Hotel is about 5 miles from Virgina Tech, nice and quiet area. Ok breakfast. Clean hotel.

The people were very nice and professional. The hotel itself was very clean, however, the quality of it's construction is cheap. You can hear conversations in the hallways and the flushing of toilets. I found the continental breakfast to be very satisfying. Overall it is a good value for the money.

The Comfort Inn in Blacksburg, VA, is a nice place to stay at a reasonable price -- and breakfast is included. Clean and comfortable and nicely outfitted. My only complaint was the shower head in the bathroom. It was turned on high -- a sharp stinging stream -- and I couldn't change it. I'm 5'1" but even that was to short to reach it and change the […] setting. I made the best of it by not putting my face and other parts of my body into the stream but I had to clean up the water when I was done. 더 보기

Front door needs to have a fouryer built in as the front automatic door opens diectly to the outside. The on demand TV was not at all convent.

The price was right but the hotel appears as if everything is jammed together. I guess its because I am use to staying at the Marriott where it is very spacious and the decor is magnificent. I would not recommend this hotels to other but if I needed to stay here again I would but only as a last resort. And that is just this particular Comfort Inn. The […] staff was awesome. 더 보기

Nice place at a reasonable price.

This was a real oasis at the end of a long day of travel. There were no surprises. It was a good experience.

Stayed here the night before VT winter graduation. Hotel is about halfway between Tech and Christiansburg,and right off of 460, so it was very convenient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was clean and ready for us, even though we were a bit early. Since they we not busey we were able to arrange a late checkout without problem. I have stayed here before and will continue to do so in the future.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for one night while visiting our son, who's attending nearby Virginia Tech. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the university and also because it is pet-friendly, (we were traveling with the family dog). We had a king bedroom on the second floor. The room was quite comfortable, with a small fridge, microwave, […] coffee maker. The bathroom was in need of an update -- our shower curtain rod had pulled away from the wall a bit so that the curtain sagged, and water sprayed out over the top. The only other negative -- two sports teams were also staying there and took over the very small breakfast room in the morning, so we had to take our food back to our room to eat. Otherwise, the room was fine for an overnight stay -- staff at the front desk was friendly and efficient, price was reasonable. We would probably stay here again for a quick visit to Blacksburg. 더 보기

We stayed here for Homecoming weekend, and lost power in our hotel room the morning of the game. We contacted the front desk and after much delay, we were finally offered a room key to go use the electric outlets in the other room so we could finish getting ready. We then returned the set of keys to the front desk as we were leaving for the day. When […] we were leaving, we were assured that everything would be taken care of by the time we got back in that evening. We came back to the hotel Saturday night around 10pm only to find we were still without power. We returned to the front desk where the staff was very unhelpful. They seemed confused by our whole situation and unaware that anything was wrong. We felt like they didn't see why we couldn't just stay in our room with no power. Finally, they found out that another room was available and gave us keys to a different hotel room. Our next problem was how to be able to move all of our luggage, when we couldn't see in the room or in the bathroom. We returned and told the front desk agent this, and she was very upset that we had come back to the front desk. I asked if the hotel had any 'emergency equipment' such as a flashlight and she said no. (I'm not sure if they do or do not have a flashlight, but nobody even looked for us). Luckily another guest in the hotel overheard our problem and went to their car and brought us a flashlight to borrow to be able to switch rooms. I am very upset that we had to go through this, and were offered little to no help in the situation. We were told that no manager was on duty, and that none would be called. We are lucky that none of us hurt ourselves trying to manage through the dark room looking for our belongings. I expect when I pay to stay at the Comfort Inn I would be treated with better service, more compassion, and better results for a problem situation. 더 보기

I have to say that this was not a pleasant experience at a hotel. The bed was not comfortable and the carpeting in the hotel needs to be replaced. I must say that the staff is quite pleasant and helpful which is a definite plus.
