Sure the rates are enticing, but there are other much better options nearby. This place is a dump and should not be called a Ramada

The room was cold. The heat didn't work. There was no wash cloths ( only towels). The bed was advertised as a queen size bed, when in fact it was a full. The beds were severely old.

Expectations were not very high after reading the other reviews. Was pleasantly surprised with this place. There are several small things that could be repaired and or updated, however all the important things worked and the bed was comfortable. Overall this place looks very nice, if you are looking a place with no flaws...stay elsewhere. Please remove this form the list of choices. It's a terrible hotel to stay in. No hangers, smoking and non smoking are same, broken curtains, no hangers, 1950's tv, broken bed, mould everywhere, dirty carpet, unprofessional front desk. These r just a few. I would never stay in this hotel again iny life.

This hotel could be a cheap alternative to the pricer hotels in the area, if the management took a little time to just clean the place. Simply things like sweep the floor in the elevator, make this place look more run-down than it really is. Either the staff is underpaid and unmotivated to do their job or the management is just too cheap to pay its […] workers. Amenities listed on web site were not completely there. We had no clock radio, no sink stopper, no kleenex or spare toilet paper. Pillows were flat. We asked and they did provide, but could see dirt in the corners of the room. Stains on the rugs....

The bed was rock hard, there was mold all over the shower and bathroom ceiling. Breakfast had very little provided.

Well we arrived and checked in. Problems: No tissues, wrong remote for TV, bottle cap and sheetrock dust on the flood. Notified front desk: got box of tissues, house keeping would clean room next day, remote control replaced. Day 2: no hand towels, room problems not corrected, one wash cloth, then found that there were no open outlets for the floor […] lamp or our chargers. Over the 6 nights we were there the room was never cleaned properely, bath linen was not enough for 2 people and the plastic cups were only enough for 1 person from day 3 to day 6. There id a definate lack of service and having known the facility since it was built I would never recommend it to anyone. Coffee pot anchored to wall in the bathroom next to the sink and a bath exhaust fan noisier than a 747. Poor maintenance and cleaning. So much for Inspections. Never again. Other Hotel/Motels in the area, look there. Hotels.com should hang their heads in shame for even listing it. 더 보기

good for the money

We had high expectations booking at hotels.com and it being a Ramada. Checking in was quick and at first sight the room looked alright. However, we quickly realized that the phone was not working. There were minimum towels in the bathroom (the towel rack was only half stocked), no extra toilet paper, and the coffee packets they had looked like they […] were 10 years old. The computer chair did not even fit in the computer desk and the beds did not even have bed skirts. There were 2 pillows each at the 2 double beds, but they were so flimsy they might as well not have been there. When asked for more pillows, the hotel said they had NO EXTRA PILLOWS IN THE WHOLE HOTEL. That was the last straw as we expected the hotel would have something so basic on hand. Being it was labor day weekend we understand the place was probably really busy but for the money you pay, especially in this economy, you expect basic things to be available/provided for. We only chose this location because we needed to be close to Jersey City and every other hotel was booked. If you have a choice, stay away from this hotel and spend a little more elsewhere for a better experience. 더 보기

i wouldn't recommend this hotel. There is a holiday inn and a comfort inn down the road that are much cleaner and personable. I had to kill two centipedes in my room.

Very convenient if your planning to trip to NYC and Six Flags. Alls rooms with dble beds have microwaves and fridges. Also a huge plus when your traveling with little ones.

The hotel was very comfortable in a neighborbhood of restaurants and shoping malls. Although the hotel needs an exterior and interior renovation I would still recommend it for a comfortable over night stay

Please avoid this hotel and look for any other place. In my several years of experience on travel this is the first time I had to change a room not once but twice and still got a BAD room. The first room I checked in was so horrible. The bed was making lot of noise and all rusty. The room had a bad odor too. So I went to the front desk and requested […] a room change. The person was good enough to made a room change. The second room also was very bad but since I was very tired and it was late night I managed to sleep there. In the morning, the bathroom sink was not draining and it was all clogged up. Since I booked the hotel for 5 nights and I don't want to stay in that room I went down and told the manager that the second room was also not clean and the sink issue. She said "what do you expect? This is an old building. All rooms are same". That was not the response I was looking for but that is the truth. Since the sink and bath tub was not draining any water I stll had to change my room. The 3rd room also was very bad but as the manager told, all the rooms are stinky. I don't know how they state even permits these kind of dirty rooms hotels to operate. Small clean room. Walls did not keep noises out--woken up a few times by sounds/others in halls in other rooms. Large holes in the window screen of my room. Window drape broken.

and I had a peaceful night. There is a lot of traffic in the evening so this may not be the place for family types but if it's just you or a couple then it's affordable, and clean. My only bummer of the night was that the soda machine gave out cans only and they charge $1.25 for it. Bring your own things since the area looks desolate at night. The hotel's address is not the "entrance". I had to go through a back road to reach it, based on the hotel desk attendant's directions. The hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast, and the service was poor. I did not want to sleep on the sheets. The sheets were turned inside out, leading me to believe that staff did not change the sheets that […] day. The room had an odd odor and I was uncomfortable staying there. The hotel staff almost made me late for a meeting the next day. It took 30 minutes to prepare 2 breakfast sandwiches that totaled $25 (and I called in advance). The morning attendant was on her facebook account and took forever checking us out, and didn't bother to give us a receipt. I will never stay here again. 더 보기

lowest cost hotel by far in the area, great front desk service at check in, clean, comfortable room and bed, great free morning breakfast, free fast wireless internet, things a little old and worn, but overall in good condition and well maintained for the low price, will stay here agian next time I am in the area.

The wiring was hokey. All the appropriate stuff was there, but not enough sockets. So, to get the lamps I wanted operating, I had to unplug the microwave, etc. One lamp had a broken switch. I moved to extended stay after this stay, everything was ok except WiFi. do not expect to connect to the world from this location

Everything was a breeze. We'd booked through a travel website and as soon as we got in, we were very impressed by the state of the room and how clean it was. The bathroom was also really clean and arranged well. We had no complaints against the room considering that we got such a good deal on it

very nice clean quiet close to the malls and eating places would stay there again

Hotel gave us rooms with kingsize beds, but I had reserved Two doubles. The guys on the front desk smugly said that "we are upgrading you to a kingsize" where the price of kingsize was lower than the two doubles. While checking out, the front desk guy was extremely rude and did not even have the courtsey to look up and he kept doing what he was doing […] on his computer. Room was OK except that there was a Jacuzzi and shower in the room which I did not like. It had microwave and refrigerator that we did not use. The location, the price, and complimentary breakfast were all great and rooms are OK. So I would say, if you can ignore the customer service, my stay was fairly comfortable. 더 보기

Needed something cheap, and close to work location. Room was old, but clean. Great showers, hot water, friendly staff service.

The worst experience i ever had in staying at any hotel. The people at the front desk are very rude and would do nothing to help you in any way. When i went to checkin to the hotel i requested the front desk to provide me a room with a microwave in it and they rudely refused my request and said they will not do that even though i was willing to pay […] more. The worst thing is i even told them i need the microwave for my 2 year old kid so that i could warm up his food and yet they were unwilling to do anything. I called hotels.com from where i booked my room and they had it changed and saved my stay otherwise i would have no food to feed my kid on that night. Next thing which is even worse the rooms are so bad and badly maintained it is just like living in a hell. The beds had bed bugs in them bathrooms dirtly and the AC doesnt cool the room at all. My next night mare was when i walked to the parking lot i was shocked to see that my car was hit and run in their parking lot and again no body from the hotel never helped me in anyway and in turn showed me the big signs they posted in their parking lot which said they were not responsible for theft or damage to the cars even if is their property and they even refused to give any info to the police despite many requests. Overall the worst experience from the worlds worst hotel. The only good thing from the entire episode was that i booked my hotel through hotels.com and they tried to help me in every step of the way. All i can suggest to anyone is if you have a choice never stay in this hotel, it is better to sleep in your car rather than staying here. Oh the other worse thing is this hotel has only the basic cable service in the room , so you are paying a hotel to watch free cable. Never saw a hotel with basic cable service in their rooms. 더 보기

Pros - Close to NJ Transit Edison train station....take that into NY....Tons of shopping / movies very close....Room has refrig, micro, iron, blow dryer....Safe neighborhood....Free continental breakfast...Room is clean Cons....Yes, outdated hotel, a bit dingy At no time did I feel unsafe....Friendly staff....This is a cheap room and I would stay […] here again instead of paying an arm and a leg in NYC....A 40 minute drive to NY barring traffic...Great if traveling solo...Not really a family style hotel.... 더 보기

Pros: Easy to access and central location, clean and tidy facility. Room had a small fridge and microwave. Super-high speed internet. Staff was very friendly, professional and service-oriented. Cons: Terrible breakfast (very little was fresh). The building needs an update, although they clearly do their best to keep the facility in good shape.
