I was in three different rooms over 8 nights. I arrived in the middle of the night and was given a terrible third floor room at the side, very noisy and clearly badly needing a major overhaul - not dirty per se but grimy. I complained and upgraded (an extra €23) to a newly decorated corner room (#820) with a panoramic view of the Nile. Magnificant comfort, […] in a huge room. For the last night I moved to the 6th floor, on the same side as the original room, and found it had been fully renovated. It turns out they are gradually renovating, and doing a fine job. So the 4 rating I gave on the condition will be a five within a short time, I expect. Breakfast is very good. I was ill at one point and a doctor and chemist service were provided at no great expense very promptly in the middle of the night and staff were suitably concerned. This hotel has a minimal but adequate reception area. Don't be looking for too many extras, but the location is great - and yes, do, if you can afford it, get a view of the Nile. 더 보기

Great neighborhood for Euro-Americans. One drawback is very limited street access makes it difficult for local guides to come by and pick up clients. On the other hand very walk able neighborhood. Free Wifi! Also a pleasant bar off lobby.

When you book in make sure you , that you check the room before agreeing to accept this one you may be given a smoking room which ,if you can't stand the stench in the room it may take you a good while to get it changed . but other wise staff quite helpful . breakfast ok .

The Flamenco is not a top-notch hotel, but it is good value and in a good location. If you don't want to be unnecessarily cossetted, you might be pleased with it.

An old hotel but reasonably maintained. Room was spacious but the aircon was noisy. The included breakfast was fine. The hotel is in one of the better parts of Cairo. This is a very tired hotel in a nice area of Cairo. The staff is tired; one begs for coffee at breakfast. The staff there seem mad that they had to come to work. The hotel Internet is rather good, possibly the best part of the stay.

I reserved a room with three twin beds, they gave us a full sized bed. I asked for the correct room since my brothers and I are three fully grown men. After much conversation, they agreed to "call me in the morning." They didn't. The next night they brought a small stained mattress with no blankets. Our friend stopped by to hang out. The hotel staff […] very rudely kicked her out of the hotel, even involving the armed guard. They yelled, "No visitors! No visitors!" Knowing the culture, I understood why they wouldn't let a female into our room, and asked for another room for her. They said no for two days. Finally on the third day, they offered to make an exception for her, offering smaller room at a price almost 4 times the price we paid. This discrimination towards females is common here, and not everyone will have such problems, but the hotel is trash. Nun, ich kenne das Hotel seit der Revolution Januar 2011. Die Veränderung ging wirklich nur nach unten. Vor allem das Servicepersonal ist einfach nur schwer von Begriff, da das Zuhören wenig die Stärke im Allgemein ist, dadurch muss ich mehr als 2x anrufen und muss sehr lange auf die Durchführung des Services warten wie nötig. Viele viel Zeit habe ich […] daran verschwendet ins WLAN zu kommen und wenn ich drin war sind die Übertragungsraten einfach viel zu schwach und absolut unbrauchbar für einen normalen einfachen File runterzuladen. Die Standardzimmer sind eine Zumutung für jemand der grösser als 180 cm ist. ZUUUU Klein und extrem Sauerstoffarm. Die Fenster kann man öffnen aber dafür bleibt vom Haus aus " aufgrund der Chefanweisungen " die FAN Funktion der Klimaanlage nur auf heiss gestellt wenns draussen sogar rund um die 25 grad sind. 22年前に鳴り物入りでザマーレク地区にできた四つ星ホテルで、今でも手ごろな価格で使いやすいホテルとは言える。ただし、設備は全般に古びてきていて、適宜に器機を新しいものに交換するというのができていない。テレビやエアコンは、そろそろどうにかした方がよい。スタンダードルームは相当手狭なので、使うならデラックス以上の部屋がおすすめ。1階のバーは比較的安価に各種のお酒が楽しめる。その点ではザマーレク地区では唯一と言える。ネット接続はかなり遅い。あと、ホテルと空港の送迎サービスが45ドルというのは、近隣の三つ星クラスのホテルの7倍くらいの値段設定でいただけない。日本人のビジネスマンの利用が多いのは、やはり手頃な価格帯に設定されているからだろう。

創業以来25年近くの間に何度か宿泊したが、全体に部屋がくたびれてきた感じ。入室した時には部屋の電球が全部切れていた。スタンダードの部屋はかなり手狭だが、ジュニアスイートなどは安い割に快適に使える広さがある。書き物机は使いやすいが、卓上灯がないのが不便。レストラン、カフェやバー2種が一通り揃っているのはこのクラスのカイロのホテルでは評価できる。とくに1階のバーはザマレク界隈では数少ない手頃な価格でお酒が飲める。

Very close to perfect. Hotel is very comfortable, service outstanding, and the area in Zamalek is very very good. 在埃及的使馆区，酒店对面就是24小时的超市，很方便，附近还有快餐店跟一个不错的饭店。去埃及博物馆也很近。总体满意。

Very nice hotel, along the Nile. Not too glamoureous, but straightforward, friendly, good facilities, good kitchen and breakfast buffet. So take this as a good tip.
