Friendly hotel, good reasonable restaurant, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is great. Right next to the river Elbe and port, and a nice walk either direction. You are also a short walk to the Reeperbahn and to the train station to go almost anywhere. The room was very comfortable and the service staff very helpful. Good hotel, but very noisy room, and heating did not work, so I was cold all night. Also, by the time I walked from reception to my room the key did not work, so I had to take my luggage back to reception twice to get it sorted out (because it happened again!).

I opted for the lieutenant class room - perfectly adequate. I might opt for a better room next time though for a bit more room. Great staff, legit bathroom (I'm American remember) and a nice breakfast and pub on campus.

Loved the hotel ... very clean and comfortable. Breakfast nice but a bit on the expensive side. Disappointed in the fact that they offered absolutely no English tourist information so bring your guidebook.

The main thing is, when I come back to Hamburg I am definitely staying in this hotel again. However, it is not perfect. The location is amazing (right between the harbour and the Reeperbahn), but the room is not exactly a 4-star (by North American standards at least). The usual European "4-star" occurrences: 2 single beds pushed together to make a "king", […] no conditioner, shampoo, or soap (just a mysterious all-in-one thing), etc. Room service menu was 6 items :( we were also supposed to have free wifi internet in our room (they provide a cable if you dont have one) and IT WASN'T WORKING, so we had to go downstairs to the lobby to look something up on the laptop. 더 보기

The hotel was fine apart from paying for some travel documents to be printed only to find that the printer was not aligned and crucial infromation was missing from the document. Great location and would stay there again ,i just wouldn't use there computers or printers.

I was in Hamburg for business. I am not a fan of the city.. but the hotel was very good. Great location if you want to walk along the riverwalk or explore the St Pauli attractions or meet a St Paul girl. You will know what if mean if you visit this part of the city. A centrally located hotel for the harbour area, it is also very busy. Styled around everything nautical, it has two parts. I was in the old section. When a problem became evident (someone had previously smoked in the room) the staff resolved it quickly. The terrace bar/cafe is very smart and chic and has a great view. The tower bar is small but has an even better view. Some of the rooms (our first one) can be noisy with early morning departing guests trundling luggage over uneven ground so light sleepers need to beware. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Old-style hotel with clean and modern conveniences and great views of Albe River. Lots of staff and all very helpful and accommodating, They automatically charge your bill for breakfast everyday, so if you do not take breakfast at the hotel, be sure to notice this and they do remove it. As this was our first trip to Hamburg Germany, we wanted a clean hotel that was centrally located to local sites, as well as easy access to public transportation. The Hotel Hamburg was clean and surprisingly quiet (as we had read online concerns about the noise from the trains) - but our room was on the farthest side away from the trains. Det ville være rart, hvis der var 2 stole på værelset.

das Hotel ist grundsätzlich zu empfehlen Leider lag unser Zimmer zum Innenhof statt mit Blick auf den Hafen wie Monate vorher gewünscht ausgestattet zu sein. Zudem wenig beleuchtet, sehr düster; man konnte nur im Badezimmer lesen! Personal sehr freundlich und Frühstück prima!

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar oberhalb der Landungsbrücken direkt an der Elbe. Unser sehr sauberes und gemütliches Zimmer hatte eine angemessene Größe und einen beeindrucken Elbblick über den Hafen und die Landungsbrücken. Die U-Bahn läuft unmittelbar am Hotel, ist bei geschlossenen Fenstern jedoch nicht störend. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels bietet beste […] Gelegenheit den Hafen und die Innenstadt/Alster fussläufig zu erkunden. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet. Es mangelt hier an nichts! Ebenso ist das Hotel-Restaurant mit Elbblick zu bevorzugen. Sehr gutes Essen mit günstigem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Das traditionelle Hotel liegt super zentral am Hafen, für uns abends beim Musical-Besuch nicht mal fünf Minuten zu Fuß zum Schiffs-Shuttle. Tolle, edle Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Nur zu empfehlen!!!

Ein tolles Hotel . Super Zimmer 50.111. Bei Sonnenschein im Sommer zur Alsterseite aber warme Zimmer. Wir können nur Sagen tolles Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. 100% Weiterempfehlenswert.

Utomordentligt läge för gästande turister eller - som i mitt fall - arbete i Hamburgs hamn. Bra med fria parkeringar i hotellets omgivning. Nära till S- och U-bhan. Das Zimmer war zum Parkplatz. Die Lüftung der Küche war die ganze Nacht laut, es stank bei geöffnetem Fenster nach Essenszubereitung. Der Preis steht daher nicht in einem adäquaten Verhältnis zu diesem Zimmer.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder in diesem schön gelegenen Hotel übernachten.

En god gå tur ind til bymidte. Hotellet har en lille parkeringsplads. morgen mad OK God restaurant med mod mad og en flot udsigt ud over havnen.

Et virkeligt dejligt hotel næsten i hjertet af Hamborg og kun 50 meter fra vandet. Betjening og værelse i høj kvalitet (commander klasse). Typisk tysk morgenmadsbuffet på godt og ondt, men dejlig mad hvis man er til sådan noget. Hard Rock Hamborg 100 meter derfra (fantastisk stemning). Tæt på U banen 50 m. Reeperbahn 5-10 min på gåben. Gute Lage mit Aussicht auf Hafen, gute Verkehrsanbindung. Rundum zufrieden und zu empfehlen. Frühstück auswärts genommen.
