Disgusting. My worst motel experience yet. The first room that I was given had blood along the shower walls. The Days Inn employee working at the front counter came into my room and after seeing the blood on the shower walls, apologized explaining that “someone had stayed in the room for 2 weeks, so it was especially dirty”. I replied letting her know […] that regardless of the amount of time that someone stayed in the room, the room should still be cleaned properly. She then tried to give the excuse that they only had a part time housekeeper. The Days Inn employee then continued to take me to 3 other rooms that either had hair stuck to the shower walls or were not cleaned properly so much so that she did not let me view 2 of the rooms. The 5th room that we finally sufficently cleaned, however, still the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. I understand that this motel is inexpensive, however, inexpensive should not mean unsanitary. Not only were the light blue sheets uncleaned and smelled of other body odor, they were also old and the alastic had worn out on the fitted sheet, so I found myself battling with it all night, not to end up on the exposed mattress. It was a breezy and rainy night outside, and the Days Inn signage (that is viewed from the freeway) had broken. It was right outside my room, so I heard metal clanking against metal all night long. When I asked if that would be fixed, the Days Inn employee told me “No”. In addition, the heater was increablly loud. I attempted to turn it off when I tried to sleep, but then it got very cold in the room, so I was forced to put it back on. I could hear it above my ear plugs. Worst hotel experience thus far. 더 보기
