Overall a good stay. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The surrounding area has many attractions.

not great generally, would not bother with this again

Here are a few issues i had with the hotel 1) The hotel was further away from the S&W tournament that i went too. ( but that was acceptable due to it was clean and nice) 2)Hotel had no elevator ( only 2 stories tall.) But carrying luggage made it a pain. 3) Hotel room did not have a microwave. i was on the second floor. Per the lady at the front desk, […] only the 1st floor had a microwave and refrigerator. I asked her if I could change and she said that they were all booked. ( not sure if she checked or not, but i accepted it as is.) 4) The stairs seem hollow along with the hallway. when you walk you can hear every step ( thumping sound). It doesn't sound solid, but i stress it just sounds that way. The good things: 1 The room was clean and the beds were nicely made up. 2)There parking was sufficient. 3) I felt comfortable sleeping in the hotel, the beds were clean and comfy. 4) The hotel had a policy of only changing the sheets every 3 days.That was good to me, because who needs their sheets changed every day!?( you wouldn't do that at home. LOL It was some go green policy in which you could put out the specific door tag to have your sheet changed every day. Again i liked that campaign, even if its just to save some money. 5) My friend had a hotel that was 2 minutes from the tournament. I walked in and that hotel had stains on the rug, ashes on the toilet and pee was on the floor. I didn't feel clean staying there. And my friend later commented they did not feel comfortable staying at that hotel. It made me really appreciate my Hotel I stayed in. In fact my friend stayed in my hotel for a couple of nights. Having a clean hotel room makes all the difference in the world. In conclusion, I give the hotel a 3, due to the location of where I wanted to go, the lack of microwave, and not being able to accommodate me for a room in which i wanted ( I chose the hotel because it had a microwave and refrigerator). The hotel is close to the interstate, making it convenient to any visit in the Cincinnati area. The breakfast was average, though I was very impressed by the pancake maker. I did have a few complaints with the room, though. First, when I walked in the room, it was FREEZING. The room's AC unit had been set at 55. Who sets an AC that low?? I then noticed […] that the room did not have two queen-size beds as advertised. They were only fulls. There's not a huge difference there, but it is noticeable when sharing a bed with someone. Third, the mattresses were very hard. I felt like someone had put a mattress pad over a sheet of drywall and called it a bed. 더 보기

This hotel was converted to a Holiday Inn Express. It is an old 2 story motel with no elevators, not a nice new Holiday Inn Express like in the commericials...I wish this would of been in the description...It is very, very small and the lobby where they cram in everybody for the free breakfast is about as big as my dining room..You cant even turn around […] with your food... I should of stayed one exit up where there are about 5 new hotels and new resturants and shops around it...I will know better next time. 더 보기

Had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, located near many restuarants, and the continental breakfast was great. My only complaint was the pool had to much chlorine and the "heated" pool was a little cold.

I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel. It was very old and the rooms need an upgrade. The cleanliness though is good. The staff though was also very friendly and warm. I thought the breakfast was good too. If you don't care about the appearance of the room, then you are fine staying at this hotel.

Clean, comfy beds, and fridge/coffee maker. Nice breakfast area included. Just right for an overnight stay -- one exit north of Ikea and movie theater.

The HI Express is not luxury but for the price it is a good value. The beds were not as comfy as the Comfort Inn that we stayed in earlier in the week but were adequate. The wireless internet service was flaky and it was clear that nobody knew how it worked but once I figured it out it was fine. Overall a nice place.

Our stay started out fine but in the middle of the night we had drunk people trying to get in our room because the front desk had given them the wrong room number. Then we were never given an apology from anyone at the desk for the incident. All they said was that there was a note left for the manager to read.
