Entire stay was a pleasure and relaxing except for the recomendation to eat at Tom and Jerry's across the street I wouldnt eatg there again

We found the hotel to be just out a little further than we thought when we booked. But the hotel is located close to a bus stop that takes you express into the city centre easy to catch the seabus. Also a hotel shuttle to town or the airport but remember to book that early. We enjoyed the food next door in the Press Box. The staff very helpful.

This hotel is not in a good neighborhood! They advertised a free shuttle to the cruise terminals, but when we arrived it was "not available". One of our rooms was not ready until 7 p.m. because they shampoo'd the carpet that afternoon, checkin time was at 4 p.m. Would not stay here again!

A long walk from all the attractions Overall a good hotel with good service.Bus just outside the door

Nice, clean, friendly. Surrounding city a little scary. Went to town to visit Hastings Racetrack and was pleasantly surprised at how close it was,,walking distance-not mentioned in local attractions. very noisy. lot of traffic. in the middle of the nightwe have to ask for another room. we got it. but disturbed sleep.we didn't get the shuttle in time. not happy.

The best thing was the free shuttle to the airport and the cruise terminal, plus if you're lucky, to downtown if there's a space. Another great benefit is free Internet use. Having said that, the hotel was great - room and bathroom very large, beds extremely comfortable, help-yourself breakfast buffet looks basic, but in fact has everything you could […] need. Standard of cleanliness is high; cleaners pleasant and reception staff exceptionally helpful. Rates are reasonable as the hotel is a little way out of town, but buses stop outside and opposite the hotel, and there is at least one really good cafe/restaurant nearby (Vietnamese), plus a comprehensively stocked drugstore a block away, which includes a Post Office. Neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is nice, but don't stray too far down the road towards town, as you will be heading for a very poor area. I would definitely go back again, and would happily recommend the HIE to anyone who can't afford a luxury hotel. 더 보기

We had two rooms; the hotel is both nice and affordable. The neighborhood is slightly questionable; but the parking is gated and secure and the rooms are all indoors/secure; so I felt very safe in the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and include a desk with desk chair plus a nice oversized comfy chair affording a nice place to sit other than the bed. […] There was a balcony off each room and that was nice to have, but not scenic as it overlooked some ran down houses across the street- but we enjoyed it all the same. The room was clean and comfortable and all the staff courteous. There are several eateries in walking distance including a Burger King right next door and a family restauraunt across the street with great service and a kids eat free offer! The shuttle to the cruise terminal was complimentary and the shuttle driver was super courteous. The shuttle from the airport was under $10 and efficient. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever had a hotel; sausage, bacon, pancakes, eggs, pastries, fruit, juice, and milk. It was very good. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport and easy to find. Parking is complimentary and gated. The free wi-fi worked perfectly. Play land is an amusement park right next door that looked nice; but we did not go. We went to Lynn Canyon Park and it was nice with a suspension bridge and multiple trails. For reference there is also a dairy queen and a church's chicken on the same road for eating options. The hotel provides a small laudry room- it only has one washer and one dryer but we used it fine; it only takes canadian coins. Pretty good place to stay if you plan to visit Vancouver. The hotel is not new, but they are keeping it wery well. It has underground parking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple, but it was enough to start the day.

This is one of the worst values in metro Vancouver. It is on a very noisy street and the clerk would not or could not move our room. If you cannot stay on the north side of the building do not stay at all. The location is remote from most downtown sights, but near our relatives. The staff was curt and provided incorrect information. There are several […] good ethnic restaurants nearby, but the clerks suggested we haul all the way downtown to eat. Hastings Sunrise is not a bad hood. The worst mistake was incorrectly telling us a Canuck playoff game was on the date we arrived! Stay downtown even if you must pay a little more. 더 보기

Very nice hotel. Great rooms. Wonderful breakfast.

As a former Vancouver resident returning after nearly a decade away, my choice of lodging for this trip was based primarily on convenience and affordability. The Holiday Inn Express fit the bill perfectly. Upon arrival, our room was clean and ready, and the online reservation I'd made was sound. Brian, the desk clerk, was courteous and informative; […] explaining the advantages of the city's Skytrain, a commuter train which had now expanded its service to and from the airport. He also gave us a room on the north side of the hotel, away from the street traffic. What was billed as a free, hot buffet breakfast was closer to a continental version with a couple of hot courses available each morning. Still, plenty of fresh fruits, pastries, various cold cereals, muffins, bagels and a wide selection of beverages were also on the menu. The dining room was full of guests our first morning, but we joined a few other late stragglers and dined at a table in the lobby. I found the condition of the Inn's lobby, hallways and interior to be warming, comfortable and definitely clean. All staff members we encountered were friendly and special thanks goes out to Savannah for granting us a late checkout on the morning we were supposed to leave, allowing for a bit more time in the city. Our room was spacious, quiet and modern. I'd hoped for a mini fridge, but an ice machine was located a few steps from our door so we survived. The Inn is located in an older part of the city but close to many attractions, such as the Pacific National Exhibition grounds and the Pacific Coliseum; the former home of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks which is now home to the Jr A Vancouver Giants. Also withing a 10 minute walk is Empire Field, a temporary stadium which house's the CFL's B.C. Lions football team while its regular stadium undergoes roof renovations. A good place to stay in Vancouver. The underground parking was good and easy to use. I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. All in all it was a very satisfying experience.

This hotel is clean and with a great breakfast. Security is very nice and bus stops are close by. Vancouver is a very large city and like most of those can be dirty, with higher crime rates. This hotel is close in but feels close to those higher crime rate areas also.

Although part of an international chain, it is locally managed. The location isn't too great, i.e. being 3 miles away from downtown Vancouver. Without a car you need to take local buses. The route 135 bus a block away is the best bet to get downtown to one of their mass transit stations. Request a room at the back of the the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet for being so close to a main road. The hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown. That didn't really bother me, but be aware that there is a rather large poverty area between the hotel and downtown. The hotel itself was great...nice,clean rooms, good complimentary hot breakfast. Front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. Only drawback to the hotel was the distance to downtown. Be forwarned..if you want the complimentary shuttle service to the ship terminal, you should book it in advance. We arrived at the hotel at 4:30 pm and were told our room would be ready in 7 minutes. Thirty minutes later, it still wasn't ready, so I went up to the room myself, since they had already given us our keys, and it was ready and no housekeepers were in it. Also, we called for extra towels that night and never got them, although we did get them quickly […] when we called the following morning. We never could get through for a wakeup call (the line was continually busy), and we set the alarm on the clock in the room, which never went off. The walls were paper thin, and we heard the people next door having a very loud and lengthy lovemaking session, awkward with our two grown kids in the room with us. We usually enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express, but this particular visit was very disappointing. The breakfast in the morning was good, however. We were extremely impressed with the quality, room accommodations; the staff including the shuttle drivers were very polite and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself; it was a nice start to our vacation. Thank you.

L'hotel non è in centro, ma vi si arriva con circa mezz'oradi bus diretto. Per noi andava bene perchè cercavamo un alloggio in quella zona, ma non è una bella zona in senso turistico. Il personale è gentile.

Esta bastante lejos del centro pero es posible llegar en autobus al centro. El desayuno es ta muy bien El rumbo del hotel esta un poco feo-

Ok hotel, holliday inn are always a good choice quality, price, services. Location is not the top if you are visiting Vancouver. A downtown hotel would be a better choice
