코트야드 바이 메리어트 애선스 다운타운 (Courtyard by Marriott Athens Downtown) - 아테네

I waited 10 minutes for someone to man the desk and check me in at 7 pm at night. I have stayed her 2x, once a few years ago and they were remodelling. Strangely, they were still remodelling this visit. There was no food as expected at a Courtyard, had to go outside for access to my room, etc. Won't stay here again...

Most of the time you stay at a hotel to get some rest. Not at this place. Constant people talking in the hallways and it sounds like it is in your room. Then all I heard in the morning was Knock Knock housekeeping...over and over again.

This hotel felt more like an apartment complex - the landscaping was really nice and it was overall pretty to look at - but there were steps everywhere! You had to go up steps to get into the hotel, then you had to use your keycard to get in and out of every hallway! We had to use the keycard 2-3 times every time we entered and exited this hotel which […] is not good when you are strapped down with your luggage. When we were leaving the hotel to go home, we left our key card in the room, because we forgot that we needed it to exit the hotel! Luckily I still had one buried in my purse, so we could exit without any major hassle. Our room entrance was near the pool, and all of those rooms had another step up to get into them. This would not really matter but we had a lot of luggage, and if you have a heavy suitcase that you need to roll, you will constantly be picking it up and carrying it which is extremely inconvenient for travelers. The bathroom vanity was teeny tiny - I do not recommend two female travelers sharing a room because there simply is not enough room for two people to get ready at the same time. The shower head was very nice and the room was overall clean and comfortable, and it even came with its own dehumidifier! It was loud, so we left it on whenever we left the room since Georgia can get pretty humid in the warmer months. The cable included was pretty much full service - not limited to 30 hotel channels (mostly sports and news and no Comedy Central seems to be the hotel norm), which was also really nice. Overall I didn't hate this hotel, but I would not stay here again. It's just too inconvenient to manipulate all of the ins and outs of the layout. 더 보기

This hotel is hard to find and street access is poor. When we arrived it was raining, access to our room required a long walk in the rain, several stairs, slow elevator and access keys that did not work in the side door we were directed to use. The room was in a basement and we could hear rain water leaking in the wall. A portable dehumidifier was left […] in the room and the air quality was poor; Somewhere between mold and the carpet cleaner. We arrive late so I suspect we got the last room available. However the overall layout of the hotel, poor access to the rooms and a staff that could not figure out how to check us in did not leave a favorable impression. The price for this "Delux King Room" was more than we paid for a 5 star hotel in Atlanta the next night. 더 보기
