Very enjoyable stay, very helpful manager, but the internet connection was out of order.

Standard hotel, with no frills. But if you want to be close to town then this is the place for you.

This hotel is old and dirty. The bathtub had years worth of mildew, mold and stains on/in it, you couldn't walk on the carpet without your feet getting dirty and the wood around the door facing was so rotten that the door wouldn't close all the way. It was convenient for what we needed it for but the price was way too high for what we got.

I am sorry , I have absolutely nothing to say about our stay at the Days Inn in Helen. I called the Hotel to cancel one of the rooms I reserved and was told rudely that was impossible once reservations are made online you can not cancel. However I did go online and cancel one of the rooms. On arrival the manager or desk clerk said he remembered me from […] the phone call I made the day before and he would talk to the hotel owner because reservations are not to be canceled when made online. I explained to him upon making my reservation I was given until the 29th to cancel. The hotel is in very poor condition inside and out. We went down for breakfast before checking out the manager did not acknowledge our presence nor did he acknowledge the presence of other guest that came in. Overall a very bad experience for us. totally disappointed with this property and service of Days Inn. 더 보기

The first room i got , the carpet was dirty, felt sticky in some places, killed three flys and the sink wouldnt shut off, so i got a new room, still a dirty feelings carpet, and the door lock was broken, had to lift the handle up after useing the key, then once in the room, had to use the handle to close it, the locking bar didnt sit right, to lock […] the door after you left for the day or night, you hand to use the key card and then hold hte handle in the up side and let the system relock itself.. I wont even start on their free breakfast, what a joke. any rate, better hotels right up the road, if you can save up for it, one of the other ones that are on the river 더 보기

it's the worst hotel i had ever stay at and for the $ it's not I paid for that room it's a waste.

This is by no means the most spectacular hotel I've ever stayed in, but I'll stay here again. It's proximity to everything in town is wonderful, and the price wasn't as high as some of the others. The cleanliness left much to be desired, but for all the more time we *actually* spent in the room, it could be overlooked on my part. Great location, very friendly staff but horrible bathroom. They must not have used mildew cleaner for months. I wished I had brought flip flops to wear in the shower. The staff was wonderful but I would not stay there again due to the bathroom conditions.

We had no problem with the staff or service of the hotel. The rooms are beginning to show thier age, such a discolored grout aroung tubs. Needs new paint on all walls. Door frames are nicked. Need tubs cleaned . Pool was dirty and unuseable.

We recently stayed at the Helen Days Inn and I was very pleased. The Desk Clerk was so very friendly. Our room was nice for what we paid. This was our first trip to Helen but not our last. Been there before knew what to expect. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, but they will need to start doing some upgrading. Love the location and we will probably go back just because of the location. But upgrading is a definite must.

WOULD NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAIN ! THE ROOM SMELLED HORRIBLE TE BATHROOM WAS HORRIBLE ! AND BECAUSE IT IS SUCH A SMALL PLACE WE WERE STUCK NO PLACE ELS HAD ANY ROOMS SO WE TUBED AND CAME BACK HOME !!

This hotel was within walking distance of the town of Helen. Very convenient to all locations. Did not have to drive vehicle to visit shops. It is a great idea for bicyclists. We enjoyed riding our bikes. Thanks!

We booked our trip on short notice so there were not a lot of options. While it certainly would not have been my first choice, the accomodations were fair. The room appeared to be clean in the surface; however I came across some type of bug crawling on the floor. It was not a roach but still a bug. The shower came on immediately when the water was […] turned on in the tub which came as a surprise. The pool needed some upkeep but the water was at least clean. The ice machine was not working so that was a minor inconvenience. The complimentary breakfast was adequate with a nice variety to choose from but there was not enough dining space. 더 보기

Exremly nasty, don't think the crossed eyed mantinance man even knows where he's at ! Dam its worse than I could explane! Realy!

Close to downtown and the Festhalle... Clean and comfortable...

For the price of this hotel, I would have at least expected the room to be maintained properly. The shower curtain and rod appeared to be ready to fall out of the wall, there were ashes behind the bathroom door in a non-smoking room and the door to the room appeared to have been crowbarred a couple of times. The hotel was in walking distance of everything. The staff was very pleasant & helpful. I would stay there again.

This Days Inn was very overpriced even though it is a tourist town for what it offers. Staff was rude and our room was disgusting!! Dirty towels from previous guest still hanging on back of bathroom door and food on floors. We even got a rude phone call at check out time letting us know it was 11:00!!! Awful, I would never recommend this place to anyone. […] There is a new hotel directly behind this Days Inn...can't remember for sure but I think its the Comfort Inn and it looked nice. Hotel clerk very friendly. Our room smelled like urine.(horrible)The bed so uncomfortable that my girlfriend and i did not sleep but 1 hr. we left at 4:30 am.Absolutely horrible.We went and ate breakfast at the huddle house, which was thankfully located next door and open 24 hrs. Will never stay here again.

The hotel was within walking distance of downtown Helen. Very run down and not clean. Beds were very uncomfortable.

After reading the reviews, I honestly was not expecting much, but it was cheap and right near the bike show so I booked it. Let me tell you, it was FABULOUS. The staff were extremely friendly and quick to let me know if I needed anything at all, to just call. The room was on the road facing the bike show, so one would expect alot of noise and commotion, […] however, when you closed the door, the only thing you could hear was the sound of your own breathing. The air conditioner blew ice cold, the bed was firm, the television clear, the phone worked, the bathroom was immaculate, and it smelled good. Yes, it is an older hotel, but it is well taken care of. And there is a beautiful swimming pool. The bathtub has been refinished and what people are calling a dirty ring or mold is from the glazing process. They have a rubber mat in the tub so you don't touch the surface of the tub anyways. They also had a very nice continental breakfast. I got this hotel as a last minute thing because the person I was going with backed out and I was stuck without a room. But, WOW, this was a great, centraly located motel, within walking distance of everything, reasonably priced, quiet, and clean. You can bet that the next time I go to Helen, this is where I will stay. 더 보기
