The hotel staff was courteous and went overboard to ensure our stay was comfortable.

the hotel is a complete disgrace. i haver been trying to get a hold of the owner of the hotel who will not speak to me and all i get is his name is "bobby". what kind of customer service is this???

Enjoyed my stay..nice and helpful employees... place will be great when all re-modeling is done. Love the town and best of luck..

The staff was very courteous and our only complaint was that the pool was not heated and spa had only one jet working with cold water. Breakfast good and clean rooms.

Our room (#206) had a leaky shower, busted lamp, busted exhaust fan in the bathroom, musty smell, no fitted sheets on the bed, a torn box spring on the bed, TV remote was broken, air conditioner leaked on the floor. The ONLY plus was the proximity to Colonial Williamsburg

Nothing bad about it nor was there anything great. I wouldn't stay there again only based on there where other Hotels closer to better food spots but it was a descent hotel overall for the price.

For the five rooms reselve on our group, the hotel has broken doors, faucet were broken and rusty at the shower missing even the knob, it has a strong smell of paint in the room. The breafast was really nothing good. The AC was hanging out of the wall not properlly install with improper power extention conection.

This is the most run down hotel we ever stayed in. I would not recommend. While the location is great--you can walk to historic Williamsburg, pay the extra a get a more clean, less sabby place to hang your hat--it was a rough three days.

The hotel was okay. Ya know, not great but okay. I didn't pay for a five star hotel so of course I didn't get one. Ice maker on 2nd floor does not work. The one on the first floor worked but was in poor condition. Breakfast was hot waffles, hot coffee, sweet rolls, two different cereals, milk, several types of juice, toast. The hotel served its purpose for the price. I don't think I would stay there again, there are plenty of other hotels in the area around the same price.

The lobby was the nicest part of this hotel. The room was stuffy because the air conditioner was not the best, the floors were damp and also were not clean around the table or sink area, the beds were not comfortable at all. I would not recommend staying here!

My husband and I were traveling and needed a cheap nice place to stay. For what we paid it exceeded our expectations. Would recommend for the budget traveler.

It was OK. For a last minute weekend trip. It was OK. Now I know to avoid pet friendly hotels. Not for me. But for the price, about what I figured I'd get, I got. Overall not bad. Location to Colonial Williamsburg was a definate plus. Room appeared clean. It's ok for the price you pay, nothing fancy, very close to Bush Gardens

The place is clean and near. Took our trip in 1st week of October and the place is a great deal for the price. The room is big for myself, my wife and out kid and all the stuff we have to carry when traveling with kids. The best thing is its convenient drive for colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. This hotel is very conveinently located and the room was clean and confortable. Our main concern was the holes in the shower ceiling that would gush water when the room above us would use their shower. We brought this to the desks attention and they did have it "fixed" the same day. By fixed, they just spackled over the holes. There was still a pipe […] leak that still dripped someone else's drain water into our tub. I appreciate their effort, but the room never should have been rented with that unsanitary condition. 더 보기

This hotel is within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. We were coming from Busch Gardens late evening and we did have to wait a long time (30 mins) to check in. This was because of the people in front of us, but I think the person working at the desk probably could have expedited the situation a little quicker. I was disappointed at the cleanliness of this hotel. We would not eat their "free" breakfast because of this. There was construction going on IN our room. I would not go back to this hotel.

The location of the hotel was nice, and the breakfast was good. The room we were in was dirty, and we got locked inside because the lock was broken. The pool was really dirty and the hot tub was also. The channels on the television were not correct and they did not have HBO which they said they did. Its a HO-JO for not much money within very easy walking distance of Historic Williamsburg and 5-minute drives to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Its an older place with maintenance needs. Chipped paint is one thing but lose electrical wires for lights in the hot tub was scary.

The only 2 problems that we had during our stay was the hot tub was not hot on the first day we were there and on Tuesday they ran out of waffle mix for breakfast. But other than that we were well satisfied with the hotel.

Our first impression was a bad one. The hotel manager was very rude to us at check-in. He made it very clear that he was not happy about the price we paid because we had 3 children with us. He seemed to think we should have paid more, and made it clear that the difference was coming out of his pocket. He was not pleasant at all. The room itself was […] fine, considering the low cost. The cleaning staff did a great job! The continental breakfast was very poorly managed. There was not much variety at all. It was quite chaotic. Good location

if you wont somewhere to stay for cheep it would be good if you dont mind hair stubbles all over the shower wall that was pertty grose the beds are only full sizes (2 small) but it is only 5 mins from bush garden free breakfest so over all it wasnt so bad just needed a good cleaning

They gave me a room that had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Once I went back to the desk to report it they gave me a new room. A simple mistake.Overall great value for the price and very convenient also very close to Busch Gardens.

they did not have my room that i paid for,so i had to settle for what they had left.they gave me another room instead,the pull sofa bed did not have ant sheets or nothing on the bed,then i had to make my own bed.So iwill never stay there again,i wish i could get my money back for the room.Im really mad that i was treated that way.

clean and comfortable room though i dont understand why everything including the refrigrator was unplugged without notice to us.for people staying to enjoy colonial williamsburg and dont mind a long leisurely walk to get there its ideal for the price.staff is polite and curtious.

This hotel was awful in my opinion. The first room that was given to us the toilet didn't flush nor work. We then asked for another room and that room was disgusting. The lamp shades were all broken and hanging off the lamps. The wall was sheet rock with nail heads sticking out. There was body shower that was actually leftover from a previous hotel […] guest that was left on the sink. I was in total shock of this room. When we checked out the next morning, the guy behind the counter actually had a shirt with mustard stains all down the front and was just absolutely non-professional looking. I will never stay in a Howard Johnson hotel again nor would I even suggest this hotel for anyone. 더 보기

If you like hard beds with no pillows this is the place for you.

It was a good place to stay. It was pretty clean considering that they allow pets. We took our dog and it worked out great. It was not far from the outlets and BG and WC. I would recommend and I would stay again.
