I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone that is doing a Kittery Maine Shopping Trip...the location is perfect..the staff is wonderful and the room and price is perfect...

My daughter & I enjoyed the weekend in NH & Maine. The hotel is easy to get to and has plenty of shopping areas and places to eat nearby. Also the ocean is so close we had to visit the Atlantic just one more time before the snow fly's. We plan on visiting again. Thanks

This hotel was comfortable and clean and offer a good breakfast in the more. It definately met my needs and the staff was friendly. I would stay there again.

The staff was nice, continental breakfast was a nice one. there was a shuttle service to downtown, that was nice. Although, we had a lady in the room next door screeming at her boyfriend from 12:30 am to 3:30 am . we called management a couple of times but nothing happened until 3:30am. Was very disappointed as I requested a handicapped room for 4 people and was told it was available with 2 double beds. I also specifically asked for details of the shower for accessibility and was told what I wanted to hear and found this not to be true. I also called the hotel directly to ask for this and got wrong information...end result, I could […] not shower at this hotel. We ended up renting a 2nd room to accommodate the other 2 in our party. I like Fairfield Inns generally, and while this one was a little small and out of the way of Portsmouth center, it was still very nice and clean inside, and for a very good price. It is much better than other options in the immediate neighborhood (the rt 1 bypass circle), but if you are looking for a downtown hotel this is certainly not the one for […] you. This Fairfield has a microwave and a fridge in each room, which is wonderful if you like to have cold drinks on hand and don't want to fight with the ice machine. 더 보기

A short drive to downtown Portsmouth. Hotel is conveniently situated right off the highway and yet is very quiet in the suite. We stayed in mid-November so had the advantage of off-season rate. Room was spacious - bureau, desk, king bed, clean bathroom and vanity area with closet to hang clothes and ironing board and iron. (Hair dryer was out of order.) […] Internet in suite, and also a station at desk in lobby for use by guests so was able to check email, make reservation at other hotel in Maine for next evening. Breakfast had lots of choices - recommend you sit at a table in the corner right away and look around to see what's there as it is spread out (example: coffee station in the lobby outside dining room area). Realized there was a waffle station after I got yogurt and fruit - but made a waffle anyway! Especially like the check out time -- noon -- can sleep in, no rushing in the morning. Plenty of room in the suite to put suitcases at waist level (no bending down to the floor) and spacious desk if you need to get some work done. Staying a while? There is a small microwave and extra-sized dorm refrigerator, so you can plan your own meals to save. The Fairfield Inn in Portsmouth NH was everything we expected. We wanted a hotel close to downtown Portsmouth but did not want to spend the money to stay in downtown. The hotel was in a decent location, only about a 5-10 minute drive away, which was not a problem considering there was a ton of parking available. But there was nothing of interest near […] the hotel being almost in an industrial park type area. The room itself was a good size and was very clean. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean, but the soaps were a little on the small size. They do offer the basic free breakfast which was typical and nothing outstanding, but not bad. No amenities. Gym privileges a mile away. Restaurants about a mile away. Clean but, place needs an overhaul.

It was a convenient place to stay as it was a beautiful hotel and close to the outlets in Kittery, where we wanted to spend time. Nice area.

There is a microwave in the room which is very convenient but it is place right in front of the bed which makes the light right in your face when you are trying to go to sleep. We also had problems with our keys - we only stayed for 2 nights but had to change our keys 3 separate times. And no, it wasn't because we placed them near a credit card, they […] just didn't work. 더 보기

Our family wanted to go to Water Country and York Wild Animal Kingdom, so it was very conveniently located to both places.

We were here for one night - 2 adults and 2 teens. Room felt a little cramped, but fit the bill. The kids enjoyed the pool. Free breakfast in the morning was better than most - Front desk staff very helpful. We prefer hotels where you can walk into town, etc. - which this isn't - but it was pretty easy getting places.

We enjoyed our time here. We were in and out smoothly. Comfortable, clean room.

Traveling with a 3 and 6 year old this hotel was very accomodating. The pool and continental breakfast were clean and satisfying. In addition, the front desk was extremely helpful in giving directions to places and recommendations. We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn for my son's wedding. The service was wonderful! The continental breakfast was amazing...lots to choose from and the price was right!

Location was okay - not far from the center of Portsmouth. Close to Kittery, Maine and the outlets. Great place to stay if you do not want to be in the middle of the city. Pool area was clean and comfortable.

We have stayed in your hotel in NH for at least 3 yrs. but this time we were very very disappointed to have had spilled something on our sheets the first night and the second night to find the same stain on the sheets from the night before. It was disgusting, it was very late and we did not want to call and have the sheets changed at such a late hour. […] So we had to take them off and sleep on the top blanket with no covers. It was a alfull experience. I am thinking that Marriott Hotels is not the way to go anymore 더 보기

Decent hotel consindering the area. Location nothing special but convenient to highway and major roads. Very comfortable.

Had everything that i needed and a great breakfast, plus free wi fi. the front desk was great and very helpful. will go again. i just wish that the price was a little lower but other than that i was totally satisfied.

Very skmipy on the bath towels and TP. There was only 1 half roll of TP in the room upon arrival, and none was left by housekeeping the following day. Had to call to ask for more. No tissues either.

Clean rooms etc. Outdoor pool. Pretty far from everything you'd want to be around, but not super-inconvenient. Overall, OK, but I would have preferred a bit more for the money.

Very clean room, hotel staff was very friendly, and it was definitely a great deal for the money! We would definitely stay there again!

very nice, clean, best complimentatry breakfast ever. the staff was more than helpful. we were lost coming in and Terry stayed on the phone with us until we found our way. very impressive. great to have a fridge and microwave in the room also.

The hotel was wonderful, the location was quiet yet conveniently located. My only complaints are minor - I wish they provided bigger pillows for their beds, and that they had a better breakfast selection (but breakfast is complimentary so I suppose I can't complain)

on vacation like to sleep late, forgot to put "do not Disturb" sign out maid trying to get in at 8:00 am , also continental breakfast ends at 9:30 am, how about 11:00

I travel alot and this hotel was a great deal. I was in town for a wedding downtown and the Fairfield was half the price and a quick cab ride into town. It is easy to get to off of I95. The front desk staff was excellent!

Given expectations for a Fairfied, this was about average - not bad, not great. Clean room, okay bed, hot shower. All I really need. The AC located next to the desk gave me a choice of being freezing and not working or uncomfortably hot and working since the window and AC share the same wall space. If you are here for business don't plan on working […] in the room. It was convenient for me, but I was only there for one evening...and that would be all I could tolerate given the AC situation. Room was clean and neat. Only complaint was the complimentary breakfast. Room and service was not up to handling the volume of guests. Some people needed to eat in the lobby. Food was frozen, one waffle maker with a 20 minute wait. There's an IHOP not far away.

We have now stayed at this hotel at least 6 times. It's very conveniently located right off the Portsmouth Circle and is reasonably priced. The continental breakfast is your basic fare but it gets you going and is appreciated. The rooms have microwaves & fridges which is helpful also, especially for us this time as we stayed more than one night. The […] staff is always very helpful and welcoming. A small detail that might not matter to some, but I really love the quality of sheets and pillows the use. I've actually looked into buying them for my home! 더 보기
