Great location, great hotel with lots of amenities inside. Fantastic location.

Clean, nice, friendly, classy. If you staying around the Soma or Moscow center area stay here!

Hotel was very nice. Would be nicer if wi-fi was offered in the rooms and not just in the lobby. At the rate and the class of the hotel, this should be an added amenity.

Hotel is good but parking is $58 a day and there is no self parking. The website is somewhat misleading.

The Hotel was very nice and close to shopping and restaurants we took the Muni Bus to Pier 39 and China town and pais $2.00 for the day vs $12.00 round trip to the Pier. My only complaint is on the website parking is advertised as $32.00 a day but when we arrived we were told that parking was $51.00 a day and that the $32.00 parking was across the street. […] The valet was nice enough to match the $32.00 a day. I attended a conference there. The space works very well. As an overnight guest, I really appreciated the room and the restaurant staff. They were terrific. Dining there is expensive, but the experience is positive.

Stayed for two nights for a conference and absolutely loved everything about it - location, The View restaurant, service, everything. The room was very comfortable and spacious, unlike other hotels in SF where you walk into a closet and have zero space to move around. It's conveniently located in the Union Square - and when I got the chance, I really […] enjoyed just stepping out and exploring. Right outside is the Metreon, Yerba Buena Gardens, Union Square shops and mall, and a ton of wonderful eateries. Couldn't have asked for a better location. My only trip up was when the shower flooded my entire bathroom floor and I slip and fell pretty hard. But I suppose I should have been more cautious. Also, I wish the Starbucks stayed open later, sometimes a girl needs her Americano at night. But other than that I had a FANTASTIC stay, and really enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. Also, I usually try to stay away from hotel restaurants but my friend and I had the best time at The View - it's on the top floor of the hotel and has the most gorgeous views of San Francisco - from the Financial District buildings, to the water, to the hills with houses. We got there while there was still light out and chatted until it got dark, and it was awesome to sit there, have a drink, and watch the city lights go on. Perfect and flawless evening. The food was great too! Usually if there's a good view, then the food is pricey and not up to par, but we ordered the pork sliders and filet mignon with mac and cheese - everything was delicious (pricey, but delicious). Would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, and can't wait to stay at the Marriott Marquis again! 더 보기

It was a great place to stay. I wish that the thermostat would actually keep the room at the temperature that I had set it to (I like it cold), but it did a fairly good job. Other than that small thing, the room was great and the staff was great. I recommend it!

We have used this hotel many times in the past. We booked for a wonderful few days in SF between Christmas and New Years. As a Marriott Silver customer, we were offered to upgrade to the Club Level for an extra charge. We decided it would be nice to have the extra service and convienence of the club for a snack, drink etc. Over the course of three days, […] each time we visited the club it was packed to over flowing with people. Mostly children and college students. The place was a mess, so loud you can hear it in the rooms, food all over the floor and hotel staff who looked exhaused and seemed to have given up hope of getting the place under control. When we complained to the front desk we were told "oh well it's the holidays and what do you expect us to do about it" Well I expected to have them refund the premium we paid to upgrade to the Club Level. That is not possible we were told, nor were we able to move to another room away from the disaster they call the "Club" 더 보기

The hotel is conveniently located 2 blocks from Union Square. Great shopping and restaurants walking distance from hotel. Hotel room was nice. Very clean and customer service was great. Only downfall was hard bed and expensive parking.

Location! Great location right at the foot of the Union square. Very close to Public Transportation. Some issues with the Bathroom: Water drained very slowly and the toile seat would not sit upright, but they took care of it promptly.

Expensive because it was NYE but everything thing we did including the event we attended was within walking distance. Hotel staff was professional and exceptionally polite, the room was clean and had a fantastic view of downtown. Definitely a Go-To for a weekend in Frisco.

Stayed NYE here with a coupleof friends. We were all very comfortable. It was a busy weekend. One complaint, might be a safety issue, the electrical receptacles seemed really flimsy, I plugged in phone charger and thought I was going to break the plate. Hotel should look into fixing this especially if there are kids that might stay in the hotel.

This hotel is a mixture of good and not so good. While the room was nice to look at, and the bedding was cozy, the actual beds were not comfortable at all. Additionally, the bathroom pipes were very noisy - I knew to jiggle the shower button to get it to stop - my neighbor did not (at 7am). We were told that our room was on the "quiet side", but a compressor […] unit went off at 7:13am in the museum parking lot, and the church bells rang at 7:33! The pool looked much more luxurious in the online photos, but was not very warm and kinda - ehhh....Still wondering why there was a local gang member in the hot tube with us, making out with his girlfriend (who had the class to swim away). Thought I'd gotten a great deal on a classy place...but it was just...good. 더 보기

This is a very nice hotel, with a great staff. The room and service is great! My only issue is that we went for new year's and the party that had been planned by Marriott did not allow minors, so we had to go elsewhere because we have a 15 year old. Other than that, we had a blast. San Francisco is beaitiful and this Marriott is a delight.

We had a great vacation, the only disappointing moment was the Christmas Buffet. I guess I had higher expectations. Otherwise everything was great!

I travel with my husband and 12 yrs old daughter. Hotel give me 2 full size bed that was fine. But the bed was so soft and small. They tell me the two bed is over size full bed that was wrong. After 4 night I ask them if we can change to another room with harder bed. They said all the bed is soft the only way is to add a hard bord under the mattress. […] After they do so I still fell the bed is too soft. 더 보기

First time at the hotel with the wife for the NINERS vs Steelers game. Great hotel to stay at. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it.

We stayed here to attend a 49ers game at Candlestick Park. While our stay was great and the hotel service and location were generally good, our only negative comment was on bad information we got about transportation from the hotel to the game. There hundreds of Steelers fans from out of town as well as 9ers fans that waited in line for Muni buses that […] never came or arrived full. We were told by the hotel that this was best way to get to the game but if we had not recognized the looming transportation crisis for fans by waiting for for over-saturated bus lines, we and many others would have missed the game. Both the taxi stand at the hotel and the bus stop were maxed out with fan transport demand yet I was able to do better on my own by simply walking around the corner and flagging a reasonably priced taxi. One would think with so many NFL fans staying at the hotel, the hotel could at least provide better advice and help fans better manage the transportation problem by simply looking outside the entrance to the hotel. Location and bar are wonderful. The only issue we had was the bathroom could have much cleaner.

Great hotel! Very friendly staff. Very luxurious décor in the lobby, in the lounge, and everywhere! The room was exactly as described in this website. The view from our 25th floor room was great, overlooking the east side of the city with the Bay Bridge in the distance. Even when returning to the room after a late night, there were staff and guests […] around in the lobby and lounges, so it always gave a feeling of safety/security at all hours. The 4th St. Bar and Grill was great for lounging, eating, and enjoying the games on TV. And forget about renting a car. The Marriott Marquis is just a few 100 feet away from BART's Powell St. station (taking BART from SFO was a breeze...took 25 minutes travel time and best of all NO TRAFFIC to contend with). Then, travelling throughout the city was very easy from the hotel. You can take many MUNI buses, the F-line streetcars (from the Castro District to Fisherman's Wharf via Market St. and the Embarcadero), and the Powell-Hyde cable car line all from within a few hundred feet of hotel's entrance. And welcome to Ground Zero of shopping, shopping, SHOPPING. The Westfield SF Centre and Union Square (Macy's, Saks 5th Ave, Victoria's Secret, Neiman-Marcus, etc.) are within walking distance. Also, on Market St. both north and south of the hotel are all kinds of shops, even us guys will find stores to suit our tastes. And did I mention there's a very large, very popular Apple store very close by? Bottom line: staying at the SF Marriott Marquis was well worth it, and even more so when getting a bargain price through this website. From this point on, this is the ONLY hotel to stay at whenever my wife and I visit San Francisco! I joke with my wife that if they had a pizza parlor too, I'd move-in permanently today!! 더 보기

The Hotel Staff is professional and courteous. Great location. Catch the Trolley nearby or shop till you drop in walking distance. The Room Views are so-so but the View Bar is a MUST SEE. Really enjoyed the 3 night stay and especially the convenient access to the BART, China Town and the Trolley Cars.

Restaurants were pricey and food choices were limited. Better luck exiting the hotel into the westfield mall for food or surrounding restaurants. $15 per day for internet was not appreciated. Room was clean and modern design.

We had a great time dirung our stay! The location of this property...PERFECT!!! We will definately stay here again for next years SantaCon.

great price, great location, parking is pricey

Stayed here for two nights while visiting San Francisco. I used to live here and wanted to stay somewhere nice/convenient at a reasonable price. The hotel met all my criteria and helped make for a wonderful stay!

Room was on the fifth floor, which looks like and sound like a least desirable location in the hotel. You can hear variety sounds of activities coming from your neighbors including orchestra played by plumbing fixtures and pounding sound from above. got a good rate on room - then killed on the extras - parking $53/night, breakfast was $70!!

Outside having to drive around the block in rush hour traffic, it's a great hotel and location for all. Would highly recommend staying there.
