The drawbacks were few but included small pillows, a "queen-size" bed that was closer to full than queen, and the continental breakfast had far few choices than those at other hotels. Our room was large, clean and well priced.

When I did my reservation they did not have nonsmoking rooms. I was not able to get o e upon arrival. It was an inconvenience but I knew it might be.

Good hotel for the price. Basic "continental" breakfast, pastry, cereal, bagels, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that the rooms are not too soundproof. Could hear the person in the next room snoring!!! Overall a great stay for a great price. (Except PSU football weekends.)

Sleep Inn was comfortable and all representatives were kind. The location was also good and neighborhood were excellent! The distance to PSU was less than 5 minutes by car.

Minus some noise coming through the door and ceiling, it was a really nice place to stay. The staff was really friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice. I would recommend the Sleep Inn to all but the very light sleepers.

The rooms are clean and modern, the hotel shares a parking lot with TGIF's which makes it nice to check in walk to dinner and there is a carry out real close- walking distance to. The breakfast bar in the morning has juice, coffee, bagels, muffins, ect just enough to get you going. The staff is very nice and helpful. Extremely worth the reasonable price. Evening snacks and morning breakfast fresh & delicious. Staff courteous. Very, very clean. Only negative comment is a slightly uncomfortable bed, but nothing compares to mine at home!

We needed a room just for an overnight visit to Penn State University. Every other hotel was much more. The hotel was extremely clean, very friendly staff and a surprisingly good free breakfast with many things to choose from. It's only 1 1/2 miles from the school and very easy to get to. Our room was fresh and clean, nicely decorated, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Pricing was quite reasonable.

Although the room was almost uncomfortably small the reasonable cost and friendly front desk staff made up for any inconvenience.

We are Penn Staters and go to Happy Valley often. It's difficult, at times, to get lodging right in town; so, just outside the perimeter works well. This property is within walking distance to the campus, the stadium and College Ave. It's well kept, and very comfortable.

the hotel was pretty nice for the price I paid (I have stayed at less nice hotels for more) and the breakfast in the morning was decent too. The only complaint I had was the noisy neighbors early in the morning who apparently did not understand how to use "inside voices" and woke us up with their 20 minute long dialogue but the next morning everything […] was quiet and fine. very pleased with the overall experience. This was my first time in a sleep inn and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and hotel in general. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler. Very close to the campus.

Excellent value. Clean and quiet, will use this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed at the Sleep Inn State College hotel for 2 nights. It is in a great location- I walked from the hotel to campus in 15 minutes, more or less. Our room was very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Another plus: free cookies in the hotel lobby!

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and it's great!

this is my third time staying at this hotel and each time seems to be better than the last. ( the showers are great) The only minor pain is no left turn coming out of Village drive, but that's no biggie either. Will continue to use Sleep Inn when visiting State College.

Fantastic place to stay for the football game. Very clean and nice decor. Great staff. Had a shuttle pick up for transportation to the football game and back.

We traveled to State College to tour Penn State this week. Booked this hotel on Hotels.com. Staff was friendly, hotel and room clean. just great.

clean hotel, located in the centre of the city. nicely decorated, comfortable beds, clean and specious shower. cold breakfast consisted of different types of cereal, yogurts, fruit, bagels, muffins, cream cheese etc., coffee, 4 types of juice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, well worth the money paid

Staff may be the nicest I ever encountered at a hotel. The rooms were small but very clean and cozy. Overall I was very satisfied.

Accommodations were better than expected for the price, even with a last minute reservation. The hostess's at the desk were very pleasant and even helped me with channel information so I wouldn't miss "Glee"!
