excellent location if you're planning to visit Universal Studios.

The staff is always so happy to see my family, some even say, "Didn't you just leave hear". It is a joy to sleep in such comfortable beds. They offer free transportation to Universal Studios and that is a money saver, to say the least. We just love this hotel.

We loved this hotel and I recommend it for anybody who want to be closed to universal studio.

The convenience of being a few steps away from Universal Studios made a huge difference in our family vacation. It's not too far from downtown LA so I shopped while the boys play. The rooms are spacious. You can even dance the pandango in the bathroom. Concierge staff are most helpful to get you taxi and shuttles for tours and to the airport. The view […] in our room is breathtaking. The food in their restaurant is awesome. I strongly suggest you try their japanese breakfast and the sunday seafood buffet that everyone's raving about where you get king crabs legs. Fantastic stay! 더 보기

If you are going to stay near Universal City and the City Walk, this hotel is a must. The entire staff was curteous, helpful, and without a doubt some of the most skilled at their jobs. I plan to stay again at this location again, by no small measure due to the service provided. 5 stars in my book!

The location of this hotel is simply ideal if you want to visit Hollywood and Universal Studios. All you have to do to visit Hollywood is go down the street and catch the subway. 4 star hotel in prime location to universal studios.Short walk to studios ans universal walk shops. Easy to locate just off the 101 interstate. Not to far from hollywood and all the attractions.

Everything nice clean, rooms good size beds really comfortable. Only bad thing no tea making facilities nor a fridge. Not as close to la centre as we thought. Jacqui

We stayed in room 659 and self parked. It was a great room and location. Clean. Comfortable. Thermostat worked. We had 2 double beds. The room could easily fit 2 queen beds. The primary goal for any hotel is to provide a comfortable place to land – secondary are food and ease of parking. Room: the room was acceptable. Food: the restaurant ONLY serves an unusually large buffet that's $45 per person. We didn't feel like getting back in the car after parking a few football fields away, so the buffet it was... DISGUSTING!!! […] The food was subpar. Parking: as mentioned, self parking was ridiculously far from our room, so at check in I upgraded to valet. I had no idea that grabbing the car in the morning would take 25 MINUTES!!! Their system is antiquated and cumbersome – at the 20 minute mark, I asked to speak with a manager, only be told that the "parking manager" was on his way. The car finally arrived and I left my number with the front desk for the manager to call me – I received no call. I travel quite a bit and prefer boutique hotels, but decided to try Hilton for a first time - once was enough. 더 보기

Great location! Walking distance to Universal Studios and City Walk. Great breakfast, kinda pricey though. We loved the bed and linens, very luxurious!

Had a wonderful stay with my daughter. Asked for "The City" view and they accommodated us as well. Loved the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the convenience of taking the shuttle to and from the hotel to City Walk. A great little getaway.

I was very pleased with this hotel choice. We picked the hotel because the website said that it was across the street from Universal Studios and they were actually telling the truth. So many times hotels misrepresent distance between hotel and nearby attractions, but the Hilton didn't. Initially I was disappointed that our room was only a few steps […] from our floor's elavator lobby, but I do have to say that, again, I was pleasantly surprised that we never heard the foot traffic going to and from them. 더 보기

We were there for my wife's birthday. Stewart at the front desk went above and beyond and had a piece of cake waiting in our room for her. They called us by name and made our stay very nice. We will definitely stay there again!

Paint was peeling from walls and tub. Mold in bathroom. Dust everywhere. The buffet was way over priced for the quality of food. But the front desk clerk was awesome!

I went to check into my room on the 8th. floor and walked into a room that had not been cleaned, so I proceeded back to front desk and explained the situation to clerk and they immediately gave upgraded my room on the 21st. floor in a executive suite. It was nice that they accommodated me and my wife on our weekend out, they also sent us a fruit basket […] for the inconvenience. I give this hotel a good recommendation. 더 보기

The hotel was only 5 min walk to Universal Studios that made it so convenient to go to the park twice a day without having to drive, park the car, etc. The breakfast buffet was great, delicious and very diverse. THe hotel rooms were very clean and spacious with great views. We loved our stay at that hotel Will definitely go back there.

I was excited when my wife booked the Hilton In Universal City, due to it's close nature to Universal Studios. I was very taken aback and confused on the interior decor of the hotel. I figured a Hilton with several Star designation, would be more up-to-date with it's decor and interior design. It had 1970's carpet and furniture in the lobby, and original […] Floor # plates in the elevator. The tub had a huge chunk of paint missing, and the shower face plate (Hot/Cold plate on the wall) was loose and coming off. I have been staying at this hotel for many years. This time, no hot water two mornings in a row. Inexcusable.

We stayed here the night of the Rose Bowl, so the hotel was understandably busy. After an entire day at Universal Studios, my kid was exhausted and hungry. Room service was going to be over an hour and there were no options for faster to go food anywhere in all the restaurants. The receptionist not only told me that there was no option to microwave […] anything I had brought with me in the entire hotel (how is that possible??). Worse, she didn't even make an effort to try to offer up any alternatives. I had a similar experience in the restaurant when I asked directly since I was incredulous that they not only couldn't make an effort, but they really didn't seem to care if a customer was happy. The hotel overall was nice, so I'd stay there again, but I'd definitely plan my visit to eat elsewhere. 더 보기

Had a lovely stay at the Hilton Los Angles/universal city. Quick and easy check in. Good size room for a family of 4. Big bathroom with heaps of space. Comfy beds.Nice buffet breakfast with good variety. Friendly staff with great assistance at the conceige desk with transport,tickets, etc. Great stay.would stay again.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to Universal Studios altho there is also a free shuttle available. The staff was helpful and our room was available so they allowed us to check in a bit early. Everything went smoothly.

Spent weekend my two girls 14 and 11 and it was simply an awesome experience. I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing hotels and this one had a little of everything that made my stay perfect! 100% recommend it for a weekend getaway, business travel, or simply a vacation.

Hotel is clean and tidy as per usual hilton standard. Location is good although besides Universal there is nothing in the area at all and with out a car you may be limited. Subway is a 5 minute walk away although down a steep hill and Hollywood is only one stop away (about 5 mins on train). LA subway is OK but nothing like New York or Europe. I loved staying at this hotel and plan on staying there again in the future. My bed was a little uncomfortable, rather lumpy but moved to the other side and it was OK. The buffets were rather pricey but a short walk over to CityWalk and you have a nice selection of restaurants to choose from. This hotel is quiet, very clean, staff was great (very helpful) […] and the location to CityWalk and Universal Studios cannot be beat. Hotel also has a shuttle over to Universal if you don't feel like walking( 5 minutes). Walk down the hill and you are right across the street from the Metro. This is a classic Hilton hotel that is starting to show its age. It is otherwise clean and the buffet is quite good. Location is prime for the area. It can be use as a base for driving around LA.

Good for everything except their rules on free breakfast and free wi-fi in the room. I found that aspect to be greedy for a giant hotel like Hilton.

Location is good if you wish to visit the universal studio, otherwise I recommend for the family to stay closer to Santa Monica area.

No hot water on Saturday evening, Dec. 17. After complaining it was fixed within an hour. Otherwise a very nice hotel, beautifully decorated for Christmas and very fine banquet facility. Definitely four start hotel with 5 star service.

The hotel is looking a little ratty. There was a chair with a broken spring in the lobby that was easily identifable. The room had dust in the light fixtures, etc. In addition we had to ask for such basic things as glasses and tea for the room because the housekeeper "forgot" on two occasions during our three night stay to leave them. Overall, I like Hilton hotels. This particular hotel had very stained carpets. Also, the beds need to be flipped or rotated. They sag on the one side where everyone sits. Sometimes, I think the bathroom is just wiped down when it is cleaned. It needs a thorough cleaning, especially around the toilet.

Amazing mountain view from the hotel room! Rooms are clean.
