My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shoreham Hotel. We found the staff to be quite helpful and extremely pleasant! We had a junior suite , which worked out perfectly for three adults! I had no complaints!

i've stayed at the shoreham a few times before..on business. the location is perfect for that after work stroll to get a classic fifth ave, nyc experience. So close to the rockefeller rink/ saks/ the beginning of central park, the apple store.... its the right balance of tourist must sees ..and calm amidst a nearby touristy area (time square).

I like staying at the Shoreham because it is so perfectly located and it feels upscale. No teenagers or bad Eurotrash usually at this place, mostly rich Europeans it seems. My only big complaint is that for these prices, they need to invest in some improvements. Although the bedding was nice, my mattress was super saggy like 50 obese businessmen slept […] on it before me. My TV had fuzzy cable ! Really ? Of course, trying to fix it is more of a pain than just watching fuzzy TV... The bathrooms are nice, but a bit dated. This place is ripe for an upgrade.... 더 보기

Room were cool, but dated. definitely uniwue compared to a hilton or something. Had a lot of character.

Amazingly helpful staff; Clean, small, modern throughout... **The Lowdown** - Champagne at check-in - Room: one queen bed, great full bathroom, plenty of space considering some closets posing as 'rooms' in NY. -Location: around the corner from 5th Ave shops, close to Times Square, short pedi-taxi to Lincoln Center, near fun bars, near Rockefeller Center, […] near Central Park... (need I say more?) -Shoreham Bar: Happy hour: half price wine and personable staff? Yes, please. All in all, a great trip thanks in large part to having somewhere great to stay. 더 보기

We stayed here in December and were on the second or third floor... It sounded like rats running up The windows/ walls. We got little to no rest.... Too noisy. We would never book here again.

Beautiful hotel in great location excellent services and a euro feel

Stayed for 2 nights over the long MLK weekend and was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was very spacious for NYC. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but everything fit adequately. The shower was fantastic, and the bed comfortable. I got a room facing a back alley and am so glad I did; there was no noise at all. My only small complaint […] was that the room I was assigned was an adjoining room. I could hear the couple next door as they spoke in a normal, conversational, tone of voice. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they were very helpful and without hesitation offered to move me to a room without a door to an adjoining room. I was in a rush and declined, and ultimately it was not an issue. The hotel was very convenient for my needs. I was glad that there are 2 Starbucks, a Dunkin Donuts, a Duane Reade, a wine shop and a supermarket within a couple of blocks. 더 보기

Small rooms, but good service and excellent location.

The hotel is situated conveniently between 5th and 6th Avenue. You can take the F train to neighboring stations and get to basically anywhere you need to go. Only a few blocks north of Rockefeller Center and about 5 blocks south of Central Park. The room is a bit small, but if you're spending time in your hotel room to do anything other than sleep, […] you're crazy--especially when you're in the city that never sleeps. Other than the size, the accommodation are wonderful and incredibly comfortable. The hotel offers complimentary coffee/tea beverages, which is a great way to start your day, and the bar downstairs is actually a popular meeting place for the local people, so it's a great way to mingle. For the price, it is absolutely worth it. Ultra chic, superbly modern. Definitely one of my better stays in a New York hotel. 더 보기

Very convenient. Close to shopping street and next to metro stop. Very modern interior with Bose sound system and Huge TV on the wall. The concierge was very helpful.

the location of the hotel was great, although i dont know how this hotel can be considered a 4 star, the room was very small and im tired of everytime I book a hotel with hotels.com i get the room at Ihe end of the hall and it has a veiw of the garbage or the side wall of another building!!!

If you like antiquated mechanicals (an air conditioner that blows directly on your bed, but can't be adjusted), a bathroom devoid of towels and toiletries, linens that are not changed once during a four night stay, window shades that can not be raised as to provide an outside view, a sofa that was new when Thomas Edison was in diapers and a housekeeping […] crew that refuses to answer the telephone, then this is the hotel for you. On the bright side, the hotel engineer (whom guests should never have to meet) was excellent, as well as the hotel location and surrounding neighborhood. 더 보기

Below is a letter/email I sent to the mamager of this hotel. I have yet to receive a response. To Whom It May Concern, I found this “Be Honest! Tell us how you really feel.” Card in our room this weekend and felt the need to send this letter addressing our concerns/comments. Upon arrival this past Saturday August 13th. 2011, we were greeted by a very […] nice hostess at the front desk and everything went of without a hitch! We then went to our room # 513 and were immediately taken a back by the size of the room, extremely small and a terrible view. The room however was clean and up to date. However, the bed was sooo sunken in the middle that while sleeping my wife and I kept rolling onto each other. In addition the walls were paper thin we could hear peoples TV’s, talking and even heard someone brushing their teeth in the room next door! Also, I suggest you look into replacing the automatic door closers on the entry doors to the rooms because whenever someone left or came into their room the doors SLAMMED closed! Overall we were, unfortunately, disappointed with our stay, sorry to say since we rarely stay overnight in NYC and were looking forward to spending my wife’s birthday there. I hope that you take this “constructive criticism” into account and make some changes. I thank you for your time. 더 보기

First and last stay. Great location but not user friendly--front desk was not particularly friendly or helpful on check-in, but most irritating was the attitude of the two people standing/sitting around waiting for time to open the bar and telling us that they wouldn't let us in 20 minutes early for a meeting--instead sent us to a bar down the stre […] et. 더 보기

Hotel is very modern, room was comfortable, great Aveda products in bathroom for your use, free internet included, 24 hour cappacino/expresso/coffee and wide variety of tea available and they came out perfectly each time. They also have a great bar/lounge area and really comfortable seating there.

When I booked the hotel I actually called the hotel's 866 number to ensure that we could accomodate our 13 yr old grandson. We were assured that the price included a queen bed and a rollaway. At check in, the clerk said that we had to pay an extra $50 for the rollaway. We had no choice at that time. Also the bathroom is very small. Problem with A/C […] was fixed after calling maintenance. 더 보기

Great location, only 3 blocks from Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. The room was on the small side but only needed it to sleep. Our room didnt have a bathtub which would have been nice after a damp, rainy day of visiting. Doorman at the ready if you need their assistance. Hotel limo to airport was nice touch to end our stay.

I stayed in the Deluxe Room with queen bed on the 6th floor. The room size was great considering you are in NYC. Our door was across from the elevator which made me nervous at first, but we didn't have any problems sleeping. I thought there was going to be bathrobes, a massage chair and a whole bunch of other amenities but the room was pretty plain. […] The view was other brick apartment buildings so we never opened the shades. The bed was very soft and great to sleep on. The bathroom was decent in size (although no multi-head shower and not much vanity space for cosmetics). If I were to go back I would confirm with the front desk that our room had all the features that were described online, including what floor the room would be on. 더 보기

This was my second visit to the Shoreham. Everything was as good as the last time we stayed with the exception of breakfast. My wife and I were blown away with the quality last time. The presentation was top notch. The food this visit was still good but seems to have slipped a little.

Loistava sijainti, palvelu hieman ylimielistä, pieni huone. Hotellin taso pikemminkin kolmen tähden luokkaa neljän sijaan.

Ganske fint hotel. Værelset var ikke så stort, men der var hvad der skulle være. Venlig betjening og det hele fungerede som det skulle. Tæt på Central Park, så gode muligheder for en afslappende løbetur. God beliggenhed, hvis man skal ud og se ting på Manhattan.

Bon établissement très central offrant des chambres relativement spacieuses et confortables. Couette dans les lits, baignoire dans la SDB et très bon petit déjeuner sont les plus de cet hotel que je recommande.

Wir haben das Hotel nur aufgrund der Internetbeschreibung gebucht. Für uns die perfekte Lage. Direkt in der Nähe des Central Parks, nicht weit weg vom Times Square und Rockefeller Center. Gute U-Bahn Anbindung. Besonderer Service: Email kostenlos verfügbar (auch auf den Zimmern) Kaffe, Tee, Kakao zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit kostenlos.

MOMAに近く、もちろん、5番街にも便利。 ショッピングには最適です。 客室が若干狭いのと、家具が安っぽい木材が難点、でも、バスタブは嬉しい。 コーヒーのサービス、寛ぎのラウンジも効果的。
