The room was a nice size and the location to the event we went to could not have been better. Right off MOPAC and we did not know our way around Austin -- GPS was great help in finding our way to motel and back again.

We have stayed at the Hampton the last two times we were in Austin visiting family. The location was very convenient for what we need to do while there and the staff are great! I asked for a room with a refrigerator and they got us one at no additional charge. Evidently, the the third and fifth floors have them. Breakfast is simple but good. It is much […] better than we have had at other hotels that promise that perk included in the price of the room. This hotel also takes pets! I love that. Overall our experience was great. We've stayed here before and have never been disappointed. Service great, breakfast always worth it. I tripped over my own feet in the lobby and before I could get up there were two staff helping me. I always stay here when in Austin.

I usually stay at the La Quinta across the street but I thought I would change things up. What a world of difference. The staff was super friendly, the rooms are way nicer, and the breakfast is better.

Overall, I prefer to stay at Hampton Inns. The service has always been excellent and this hotel was no exception. My only negative comment was the desk chair in the room. No arm rests and it would not tilt back when you tried to lean back. Not really comfortable for working on your laptop. Great stay, Great Hotel, will stay in Hamptons again.

We had a wedding planned at another location in the area and chose this location to stay. It was a good decision. The rates were more reasonable. The service was excellent. Continental breakfast had many choices, both hot and cold. The rooms were fairly spacious. The lobby had a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and big. I wish there was a sofa and a small refrigerator.

I have stayed in a number of Hampton Inns in my travels but this one in Austin is the very best I have seen. The lobby is beautiful with the breakfast area highly decorated in Texas limestone style,. A wide range of choices for breakfast. The first floor room had high ceilings making for a spacious feeling; excellent bed and furnishings; wonderful bath. […] It was holiday time and the staff was unfailingly helpful, cheerful and attentive. I was extremely impressed by the hotel staff who made my stay welcoming, attentive to room details, and made sure I had everything I needed. The morning breakfast was quite adequate and sufficient with many choices. There was always a full pot of coffee or hot water to welcome me back to my room. I liked everything about this hotel, except the pillows were awful. I don't understand how a simple thing like good pillows is hard to provide......ruined it for me.

The hotel met our needs very well as we visited family. The cost was very reasonable. The service was great and the location to the area shops was fantastic.

The staff were marvelous! I received a call 5 min. after being in my room to ask if everything was satisfactory, and if not what the hotel could do to make it better! The room was so clean and everything was great. Iwouldn't hesitate to stay there again. They even have "to go" breakfast bags for those checking out early.

Probably the friendliest welcome ever received was given by Rose who was super friendly and helpful and a delight. Breakfast was included in the price and very good quality. Free wifi. Good location for the shops at the Domain.

We booked the hotel assuming they had smoking rooms (per hotels.com). When we arrived, we discovered the entire hotel was a non-smoking facility. The staff made lots of phone calls to find us a nearby hotel that allowed smoking. So, we did not stay in this particular hotel, but we were very happy that they found us a nearby hotel. I was impressed by the size and the thoughtful extra touches in the hotel room. There was a floor lamp by the couch making for excellent visibility for reading. There was also a large hassock for one's feet. The breakfast was particularly complete including omelettes and hot sausages, as well as the usual fare. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. […] At first I thought the room didn't have a closet, but it was behind the full-sized mirror. I even used the iron and board they provided. I was impressed with the hotel, it was very welcoming and breakfast menu was good.

Nice hotel (as Hamptons almost always are). Very friendly and helpful staff!

When we first walked into our room, I was so impressed with the complicated fabric. It was so up, so down. Upon closer inspection, what I was seeing was big clumps of batting balled up into little tiny pillows throughout the comforter. It became a running joke throughout our trip. The comforter is cozy, once you find the wad of batting.

Great Stay.. Staff very courteous

I was a bit disappointed in this hotel. The staff was very nice and the location is good, but the beds were not comfortable. The pillows were polyester and the comforter was very lumpy...obviously was a poly fill and not down filled. The rooms were too dark and dingy feeling.

Reasonably priced at a very convenient location. Near highway, good restaurants and shopping. Clean rooms, very ample breakfast and extremely nice, helpful,hotel staff.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. my friend and I have stayed here twice with no problems. The hotel staff has always been very friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and comfy. It's in a good location in relation to downtown Austin. Would definitely stay here again.

i know they typically charge for the location. it is a good location off mopac and 183, but a little dated compared to other hampton properties. so in another location this would be a more discounted rate. also i hope you like live music on thursday nites at sams boat next door, because you are going to hear it whether you like it or not.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, very nice staff. Lobby is beautiful, and of course, the free "hot" breakfast every morning - can't beat that! Located w/in one mile of quite a bit of retail shopping and nice restaurants.

The Hamptom inn @ austin nw/arboretum staff were outstanding and were very nice ... " friendly welcome smile and informed guests about all the hotel services ". Five stars rating for this hotel.we loved the location and customer support.
