I choose this hotel because it was close to where I was getting my hair and make up done the next day for my wedding. At 2:30am, someone walked into my room and were able to get in because not only were they given the key to my room and sent there, but the bar lock was not secured all the way to the wall and did not keep the door from opening. We had […] to call the front desk to ask the people that were given access to our room to stop yelling in the hallway and to change the code to our door. We did not sleep well the rest of the night. We received an apology and a "we don't know how this happened." The continental breakfast was just okay. But I would not stay here again. 더 보기

This is the second time I've stayed at Fairfield Inn Saginaw. All areas are very clean; room, bathroom, breakfast area, grounds. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly. Will stay there again next time I'm in town.

WE STAYED ONLY ONE NIGHT. WAS CLEAN AND IN A GREAT AREA BUT THE BEDS WERE LIKE SOUP BOWLS SO SOFT YOU JUST SINK IN THE MIDDLE. WAS NOT GOOD FOR MY BACK AT ALL WE PAID THE EXTRA FOR FAIRFEILD BECAUSE WE STAYED IN THEM IN FLORIDA AND THEY WERE GREAT. BUT THIS LOCATION WAS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. ICE ON FIRST FLOOR ONLY. WE WERE ON THE 3RD.

Honestly, we assumed with the Mariott name attached that the hotel would be pretty nice. The room was very clean and the beds were exceptional- just as cozy as at home. The bathroom was good sized, and the free HBO was a perk! The air conditioning was also really good- we were actually cold when we walked in. The location is pretty convinient in regards […] to dining as their are a ton of restaurants along the strip closest to it. The staff, however, was a con. We had asked for a fridge for our room on Saturday night and were told it would be delivered Sunday morning. But, when we got back to the hotel Sunday evening it wasn't there. We called the front desk and the staff member told us they were all out so we were, "out of luck." My husband went down to chat with her about the comment and, miraculously, she ended up "finding" an "extra" fridge in an unused room. A lot of unneeded drama for no good reason. Also, beware of the pool-- it is extremely SMALL! From the pictures it seemed normal sized, but it was wasn;t even big enough to swim a half-lap, and the "hot tub" was filthy. (We wouldn't even go in it because the tile was so dirty.) All in all, if you only need a place to sleep this hotel is definitely worth it for the beds alone. Just don't expect much more regardless of the Mariott name. 더 보기

Comparing to posted reviews, the Fairfield in Saginaw has made some improvements since then. First, new HD TV sets were installed in the rooms. The pool area is very clean, although the chlorine smell wafts into the first floor. The hotel does not front on Fountain Square Blvd (you have to turn onto Tharaldson Dr to get there) and a sign is needed to […] get there. I enjoyed my stay and yes I would recommend this establishment to someone.The staff was accommodating and very friendly. The continental breakfasts can be a little better than it was, but all in all the breakfast served the purpose. I was comfortable with my stay and will stay again.

brkfst was fist come first serve. gone most of the day and still did not clean our room. If your a non smoker you may choke walking in & out since the staff and patrons smoke right outside the front door

Our stay was generally fine. A few things were amiss,but the hotel did try to address them promptly. The beds are very soft. They did try to improve the problem (for me) by turning the mattress and putting " a stiffer pad" on. It did not help, so if you like harder beds do not stay here. Good location, Beds were comfortable, free - more than continental - breakfast, and LCD screen in room. Very pleased.

It is better if the breakfest have more choice, like hot plate - eggs or bacan

Quiet, clean room. Close to many restaurant type places. Good breakfast in the morning.

The room was fairly nice for the price. It was quiet as well which was appreciated. It was modern looking as well. The air conditioning didn't work the greatest but thankfully it wasn't too hot out yet. Most of all the beds were SUPER COMFORTABLE!! Continental breakfast was sufficient.

I had a brief, overnight stay. The Fairfield Inn in Saginaw maintains the consistency that you expect from the brand name. It's clean, well lit, and the staff was helpful. Breakfast offerings were adequate: dry cereal, reheatable Bob Evans breakfast foods, apples, bananas (mostly green), and various breads for toasting. The room was clean and comfortable, […] the bathroom was roomy, and the bath-shower was great. Approaching from the west, it's a little hard to spot the Fairfield Inn-- it's tucked in behind a frontage building and its facade is perpendicular to Tittabawassee Road. Maybe I missed the roadside signage, but I had to double back on Tittabawassee to find Fashion Square Blvd and the FFI. It's easier to spot it you're approaching from the east, but it's still tucked in 100 yards or so off the main. The FFI rate was a full 30% less than the other hotel chain that I typically stay at. The room was every bit as nice, though the breakfast offerings were a little light. 더 보기

The staff were especially helpful to my mother who is in a wheelchair; my one concern is that the handicapped bathroom had a piece of trim to the entrance which made it difficult for my mother to get her wheelchair over it without assistance

This hotel was everything I was hoping for since it is a Marriot property. It is fairly new. The staff was prompt and courteous with any questions I had. We were in town for a hockey tournament so we did not spend much time in the room but it was clean, comfortable and bright. Hotel was 4 minutes from rink we were playing at. I took my wife and an older lady shopping in Saginaw this hotel is in walking distance of a great mall and only minutes from many wonderful choice restaurants We enjoyed our stay the breakfast was hot and OK The room was very clean as was the whole facility We are a mature couple and travel to many cities

The hotel was above and beyond our expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast that they offered had a great deal to choose from and was very good.

I don't have any complaints about this hotel. It was cute, modern, and the bed/pillows were super cozy. The pool, hot tub, and continental breakfast were also a plus. I'd recommend it, and stay there again for sure. The construction on 675 was horrible though, but that's not the hotels fault.

When I checked in, I was treated as a welcome guest. The lady at the front desk was cheerful, welcoming and helpful. I met the manager the next morning who was very genial as well. The room was smallish and nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with very good pressure and hot water in the shower. Window had light exclusion shades - good for first […] floor windows especially, if you don't want people to see into your room from the parking area. The bed was comfortable for me - on the softer side, and with lots of pillows. Also, free internet. Pool looked nice, but I got to the hotel late, and didn't want to indulge. Breakfast was pretty standard, they had cereal and yogurt, coffee and juice. They had assorted breads with a toaster, as well as a section of those microwave-able breakfast sandwiches. Not great, but for free, definitely not bad. Restaurants in the area seemed plentiful - mostly chains, but it appears that there is a steak place and a sushi place nearby. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Check in was fine but as soon as I heading for the elevator I knew this was not what I expected. The carpet in the elevator looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. Chunks of food and other things (a finger nail for one) were there permanent residents my entire stay. The room was clean(ish) and bed comfortable. […] However I would have gotten a better night’s sleep if the sheets stayed on and actually fit the bed. Also, the cleaning team likes to slam doors and make a lot of noise. If you plan on trying to sleep later than 7:30 or so, bring ear plugs. At check out, there was another customer leaving and she actually had the manager come so she could complain about the staff entering their room and leaving it open while they cleaned the entire second floor. I know I walked by multiple rooms where the door was wide open and you could see all of the belongings of the people staying there. Someone could easily have walked in and taken whatever they wanted. No one was around and there was no sign of staff. All in all, it is not worth the money or frustration. Save yourself headaches and don’t stay there. 더 보기

This was a very decent hotel in mid-Michigan... nothing fancy but very much met expectations. If I had to complain: anolog TV, scratchy/cheap towels, only one lamp (w/ a single bulb) for two beds on night stand. If I had to give props: very nice bed, good wireless.

We had several short power outages in our brief stay.
