가스램프 플라자 스위트 (Gaslamp Plaza Suites) - 샌디에이고

회의관계로 4일 숙박했습니다. 오래된 시설이지만 오히려 아늑한 분위기입니다. 전자랜지와 싱크 식기류가 있어 부실한 호텔제공 아침식사말고 간단한 아 침을 만들수 있습니다. 소음관련 의견이 있던데 주변 업소나 행인의 소음이 없는것은 아니지만 그닥 심하지 않습니다

Absolutely beautiful hotel with gorgeous architecture and history. Right in the middle of the gas lamp district so very convenient to everything. Very comfortable rooms and service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice room close to services.

The room was really narrow, and there was practically no where to sit other then the bed. Other then that the place was really close to al the bars, and that's what it matter to me the most.

Hotel staff was quite nice as we had an issue with our room (needed two separate beds though were given a double bed at check-in) though we really had to push to get what we wanted... Hotel is located not far from the convention center (10-15 min on foot), though the neighbourhood didn't seem to be very friendly. I loved this hotel. The location, the architecture, the marble, the top floor, the mirrors...everything was top notch! I will definitely come back!

The coffee maker was broke, so I could not enjoy my morning coffee right after waking up.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday this last weekend and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. If you're looking for a hotel in downtown San Diego--STAY HERE. The hotel is historic and couldn't have been more comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was cozy. Everything was very clean (I'm a neat freak and it was up to my […] standards). The room came with a mini fridge, microwave and sink, which was convenient for keeping our leftovers cold. The best part for us was waking up in the morning and getting FREE breakfast and coffee on the gorgeous ROOFTOP. It was a breathtaking view and a great way to start the morning. The location is fabulous. It's right in the middle of the Gaslamp district where you can walk to fun bars and restaurants. We walked to the Lincoln Room Bar, which had muddled cocktails and excellent food. The only downfall of this hotel is that you have to pay for vallet parking (which was pricey) but the hotel and awesome restaurants completely made up for it. Great hotel. 더 보기

If you are traveling with kids, AVOID this place at all costs. If you need to sleep at night, AVOID this place at all costs. But if you're planning to party all night long, this place is for you. - The Gaslamp district is where young adults party all night long. It's so loud outside you can't get any sleep, at least not until 2-3am... While you're […] tossing and turning, you will most likely hear police yelling through speakerphones to control drunk college kids. - Windows and walls are thin as paper. We were staying on the 10th Floor but could hear every single word of what people were saying on the ground level outside. That's just wrong... - Receptionist wasn't helpful when we asked to change rooms. She looked at me like I should just accept the fact that we're in the Gaslamp district and that we were the dumb ones to be staying there. - While some people might enjoy the old-day feel of the interior, many things are outdated. - Microwave smelled like old ramen noodles - The sofa bed was SUPER THIN and uncomfortable - Complimentary breakfast did not impress us at all. Overall I like the location and hotel. There is a nice continental breakfast on a patio which is nice (nothing too fancy to eat though.) The only issue I had was that the previous guest threw up next to the window and I could still smell it and the old pipes in the bathroom were very noisy. Certainly affordable cost was a positive at this hotel, as was location directly downtown. The rooftop eating location was wonderful, but the food was ghastly; almost inedible. Had to go elsewhere because it was so bad--and I'm cheap!

Please understand when booking this hotel, that it is in the downtown gaslamp area, which is a very vibrant, noisy-at-night, downtown area with lots of night life. There is therefore lots of noise through the night. This however is nothing to do with the hotel. Although this hotel is in an old building the standard of cleanliness and quality of furniture […] and finishes in the room is excellent. Location means that many attractions and lots of restaurants, bars, etc. are only a few minutes walk away. In view of the expensive overnight parking rates I would suggest, if possible, not renting a vehicle and just walking around. Loved the hotel and would stay here again. Stayed here Saturday and Sunday night around the SD Half Marathon. IDEAL location for those who want to bar/pub/restaurant crawl, but not necessarily for those who want to sleep, at least not on friday and Sat nights. IIdeal location the Petco Park 1/2 marathon. We walked to Seaport Village and all over downtown!!!!

This is a reasonably good hotel close to the convention center in the middle of all restaurants in the gaslamp area. Breakfast was disappointing but the rooftop was very nice. We had a suite with one bedroom and one living room which was good for two people.

Within walking distance of the GasLamp district clubs and great restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Only a couple of complaints: suite was a little cramped (closet door hit the bed when you opened it) -- but this is an old classic building, so you have to expect that. You could hear noise from the street, again that was not the hotel's fault, the […] city was doing some maintenance below -- and we were there on a Sunday, they wrapped up work by Monday. So my first complaint that is the hotel's fault is they have are selling timeshares at breakfast. So while you are trying to enjoy a quite breakfast from their lovely rooftop dining area, you have no choice but to listen to some sales lady on a microphone who thinks she is funny (she is not). We weren't there for the timeshare, so we went elsewhere for breakfast (there are a couple of great places open for breakfast just down the block). The second complaint would be they charge for parking, about $14 per day, though it is valet. They also charge $9.95 per day for WiFi, which is kind of lame. perfect location, great friendly staff !! Walk to great resturants and their is plenty of night life available.

The biggest problem I had with my room at the Gaslamp Plaza Suites Hotel was the size of the room. I have never stayed in such a small room, it was like stepping into a slightly oversized closet. Absolutely loved the layout of this hotel. The room was very roomy and had lots of seating for guests. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was very nice. Great location...until you go to bed. You can walk to all the great bars and restaurants but you can also hear all the commotion from your room. Good people, great location, nice rooftop breakfast/morning retreat space. property is showing age and needs some reinvestment but it is clean and comfortable especially for the price. Very well located for bar hopping the gas lamp district.

Can't remember the last time we walked away from a sight-unseen online hotel booking feeling so satisfied with our choice. Small but very comfortable rooms, great mattress, real furniture. Pleasant helpful staff who gave great advice about local attractions. Mini-kitchenette area with microwave/sink/mini-fridge/coffee-maker/corkscrew and two place […] settings worth of china and utensils give you a civilized place to bring back some take out if you want a change of pace from the local restaurants. Nice continental breakfast buffet with great views from roof-top terrace. Great locations - in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter - walking distance to evening entertainment and dining. Walking distance to the USS Midway tour/museum and a short drive to Balboa Park and the Zoo. Valet parking at the Gaslamp is a good deal even for frugal travellers ... unlimited in and out for a flat daily rate just a few dollars more than the nearby public lots that charge each time you enter and leave. 더 보기

Gorgeous old hotel with nice rooms. Kitchenette wasn't great and the continental breakfast was very basic with cheap products. I expected a nicer breakfast given the price.

I was a little reticent when I walked into the lobby, but the rooms are very nice. They are warm and inviting. The service was very good. This hotel is surrounded by great restaurants in the Gaslamp District. The price was right. This is a historic hotel. It at one time was a bank so in one way it is very elegant. But, in another way it's rather dosolate. The parking fee was $28 and it would have been helpful to know that up front. We expected a fee but not that much. The breakfast was so-so. Cereal, juice, muffins, toast made with cheap bread. This hotel has a great location in the Gas Lamp area of San Diego. No car is needed. Our suite was comfortable, roomy and clean. We had a corner suite on the 7th floor which gave us a beautiful view out the floor to ceiling windows facing south and west.
