The hotel was convenient to the airport and the shuttle service was fine and easy to locate/use. My only reservation was that room service wasn't super convenient and the surrounding restaurants did not suit/seem appealing. The staff was very friendly and I did feel welcomed. The rooms were clean, albeit a little older and in need of a little refurbishment. […] My TV didn't work one night, but was replaced by the time I got back in my room the second night, so that was nice. My wife and I stayed at this hotel twice on our recent trip to Charlotte area, It is nice and close to airport but rooms are very dirty, especially the bathroom, hallways smell quite musty and staff was not very helpful

The bathroom was not clean and it was reported immediately. The keys were not working properly. The front desk manager was not pleasant at all she was very insulting, we immediately sent an email to the general mgr who never responded. I will never state at these properties again.

This hotel worked out well for what we needed: an overnight layover on our way back to Boston. The room was clean, the staff friendly and they had a free airport shuttle which was ideal for our situation. Unfortunately it was really difficult to get food delivered at 10 PM at night when we landed and it took over an hour for the local pizza place to […] make the pizza and deliver it. The only real issue with this hotel is the shuttle service. We placed a call to the hotel to send the shuttle service and it never came. The shuttle service from the Hampton Inn was very kind and gave us a ride to our hotel. Being it was midnight and we were very tired from being delayed over and over again, it was nice to see a helpful face. Too bad […] it wasn't from the hotel we booked!! I have used this hotel chain in the past and have had enjoyable stays. This was not one of them. The staff was not helpful and the facility was old, dirty and in need of updating. The breakfast was terrible, no plates, no service help, practically no food. I booked my stay for 3 nights. My business was completed after two and the hotel gave me no consideration […] for living one day early from an almost empty hotel. The hotel is an older property. The convenience to airport for a 6am flight is why I stayed. Everything was ok except for the computer it literally took 5 minutes to load a page ... in total it took me 45 minutes to check in & print my boarding passes although this included the time I spent troubleshooting and correcting the printer settings.

Country Inn Suites are a good value this one is no exception. Only downer on a very hot July day was that the ice machine was out of order. The room was a little dark, but comfortable. Bathroom was spartan but clean.

I have been staying in this hotel with my family (wife and 3 kids!) for two nights, as we needed to buy a car to go to another city (we are from Germany on a temporary VISA to the US). I found the hotel clean and comfortable, the small in our room a little bit muggy, but still ok. The hotel has an outside pool, with the water quite warm. But nice and […] clean, especially for the kids. Breakfast is a continental one, but you get all you need. You even get coffee all the day long - that was convenient. And even wireless internet connection for free without the need of asking some password or so. Although we were five persons, we managed to fit into two queen beds. The air conditioning was quite loud, but after a 10-hour flight from Europe to Charlotte that did not matter too much to us (but might for other people). I would recommend this hotel, also the price is reasonable. For two nights we paid the same price as one day rental car from Charlotte airport! P.S. I am not a paid writer to write this positive review, I have been really stayed at that hotel with my family! P.P.S. Although the hotel is right in the direction of a runway to the airport, almost none of the aircraft flew over us. Which also was a bit disappointing for me as I like watching aircraft... 더 보기

A great little place to stay -- room was clean, bathroom was clean, some minor annoyances. Smoke detector was hanging by the wires, blackout curtains didn't come together all the way and the room was flooded with light (forgot to bring my spring clothespins), poor insulation made it possible to listen to argument next door and children running down […] the hall. Having stayed before at Country Inns before I was suprised at how run down this particular property was. The room was decent but the rest of the property was worn and looked poorly maintained. The price I paid was not a bargain rate so I did not feel I got the value I expected.

I travel a lot, and i have stayed in some truly exceptional Country Inns. This is not one of them. My room was not ready, and the one they gave me had someone else's used clothing in it. The security loop lever was missing, and looked like the S.W.A.T. team had blown it off several other times as well. The room was by a pair of exits, and the noise […] was endless. Luckily, i was gone on business all day, and sleeping pills made the night go by. Very disappointed in this Country Inn. Most are very nice, some are great, but this one was awful. 더 보기

This wonderful hotel met all of our needs. We were flying out for the holidays and stayed before we left and when we returned. The hotel took car of all of our transportation needs on departure and arrival. All were courteous and very helpful. Would stay here again any time.

The cleanliness, comfort, hospitality and food was fine. The rear back door to the parking lot on the first floor didn't have a secure lock and wouldn't close properly (Dec 7, 2010). This would allow anybody to just come into the the hotel anytime that that wanted to without a security card. This is not a safe condition in any hotel.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL. VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT STAFF. GREAT FREE BREAKFAST!!! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS!!

Comfort Inn and Suites is 6 mins. from airprt with friendly shuttle service but in a bad area. Shoney's across parking lot, grocery store across busy highway, Chinese food nearby, Subway nearby, too. Hotel has no elevator. Room had large burned holes in carpet, no tissues. Hotel dark and noisy. Check in quite lengthy as lots of guests were switching […] rooms. They gave me a suite because that was all that was left on the first floor. One key didn't work at all. No tissues in the rooms. Bed OK, shower OK, but I was amazed at the shabby conditions. We stayed here while enroute to Asheville, after a very late arrival by air. Chose this hotel because of its proximity to airport and reasonable price. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast above average.

Not very nice but had great shuttle service to CLT airport which is only 5 mins drive.

We were there for 3 days for a convention in downtown Charlotte. We chose the Country Inn & Suites because of previous stays in other cities along the east coast and because we didn't want to pay for downtown parking. They had a convient city bus stop nearby. Staff was great with our multiple requests for directions, places to eat, and bus routes! It […] was quiet (even though we were next to the ice & vending machines, it wasn't noticible.) We were also a little concerned about being next to the airport, it was not a problem. We enjoyed Charlotte, parts of the city were a little questionable but quickly learned where not to go. Staff was friendly, bedding was the BEST! Thank you Country Inn & Suites! We'll be choosing to stay there next year in Hampton, Va! 더 보기

one bad thing about this hotel is there was no elevator; even though it was only two floors, it is difficult to have to carry multiple bags, etc up 10-12 steps at a time. Not all guests want to be on the first floor; a few other choices for dining would have been great. all in all the hotel was good for the money we spent on those particular dates.

Arriving at Charlotte airport after 9 hour flight we rang for the suttle.45 minutes later it had not arrived so we took a taxi which cost $14 fo a 5minute ride. The suttle bus it seemed had just left the hotel as we arrived! No apology just oh.

This was great for the time we were there. I would consider this location again next time I am in town!

It was close to airport but, front desk service very lax,I reserved nonsmoking room which it said inside that it was...but room was obviously a very heavily smoked room (before it was repainted), very unpleasant to me and my wife. My room was clean and well decorated.The room was recently remodeled on the cheap...terrible paint job in bathroom, bad […] retexture on walls to try to hide flaws and damage, tub was recoated rather than replaced, blue cover plates on wall where there use to be lights, bath fixtures not well mounted, loose. great service and great staff

The hotel met the need and budget we expected. We felt safe and trusted out positions to stay in our room. Our schedule was very demanding and only spent time at the hotel to sleep and refresh ourselves.
