excellent, friendly,reasonably prices,would definitely stay again and am recommending to my friends

Not super modern but everything was clean, nice indoor pool. We would stay again.

Hotel was dated but close to airport. Shilo Inn on Airport Way in Portland. Got into my bed and felt something by my leg. Pulled out broken eyeglasses that were not mine. Brought them down in the morning to the desk and the response was, "Well at least it was not bugs!" So much for customer service and cleanliness. I will not stay there again.

Easy transfer from the airport. No problems with check-in. Nice large room. Not the best selection of foods for breakfast, but good enough. I arrived before midnight and left before 10am, so I cannot really judge the hotel. Great room, plenty of room. Airport shuttle very convienient and timely.

the front desk was extreemly unprofessional when checking in with my daughter. She is an adult and they give a coupon for a glass of wine. He asked her if she was old enough, she said yes he laughed and asked me if she way lying. . .really. He proceeded to tell an off color joke. Later we took the shuttle to the airport to meet up with friends between […] the flights. The shuttle driver had strong body odor and made racist comments about other passengers he had driven. Good size suite with 2 queen beds. Large sitting area too. Swimming is a good size but shower beside the pool is broken. Good location near highways and airport. 2 kinds of Breakfasts I'll suggest go with the hot classic one in their restaurant next door. WIFI is free with good signal in room. Good stay in general!

The mattress was wonderful. I think it was mmiracle foam. The room was very spacious and I was put on the top floor (4th) because I would be there more than one night and that way I wouldn't be disturbed by others leaving for the airport. Checked iin late and the staff member was very helpful, friendly and informative. Close to the airport.

Good Deal!

The stay was okay. We used their shuttle to the airport to meet up with friends. We had a driver who had offensive body odor and inapproiate conversation. He told us that he was fired from his last job due to having an alteration with a coworker. He berated a car in front of us due to his perception that they were driving "like they were really stupid" […] On our way back to the hotel luck would have it we got the same shuttle driver. He spent the time telling us that he was paid minimum wage and he needed us to tip He repeated this at least 3 other times during the 10 minute drive. Yet when we got to the hotel he did not open the van door, just pulled up and started gathering his things while I struggled to open the door. 더 보기

Very clean rooms, staff was great!

We were very impressed at the hotel and our room for the money. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with 2 beds and a living area with a couch, table and kitchenette. There were 3 tvs in the room, one in the living area, the bedroom area and even one in the bathroom. There were only 2 bath towels in […] the room, and there are 4 people in my family, so we had to ask for extra towels, but they brought them to our room right away. Breakfast was also good for being a free breakfast, you eat at the restaurant and get vouchers that are good for a few choices or a few dollars off of anything on the menu. The choices we had were biscuits and gravy, oatmeal or an egg breakfast with 2 eggs (cooked any style, to order), hashbrowns, bacon and toast. It was a lot of food for a hotel breakfast. We paid extra for cheese and chocolate milks for the kids, plus a tip for the server, but it was well worth it. The hotel also has a nice gym, indoor pool and spa and other amenities, but we were on a tight schedule and didn't check any of it out, other than looking in the window as we walked by. The hotel is a little outdated, and not in a tourist friendly neighborhood, but we really like staying near the airport when we visit Portland so it was perfect for us. The Cascade Parkway shopping center is right across the freeway with lots of shopping and restaurants, which is convenient. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. 더 보기

Great just wish I could have stayed longer

My fiance and I went their to celebrate our anniversary. When I check in the guest service representative was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean, however there was not another towels in the room. When we went down to the pool, there were no towels available. When I went to the front desk clerk, he was an old mean man who said he could only see […] if they could find some towels. So was I supposed to go swimming and get out without a towel when he had a stack of towels behind the counter. MY room was comfortable and close to great shopping and food(Cascade Station). Breakfast the next morning was horrible as we decided to go to the restaurant and it took 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us then another 30 minutes before they took our order, The food was ok but nothing special. Our waiter was overwhelmed and they had nobody staffing the bar but they had a bloody mary special going on. A manager came up and yelled at an employee who was trying to be helpful to other customers. I saw multiple people leave the restaurant because noone acknowledged them. I brought my dog with me for a week of training at the Portland Humane Society. Everything was good.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, always the staff is very helpful and nice. The rooms are always clean and comfortable........

not bad for the price

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, relaxing and staff were wonderful. We will stay again.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Having a small dining/sitting area made it feel much more like home. Bed was very comfortable.

Had to ask for towels at the pool frequently. Otherwise, all was very good. Most of the staff was very professional. The staff in the dining room were the least helpful/professional for 2 years in a row.

We enjoy this hotel and stay when in town. Big room, comfortable beds, fun pool, nice resteraunt.

i had a wonderful stay there. it was too bad that mystay was just a few hours overnight. i missed the complimentary breakfast. however, we had a nice light dinner at 10% discount w/wine. what a bonus! staff was great and room had 3 TV's!! stayed at several other hotels in the area. this was my best choice. too bad it took so long to find it.

I very much enjoyed staying at the Shilo Inn, PDX. The room was excellent with more conveniences than I had time to take advantage of! Thank you for your very good service and facilities.

We recently spent 2 nights at this Shilo Inn and it was a great place to stay. The hotel is a little older and outdated in some areas but kept up very well and was very clean. The pool/spa was great and we enjoyed using them while we were there. We used our breakfast vouchers in the restaurant both mornings and the breakfast was free. It was nice to […] have that included. They even have a barista in the continental breakfast area that was making lattes and mochas for just tips! That was a great addition! The bed was very comfortable and I loved that since the hotel was older, it still had a bathtub to bathe the kids in and not just a shower! Clean comfortable except for love seat. Too low to sit very long. Food in restaurant for breakfast was great,better than other hotels food.

My family of 4 stayed for a single night. The hotel decor and furnishings (esp. phones and TVs) are quite dated, but the room was very clean and in good condition and also very spacious. The Hotels.com price made the stay an excellent value and we're likely to return.

The PDX Airport Shilo is my Go To hotel when I need a place to stay in Portland. I like several of the other hotels in the area, but I can always count on the Shilo. The only negative I find is that the hotel is a bit dated. The rooms are always super clean and immaculate - which is a big plus for a germaphobe like me. Free wifi is always appreciated. The […] staff is always super nice and very accommodating. Another big big plus in my book is the restaurant. Many of the newer places don't have restaurants, and the few that do close down really early. My son was on a flight home from Nicaragua and didn't arrive until late. Thankfully, we are able to feed him at Shilo. The restaurant has pretty good food. The clam chowder is super good. My husband and son love the blue cheese topped french fries. This hotel is great. The pool and hot tub are indoor and open 24 hours. They also have a shuttle that will take you to the airport and surrounding areas. The room was clean and a great value for the price. We will stay here again!!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The room was large w/2 Q size beds and included a separate area with t.v. table, chairs, couch, sink, micro, fridge. fridge even had a small freezer! Breakfast was delicious and servers were great. We did find it humorous that daily they would leave enough clean towels for 2 when there were 4 of us in the room. Although the decor is stuck in the 80's it is in very good shape and comfortable. We stayed in a Jr. King suite. It was like a small apartment. It had everything except a stove. 3 sinks, 3 tv's. A dinning room table. Tastefully decorated in the 80's or is still clean.

On checking in the staff asked where we would like to be located, we said close to the pool. They put us in the room across from the door to the pool! Exactly what we asked for! Didn't care for the free breakfast. They had a cold breakfast in the lobby and gave you a voucher to go to their restaurant and choose from a couple of different hot breakfasts. We went to the restauant & found out that we couldn't get juice with our breakfast unless we paid for it. You could have tea or coffee for free, but we don't drink either. I […] went back to the hotel to get the free juice they had their and bring back to the restaurant. When I complained to the front desk about it they did call over to the restaurant and allow us to have juice with our breakfast. That was nice of them, but it was such a pain. We had a great stay at the Shilo. Our room had everything that we needed. The shuttle service to and from the airport was a great convenience. We stay there every time we go to Portland. We look forward to our next stay there.

Hotel was standard airport hotel. We had an early morning flight and the shuttle was prompt and got us there in time.

Plus: The room layouts were good, nice pool, sauna, shuttle service and continental breakfast. Close to freeways and shopping at IKEA and Costco, etc. Staff was great. Minus: We were given a key for an occupied room, it was embarrassing walking in on another couple (they had to get their room re-keyed and probably some kind of compensation). Sarah the girl at the front desk put a bad taste in my mouth the minute we arrived, we thought we had booked directly with the hotel and we told her that and she in an accusatory manner became very "condescending" in an instant. "You did not book with us, you used someone else", explained we called the 800 number on website, "You did not book directly […] with us", it did not matter who we booked with, we still had reservations, she also took a call from someone who was waiting to be picked up at the airport by the shuttle from the hotel and she was rude with that person on the phone also. "You will just have to wait for them to pick you up, I can't help that you are waiting, they come as fast as they can". She also made me right down the name of my other room-mates, I have never had to do that before, we booked for 3 and not once were there 3 sets of towels in the rooms. Had to call for towels each day. The pillows were horrible, too soft and mushy, if you are going to use 1/2 pillows then they should equal to something worth putting your head on. She also only gave us 3 breakfast tickets and said we would have to come back every evening to get new tickets for the next morning, we are not children we can keep track of our own meal tickets, So for 3 nights we every time we entered the front lobby I was irritated instantly by the memory of how Sarah treated me and my friends. This was 3 grown women going on a trip to spend time with our kids in Portland. Shilo Inn Hotel, you should really monitor your check in employees, First impressions and being called a liar, is no way a customer should be treated. 더 보기
