i loved it it was so peacefull and the room was so neat i will be returning back :)

i highly recommend this hotel. the room was clean, the staff was friendly and the bed very comfortable.

I absolutely loved it. The hotel was immaculate and the service most accommodating. The room was incredibly comfortable and very relaxing. I plan to use the Marriott Detroit Southfield upon my next trip to Michigan.

ok, nothing special, food in the hotel very expensive, the breakfest area only has one person cooking so a very long wait, the toaster wasn't working very well, don't put the zip code in for gps locations, just type in southfield or you won't find it, the zip code puts the hotel in farmington hills at an empty office building.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and always helpful.

We had quite a pleasant stay overall. Hotel staff were really friendly. Plenty of free parking and free wifi. The hotel needs some updating and at times, it felt more like a 3 star than a 3.5 star. King size bed was very comfortable. There were no pool towels available, so we asked the front desk to send one up - no one ever came. Housekeeping did not […] refill our shampoo/conditioner. Upon arrival, we noticed a nasty stain on the toilet left by the previous guest, which the housekeeper had overlooked. Food at restaurant was great - I ordered the salmon sandwich and asked for vegetables instead of fries; however, they gave me fries and I didn't notice it until I got back to my room, at which point, I was too tired to send it back. Hotel is conveniently located off the major hwys and only 20 min. to downtown. Located in the business district, but I didn't see many major restaurant chains in the area. 더 보기

Really nice hotel with good rates. Only negative bed was uncomfortable/lumpy. Everything else very nice.

From the minute I checked in the staff treated me very well. They provided me with vouchers for the breakfast buffet. The cleanup staff was quick and good. The omelettes were outstanding. Definitely a great stay overall!!

The Hotel staff were wonderful. Best cheeseburger I've had in a long time. Quinn was great. Dessert not so good, cakes were old. I tried both the carrot cake and the chocolate. The HVAC did not work in my room however once I notified the engineering dept it was fixed immediately. My only complaint is that the first morning I ordered a pot of coffee […] and got a lovely large pot but on the next two mornings I was brought a small pot. The Marriott Detroit Southfield was beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was perfect. It's right off the highway, so it's pretty easy to get just about anywhere. We got a great rate with hotels.com, plus free breakfast (the real kind, not just some muffins and coffee). Overall a great place to stay!

Booked a smoking room. Was very disappointed that this was a non-smoking Hotel. I wouldnt have stayed there if I knew this. I think hotels.com should have been aware of this. Their for I will not stay there again since I am a smoker.

Upon checking in our room, we noticed that there were a few issues that needed to be addressed. We contacted the front desk and they promptly took care of the issues. The staff was generally very courteous and sought to ensure that we were comfortable. Would definitely choose this location again.

My stay was great. From the moment I walk in until the the moment I check-out the staffs were very friendly, often help or assistance at every turn. The only down side was that there was not anfridge in the room with would have been very helpful because I talk meds that need to be kept chill but there were plenty of ice -:).

Location was perfect - about 15 minutes away from downtown Detroit and about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor. The restaurant in the hotel had really great food and the service was just as great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the bed which was kind of uncomfortable.

This last stay was my 2nd time staying there. I enjoyed my stay even better than the 1st. I took advantage of the restaurant for breakfast. Everything was good from the waffles to the fruit. Great spot for the price.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. I will stay here again.

This hotel has a lot to offer including great service! However, if you need a mini-fridge, make sure to request a room that has one (I wish I'd known prior). The breakfast has many options and convenient if you're in a hurry, the service and management each morning went above and beyond. I'd stay here again on my next trip

This was our third visit to this hotel for a family event. All the staff from the front desk to the waitress' in the restaurant were so friendly and accomodating. We did have a problem with our room and the management made it a smooth transfer to another more appropriate room for us. the breakfast was very good as well. The chair and ottoman was so dirty unreal.The Bar was great Ienjoyed my snack.The rooms need To be remodeled andI payed too much.

Check in was painless, despite there being some sort of pageant or something going on and there were TONS of people in and out of the hotel. I expected the evening to be loud and uncomfortable due to the amount of people at the hotel, but I barely heard anyone from inside my room. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. My stay was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. The Hospitality was great! Waitress and Waiters were wonderful in dining hall. The front desk tenants were very courteous. I would defintely stay there again. Eddie & Essie

Upon arriving at the hotel I was pleasantly pleased I had rented a king bed with a sofa bed. The room was very small and the sofa bed was horrible, the next morning I asked to change rooms and was given a room with two full size beds which were great and worked out very well for my stay the only issue I had with the new room was that the sink was stopped […] up..my overall stay was great beds were really comfortable 더 보기

Nice hotel for the price. Complementary breakfast that wasn't great but still an awesome selection

This hotel was far better than I could of imagined. The only thing it lacked was a small refrigerator and microwave which would almost force you to use their restaurant. Overall what a great experience.

The sheets om my bed were not clean(their was hair in the bed that wasnt mine) and the bathtubs soap dish was dirty.

Arrived late after a snowstorm, but check-in service was great, fast, and helpful. Room was very nice, only complaint was it smelled like a little too much air freshener. We (couple) were concerned because a large family was staying just down the hall from us and was still very active around midnight when we arrived around midnight, but the rooms did […] a good job blocking any noise from the outside. Breakfast buffet was excellent - definitely recommended. After an active day, we had hoped to relax in the hot tub during adult-only swim hours; several teenagers remained in the pool area unsupervised for an hour before staff asked them to leave. We appreciated that, but had hoped that it would happen earlier. Any minor issues (out of towels at the pool, no hair dryer in the room) were addressed immediately and courteously. very satified with our stay at the southfield location friendly staff and nice pool and spa area, as well as modern exercise equipment.

We stayed in this hotel August '11 and again January '12. The facility has gone downhill alot since our last visit. I'll start with the good - the internet connection was good, breakfast and the staff the handled it were excellent and check-in was fine. We had a top floor room, room key access on the elevator it should have been great, but the area […] had a kids hockey tournament going on so the hotel had about 100 12 year olds and under running everywhere. The place was dirty, carpets were filthy, our room was not vacuumed. There were reminents all over the place. I have a couple hundred thousand Marriott points and this is the worst I have ever seen. 더 보기
