the restaurant at the top of the resort, it is called a different point of view. It is expensive, but you can go up there and have a drink on the out door patio. We loved it so much we went there both nights. The food was great and worth the price. Another super great surprise that we enjoyed was a shuttle to take you everywhere and we had a great little pool right outside our room with a hot tub. So we could go to the main pools which were very festive or go to the pool right near our room which was quiet and secluded. Really this was such a pleasant place to go for spring break. the parking situation is very crowded. i had to park quite far from my room a few nights. also i was quite disappointed that the restaurants and most places to eat closed so early and opened so late, making long lines for the one place that was open. i realize the hotel was full but that's no excuse to staff the restaurants.

We loved the hotel, and really appreciated the kind and helpful staff. Make sure to take advantage of the hikning trails. The pool at the workout facility was really nice and had the warmest jacuzzi on the property.

Everything was great, we enjoyed the Sunset pool and had wine at the restaurant overlooking the city. Parking at night was difficult due to lack of spaces. The staff was extremely friendly.

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort exceeded our expectations. The resort was gorgeous; especially the falls pools! The multi-level grounds could be a challenge for someone with disabilities, but were especially unique and scenic. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. Our adult children were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the hide a bed, which are typically very uncomfortable! The mattress was thick and very good quality. Amenities like pool usage after checkout was an added bonus! One negative is the $9.95 daily charge for internet usage. Really, with a hotel of this caliber, you'd expect it to be included. 더 보기

Although we did enjoy the golf we were overcharged by well over 250% of what we were quoted before we made the reservation.

From the pictures, I was expecting a much nicer resort. The overall feel was very cramped, with narrow streets and difficult parking. The worst part was that for what we paid for the room, we certainly didn't expect to pay extra for use of the exercise room and wireless from our room. When we tried to access the Internet from the lobby, it was extremely […] slow. The location is not close to any very good restaurants, so I think a lot of people settle for eating at the resort restaurants. We sometimes had to wait a full 3-4 minutes for hot water. The jacuzzis were lukewarm with very weak jets. On the plus side, the workers we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated easy access to the hiking trails. 더 보기

The main falls pool this time was near freezing, uncomfortably cold to get in despite the 84 degree weather outside. We didn't get in but maybe once in the three days we went to the pool. This hotel was a little far up 7th St. but it intrigued my curiosity with the setting in the mountain. Parking there can be a little tricky but we enjoyed our stay immensely. We we there for 5 nights and there with the Reds for spring training. After we learned the different ways to jump on the interstate, depending on which direction that we were heading […] that day, it was not too far north for us. It only took us about 35-40 minutes to get to Goodyear. We went to Sedona one day and it was on the way up to there. I highly recommend that as a day trip if you have never been there. It is gorgeous. Red rocks & mountains. It took my breath. As for the resort, the restaurants were very good. The view from the top, A different point of view, is next to none. We even walked up there and it definitely is a good workout just getting to the top of the hill. I would definitely go back there if we return for spring training or even just going back to Phoenix! We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at the Different Pointe of View restaurant - beautiful views, attentive service, excellent food. Take the hotel shuttle if you decide to go - it is a long way up, The various pools distributed throughout the property provided respite from the action at "The Falls" waterpark. Thoughtful touches such as reading lamps on […] both sides of the bed and a magifying mirror in the bathroom were appreciated. We only stayed 2 days at this resort but, I sure wished we would of stayed longer. We had a little trouble with our room when we first arrived but, the front desk took care of it right away by moving us and upgrading our room. It was awesome. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this resort to all our family and friends.

This hotel is more of a resort. I was well pleased with the entire stay. Surprised by the overall size of the place and the well maintained rooms. The entire staff was friendly. A great experience.

The Pointe Hilton was a decent hotel to stay at. The check in personnel did a great job and the hotel service was very friendly and supportive. The hotel looks beautiful from afar but up close this majestic lady needs a serious facelift. Chipped paint, nonfunctioning outlets, stained chaise lounges, old TVs in the gazebos, smelly corners near the pool... The Falls is icky - too many people, loud music, smells unclean, dated furniture... I mean, who would pay for those old gazebos that are […] chained off. The Falls area looked like a sad Cancun Spring Break destination, complete with regular PA hosts announcing bingo and other lame events. Very very tacky. The pluses - the rooms are huge - a bedroom and a sitting area. I read all the complaints on tripadvisor, and decided to book this anyhow. I'm glad I did. I think it's a great property that's fairly well-maintained (OK, they do need a new grouter). The suites are great. The pools are super. I'd definitely go back again.

We spent 5 days at Tapatio Hilton between Christmas and New Year's. It was easy to find and in a beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and comfortable except for the living room sofa. The star of the hotel is the mountain top restaurant and bar which provided us with a spectacular sunset and view of all of Phoenix. We also enjoyed sitting in the […] sun by the pools and relaxing. Our room was meticulously cleaned each day and all of our stuff was neatly arranged for us. We had never heard of this hotel but found a great deal on Hotels.com so thought we would try it. The property is beautiful with the rolling hills, mountains, and golf course. We were a little concerned with the neighborhood we drove through to get there and just kept hoping it would get better. The couch and chair were incredibly uncomfortable to sit on so we ended up barely using the "living room." Unfortunately I awoke each morning with a backache because the mattresses have absolutely no support. Also, they should get with the times and provide free wifi and put small refrigerators in the rooms as most hotels now do. We ate in the restaurant and the three of us ordered their feature entree'- a chili rubbed flat iron steak in a balsamic reduction, served with parsnips, carrots, and garlic mashed potatoes and it was FANTASTIC! In fact, my son and husband were at a Coyotes hockey game our last night and I ordered the same meal in suite and it was just as delicious delivered. We are usually fans of this hotel and have stayed many times. Unfortunately on this occasion the hotel was not up to par. The room they put us in was under a staircase next to a maid station; it was often noisy and the position of the room made it somewhat dank. The coffee machine did not work at all. I don't know why the Hilton buys these units; they […] are nearly always broken and it is a pain to get another one. The A/C unit was sketchy, and the room itself was on the dingy side, unusual for a Hilton. It just was not a great stay, and I wondered why they would put us in such a bad room when they clearly had many other spaces available. We were very busy and didn't spend much time there, so we did not go to the trouble of asking to change rooms. Then again, our thought was we shouldn't necessarily have to; the rooms should all be properly maintained. Over all Hotel was good, but my first day was not very good , had no hot water in the morning and heater did not work for first day ...

The hotel itself was nice, but it was completely overshadowed by the old lumpy bed. This is seriously the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. It was so bad that I went and slept on the couch, and you know how "comfy" hotel couches are. It was FAR BETTER than the bed.

my room was fine except for stains on the bed room carpet and the grout missing all through the bathroom tile. the only problem while i was there was i wasnt able to use the adult pool as they replaced all the chaises with chairs and couches. [a wedding i guess] but overall i had a good stay and enjoyed myself. sencerely Me

The staff was great everyone was very friendly and the restaurants were good we had dinner @ Different Point Of View and it was great. But we had some issues that we should not have had for example, we had to turn on the hot water and let it run for about 15 minutes before we had lukewarm water (this was what the maintenance person told us to do). We […] live in the desert and if even half of the room use this practice that is a lot of water wasted. We had no internet connection, which they did not tell us when we checked in and did not have our entire stay. It is also very difficult to get around in your car pathways are extremely narrow and at time difficult to pass. Overall our stay was good. The only bad thing I can say is the wait staff at the Adult Pool was very poor. We sat poolside for at least 1/2 an hour before I decided to go inside to the bar and request some drinks. It was my first stay at the hotel and I was very pleased with every aspect of my stay. The breakfast buffet is great, and it got even better when my wife and I each paid for the buffet and our kids got the buffet for free. An incredible weekend at the Pointe! The room was great, and there are pools everywhere on the property. If you feel crowded or confined at one, it doesn't take too long to find another to suit your needs. Not everything was perfect. We discovered that the liquor bottles in our fridge had been tampered with, with someone emptying the contents of close […] to ten bottles. We called the front desk immediately, and they sent housekeeping and security to our room right away to investigate. They took away the empty bottles, and we were not charged for them. Also, we went to the big pool (The Falls) early the next morning, and while it was nice to have it to ourselves, there were a LOT of bees in the water. I think the resort should keep emergency epi pens near the pool just in case. The food in the restaurants was incredibly expensive, ($72 for a family of four, and $4.50 for a Bud light), but it's close enough to some strip malls and grocery stores that you can stock up on some food for snacks and lunches. The good: the staff was very helpful, the golf course was spectacular, the rooms were spacious and convenient (excellent TVs), and the grounds were clean. We especially enjoyed the family-friendly "dive in" movie by the pool Saturday night. All in all, we will be returning for a stay in the future. 더 보기

Not my favorite place to stay....Parking is HORRID. No convenient places to eat except Point in Tyme which was very stuffy and old school (pretty inside). The Canitna is only open on the weekend and Different Point of View WAY to pricey for an average dinner. tv channels limited and the AC didn't get cold....bad thing when its 116 degrees outside.
