I believe that when you go somewhere long enough that you need a hotel, you are not going there to spend all your time in the hotel room. Having said that, there were some issues with this place. I like that there is a restaurant onsite, good Greek food. I had some issues with the toilet not flushing all the way, and in fact flooding, but they did respond […] and fixed the toilet and mopped up the water, so I give them credit. But the bathroom was another story. It is extremely cramped and I had no arm and leg room while using the toilet. Also, the curtains closed, but not all the way. There could also have been more vending machines, so I would not have to go to the next floor to get a cold drink. Overall, I think this hotel had some positives, but also some negatives. I did not hate staying here, but when I come back to Virginia Beach in 2013, I will probably not stay here. 더 보기

The hotel room was clean, however our room did not come with a "do not disturb" sign while some others did. The service was fine, I didn't expect much as the hotel doesn't have the best ratings, but the staff was nice. The room we were in had a medium sized fridge and TV. Every thing was great except that we didn't have a refrigerator nor microwave. It wasn't stated on the confirmation. This is the first Hotel ever to charge extra for a refrigerator and microwave. The service was great. I wouldn't refer anyone to this Hotel because it didn't show the complete items that were in the room.

Does not look too bad from outside but needs major facility upgrade. Power not working in all outlets in room, another room had bugs, towels thin, cramped conditions, poof maid service, coffee pot not replenished, lobby breakfast staid. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was located perfectly for the event we came for (the Shamrock Marathon) and we were able to check out late afterwards. This hotel was great for the location. However, the room was pretty dirty. There was dirt on the walls, like it has not been painted for quite some time. There was a beer bottle left on the balcony. They only gave us three towels for four people, so we used our beach towels rather than bother with the front desk attitude. We chose this hotel because […] it had a pool. When we got there, the door to the rooftop pool was locked and it was closed down, I'm guessing for the season. That would have been nice to know before we made the reservation. Very strange hotel, as it is only one room wide. The maid service came into our room and we didn't request it, since we were only there for two nights. I'm glad that I had my purse with me. Will not stay here again. We found the hotel across the street had a nice restaurant and an indoor heated pool and hot tub. I will look into staying there first! 더 보기

I would strongly suggest staying away from this hotel for numerous reasons . . . Dirty, Dank, Smelly and overall just a creepy place. A cheap place for the party crowd to crash. Pictures are not accurate. Stayed there with my family and it was a horrible experience.

I have been going to Va beach for 40 years and this is the first time I have stayed at this end of the beach. Wonderful location, better class of people, nicer section of the beach, play area right there on the beach. Great price and free breakfast! Wonderful situation for the kids. This hotel is great if you are looking for something cheap and within walking distance to the oceanfront. I liked the view of the oceanfront from the balcony. Was surprised that there really is an un-obstructed view of the ocean - but you need to call ahead and request the 5th floor. We stayed in room 508 - great view. This is not a hotel you're staying at for luxury - just a decent price. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating - ***ONE THING TO NOTE ***- no mini fridge or microwave except for on […] the first level. Take coolers and use ice machines. Elevators feel like saunas. Breakfast is cereal, muffins, and juices/milk/coffee. Nothing nutritious. Lots of places to walk to and there are outside bathrooms across the street when you go to the beach. For the price, I would recommend. For luxury, free hot breakfast and fluff – go somewhere else. I didn't find the hotel staff to be very friendly. Asked for extra towels but never got them! The elevtor was kinday creepy (and there was only one). Other than that it was a great hotel. The room was clean and very comfy. The pool was great. Quick walk to the beach. Lots of attractions and resturants near by. Would def. stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! Quick, easy check-in. They even let us check in early! Very clean room! Beds were super comfortable and clean. This room is ok if you are not going to be in it except to sleep. The AC drained all over the balcony, which was only big enough for 2 people to stand. Carpets were dirty, linens were acceptable, bathroom sink had a smell coming from the drain, iron worked less than well and dripped water all over my clothing. The view was great from my room, but if […] you were in any of the rooms past mine, your view was the nicer Hampton Inn or the parking lot. Many of the staff were not quite the "happiest". The elevator was broken down at least once daily and the stair wells were usually soaking wet from people coming from the rooftop pool, which was tragic at best. Not bad for the price, but microwave and refrigerator did not work. I had to supply my own ice chest/cooler for my drinks and food.

The room was in bad shape. The door wouldnt lock or unlock with hitting it. The elevator was really bad. Im handcap and it was really hot and bad at shaking. The free breaksfast was a joke. I like the location of the Hotel because It's close to the beach (just across the street and you can see the beach from the balcony too), the only thing I don't like is the breakfast. and the hotel is full, they were out of the toils. And also they suppose to supervise the people who cleans the rooms because they don't do it correctly.

If you are considering this hotel, you are probably looking for a bargain rather than a resort with all the amenities. We were close to the beach and the strip, had no problems parking or getting around, and enjoyed a pleasant stay. We had some maintenance issues when we checked in (toilet didn't flush, shower didn't drain, TV remote was missing) but […] they were addressed within minutes. The cleanliness was adequate, the breakfast food was fine, and the desk staff were pleasant. There is also a rooftop pool that is rarely used but was nice. Here's the positive: clean sheets and bathroom!! The negative..to which there is much...the carpet in the lobby and my room was NASTY; it's been years since a cleaner has been near any carpet. It was nice that we could check in early. We could plainly see that the Hotel was empty. The room was okay, in that the bed appeared to be clean, however the carpet, furniture, and bathroom was seriously outdated and appeared not clean due to this we believe? The service? We weren't aware of any service and the pool was closed, it was 80 degrees out? […] The areas in which the soda/ice machine is located looked filthy. The hotel, although close to the beach, had questionable clientele, and we did not feel safe. Our room was on the ground floor and we heard the trash being taken out all night!! The room seemed clean enough, but was definitely a grungy motel feel. It was damp in the room and certainly not worth the price!!! Location was great - just across the street from Neptune's Park which meant a view of the ocean, not another hotel. Staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. My families stay was ok. Location was ok. Even though the hotel was not oceanfront, the ocean was directly across the street for the hotel and there was no obstruction by and other structure. Overall an ok stay.

We were really pleased with our stay. I was worried that it was going to be low-rent and icky, but it wasn't. It's not a fancy new updated hotel, that's true, but we booked last minute and had kids and grandparents with us. Great location, right on Atlantic Ave. Across the street from beach so it was more economical than beachfront rooms.

Negative: The pictures displayed are not what the rooms looked like, front desk staff were young adults with no hospitality experience, they gave another guest a key to our room & the guest opened the door while we were in the room (very scary), never got housekeeping during our whole stay & had to pick up clean towels from the front desk, hotel needs […] to be renovated, old rusty elevator, we've stayed in other Ramada hotels and they were never this run down. Great location. We were right across the street by the Neptune Statue. We were within walking distance of many things to do and were only about 10 minutes from the aquarium. Great value for the money.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! For the budget money, stay somewhere else in Virginia Beach. This Ramada is one step away from being a rats nest: noisy rooms, uncomfortable beds, out dated furnishings, lousy elevator. This place reminds me of the kinda hotel you stayed in back the 1970s with your parents on a budget vacation back in the 1970s.

The room was large but the hotel was aged and could use some work. We would stay there again but would be afraid to recommend it.

We expected the hotel to be of lower quality due to the price but if are staying longer than a night "Move On". It definately needs an overhaul, seemed dirty and unkept. Elevator was like a sauna with cig burns everywhere. My kids felt like they were "unsafe" staying there.

I enjoy are stay hope to see u next year
