the hotel was very convenient to central London, the room was clean and a nice size, just dated. It was far from luxurious but for the location and breakfast I'd stay there again, especially due to the great price.

Room carpet was not hoovered well. Receptionist a little rude. No curtain in bathroom on ground level street facing.

Location 10 points, reception staff 10 points, kitchen staff not friendly; clean and OK rooms for the price !

The exterior was nice and we got a cute 'suite' with a small living room but it is extremely old. In terms of location, it's quite convenient, just around 7 mins walk from Great Portland Station. Not recommended for people who need absolute silence in order to sleep as you can hear cracking sounds from the ceiling whenever your neighbour move around […] in their room and worse is that you will constantly hear the train pass by underground until after mid-night when the train service stops (we were on the 3rd floor). They don't really have a luggage storage service after check-out. All they have is a unlocked room that keep all luggage without any security and registration. you just place your luggage there and anyone can go in to pick up whatever they like. 더 보기

Rooms are small, washroom had toilet in one room and the tub and sink in another. - Very convenient location in the heart of London, a great many things were in walking distance. - Wifi is not included, which really starts to become bothersome after a couple days.

Nice hotel and nice room. TV, shower/bath and WC. TV and tea maker. All good. This is a good hotel with nice reseption and good service. I will stay here again if I want to be in this area and get a good price/value ratio.

Hotel is a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street tubes in a quiet street, which was great. Overall, hotel was tired, room layout was weird, toilet was not in bathroom it was at opposite end of room with the sink in the bathroom. Carpets were worn and bed had seen better days. The lobby and exterior of this little hotel are nicely renovated and attractive. Sadly, the renovation did not get to our room. The shower was nearly unusable. The sink faucets only marginally functional. The bathroom floor linoleum was sticky when damp. The room carpet appeared to be from the stock left behind when the Mayflower sailed with the pilgrims […] to America. But worst of all was the indifference of the staff. I had decided that customer service did not exist there, and then a young man was very helpful with obtaining airline boarding passes. It was the only bright spot of the stay. 더 보기

Hotel location is convenient for BBC Radio Theatre and Oxford Street. However, not for those who are expecting a good nights sleep. There was a constant noise throughout the night - not sure if it was the generator or central heating system. Breakfast was average. Staff polite. The price reflects the service one can expect.....l.

As mentioned by other people who stayed here, this is a no-frills hotel. However, it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting, and it was actually quite charming. It was clean, I got coffee and tea with the room, lots of towels, bed was comfy, and it even had a flat screen TV. A decent breakfast was also included. If you want something like a national […] hotel chain, this isn't it. But if you want something much more "London-y", this is great. Staff was also very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again. 더 보기

I stayed with my family. Hotel was okay but some of the service was not good. My son's room one of the heater was not working. amenities like toilet tissue was not there. When we were there for one day elevator was not working so we had to squeeze in from staff elevator thru a crowded space to carry our luggage up on 5th floor. Pretty much what I would expect for a three star hotel. The hotel was obviously old and a little tired and dated, but the breakfast was better than I expected and the room was actually bigger than I would have thought. In summary: I have spent more before on other 3 star hotels and got much worse.

Great hotel in the middle of everything. Close to the tube and to all the shopping. Nice neighbourhood:-) We did miss the mini-bar though and it would have been nice with a proper english breakfast, at least as an option to the one served.

This was one of the cheapest 3-stars that we could find in Central London during the recent ash cloud crisis. The location was convenient to Oxford Circus station, and the neighborhood had some nice little restaurants and bistros. However, the hotel doesn't appear to have been renovated or properly maintained since probably the early 1990's. The bed/mattress […] felt like thin plywood over really obvious springs. The toilet tank took a really long time to fill up. We lost power one day, and the hot water heater went out about 15 hours later, forcing us to wait overnight for a warm shower.. 더 보기

Situated 5 minutes from Oxford Street this hotel is in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, nice spacious and clean rooms and good breakfast. Will definately go back.

Bodde på hotellet med en kompis, inget hotell för par som vill ha det romantiskt. Lite lyhört men rent i rummet. Toaletten låg för sig och bad och vask för sig. Helt ok frukost, bara kall mat. Trivelig hotell, bra for å være et lite og relativt billig hotell sentralt i London. Litt udelikat med muggvekst rundt vinduene og dårlig ventilasjon. Greit/Bra frokostutvalg - alle finner noe de liker! Hyggelig betjening og komfortable senger.

Leider war die Lage zu gut und der Preis war auch sehr interessant. Aber der Rest leider nicht. Vor allem die Sauberkeit und der Frühstücksraum waren sehr negativ.

Har bott på Astor Court två gånger och är väldigt nöjd. Kommer på på samma hotell på mina resor till London framöver. Nära till Oxford Street och shopping!

Rigtig hyggeligt lille hotel med super beliggendehed. Hotellet er generelt lidt slidt og sengene hårde, men hvis man blot skal bruge et sted at sove med central belligenhed er dette bestemt værd at checke ud!

Hotellet ligger lett tilgjengelig for Madam Tussauds, og er man glad i å gå kan man fint komme til sentrale steder som fotgjenger. Ellers er både busser og undergrunnsbanen like ved. Hotellstandarden er meget enkel, lite variert pålegg ved frokosten, men rikelig brød og kornprodukter. Hotellet ligger godt, nogle gader fra Qxford street. Morgenmaden var ganske fin, toast, juice, crossainter, yougurt, div. Kellogs morgenmad og kaffe og te Top service i receptionen - meget hjælpsomme med adresser mm. Dejlig centralt. OK morgenbuffet Elevator 24 timer reception Tilkalket løstsiddende bruser. Løstsiddende vandhaner på håndvasken. Toilet og bad i hvert sit rum. (Kun håndvask i badeværelset) Badekar :-)

Bra läge vid lugn gata, nära till shopping. Frukosten var bättre än vid många andra hotell i London.

Vi bodde på et tre sengs rom og det var grei størrelse. Helt typisk London hotel med teppebelegg på gulvene og badekar ;-) Litt slitte senger, men det holder akkurat for å kurere slitne shopping ben. Ikke kjøleskap. Hadde rom ut mot gaten, stille og rolig på natten, men aktiviteten øker på morgenkvisten. Enkel og grei kontinental frokost i et rent og […] ryddig frokost rom i kjelleren på hotellet. Ikke noe å få kjøpt på hotellet, men kort vei til pub på hjørnet og matbutikk. Hotel ideal gelegen,zentral und doch ruhig.Einrichtung Zimmer sind einfach,aber sauber. Frühstücksbuffet nicht überwältigend.Hotel ideal für Städtereise

Hotellet berger seg på glimrende beliggenhet ikke så langt fra Oxford Circus. Nabolaget er stille og trivelig, og du kan gå til flere store attraksjoner. Selve hotellet er gammelt og slitt, og ikke av den standarden man vanligvis får på trestjerners hotell i Europa. Frokosten var meget enkel. Brødristeren ble redningen her.

Die Lage ist TOP für London. Es ist ein sehr altes Hotel aber doch gepflegt und sauber. ÖV zu Fuss sehr gut erreichbar. Gutes Hotel für kurzen London-Trip.

El hotel está bien situado, limpio y sin ruidos, en relación calidad precio está bien. Volvería a ir a este mismo hotel. Siempre teniendo en cuenta que la calidad de los hoteles fuera de España nada tiene que ver con la de aquí.

Hotellet overraskede os positivt. Det var et "ældre" værelse, dog i fin stand og på sin vis meget charmerende. Eneste negative var madrassen, som nok havde set bedre dage (fjedrene var nemme at finde :-)), men alligevel fik vi overraskende god søvn. Morgenmaden var bedre, end vi havde forventet. Vi kan klart anbefale, at man tager tuben Oxford Circus […] og så går nordpå til hotellet - det var den hurtigste vej, hvis nogen skulle være i tvivl. Missnöjd med att toaletten var i ett separat rum, sen fick man gå till ett annat rum för att tvätta händerna.

The beds were not as bad as I expected when reading previous comments. Me and my kids had a three bed room. Breakfast lacked vegetables or fruits, but overall ok.

Det bästa med hotellet var dess närhet till pulsen vid Oxford Cirkus. Sån tur låg hotellet på en bakgata till Regents street som gjorde att det var relativt tyst på nätterna. Pga av ingen AC så var man tvungen att ha fönstret öppet i juli. Vi hade hört att de flesta hotell hade dålig frukost men det här var helt ok. Ljusa/mörka rostat bröd, yoghurt. […] Man fick en bättre start på hotellet än att jaga frukost på en restaurang utanför! Sängarna helt ok. Receptionen var trevlig och man fick den hjälp man behövde. Trådlöst internet ingick inte. Men kort och gott är vi nöjda med hotellet och speciellt närheten till att som man vill, ex: tunnelbanan vid Oxford Cirkus, Great Portland Street.
