I was totally unhappy with the condition of the room and the smell within the hotel. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Very unhappy.

The towels were thin . pillows were like wafers. Tub drained a little slow. All in all for the price it was fine. good location. Easy to find and convenient to everything.

Convenient location to casinos. A good stay for the price. If you're looking for high end hotel ammenities not the place for you, but if you need a decent place to stay for a affordable price its not bad.

Good for overnight stay to go to Foxwoods. About 15 minutes from Foxwoods. Room was large and very inexpensive. Staff was friendly. Good if you are looking for basic overnight accomodations

This hotel was good for one night. The refridgerator was a plus. The old dengy decor in the livingroom suite did not make for a welcoming effect but over-all it was ok for a one night event at the Foxwoods and then to resp up on the clean white sheets before driving back to Central NJ.

Easy to get to, friendly staff. Nothing bad to say about this place for the price per night. Highly recommend!

The check in and out process was quick and efficient. We had a room with two Queen beds. One of the beds had dirty sheets on it. The heat in the room dried out my sinuses. The continental breakfast was horrible. They didn't offer decaf coffee or tea. I would not recommend this hotel. Awful!

Great service...the guy at the desk took it upon himself to turn the heat on in my room so that my room would be warm enough. Very cheap stay...no problems booking at all...would stay there again.

There were holes in the door frame where there used to be the top bolt lock, even a sign that says to use it, but it's gone. As a female staying alone, this put me on edge. 4 inch diameter piece of linoleum missing from kitchen floor, plus a little sticky. One of handles on bathroom sink kept coming apart so I had to keep screwing it on. Lamp shade […] broken, not a huge deal, but contributed to the overall feel I had of staying in a broken down room. Good location, safe area, and the price was cheap, but you get what you pay for. Overall if you're really strapped for cash, you might choose this place because it is cheap, the bed was comfy, and the rooms open to internal hallways (versus rooms that open right to the outdoors). And it was nice to be able to grab a bagel or apple in the morning from the breakfast area. But it would not be my recommendation only as a last resort. 더 보기

We stayed here overnight after a late night show at Mohegan Sun. The room was VERY clean and well maintained. It was much larger than I expected with a nice sitting area, a kitchen area complete with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and shower had great water pressure. The rate was very reasonable. I only encountered […] two staff members, check in and check out, they were friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions and both times found the hotel to be clean, neat and quiet. The decor is a little bit dated however I think that the room rate is a great value and I would recommend it to others!

Worth the money , compared to the other high hotels, the sheets and towels were crisp white the room did not smell of cigarettes we had two queens bed kitchenette which included a small breakfast bar with Ttwo stools a coffee pot, a fridge and a sink the baby looked very clean and access to the room was from inside verses some hotels where it's outside […] they had continental breakfast in the lobby nothing over the top some sliced bread english muffins and donuts with fixings and coffee a few pieces of fruit nothing spectacular but the presensation was nice my only complaint which would probably be for most hotels is why dont they just get wood floors I had carpet It nevers looks fresh and who knows what's in there 더 보기

It was fun staying at this place. - It was quiet, clean and comfortable. - Located at the "far" end of the town, but no more than 10 minutes walk from town's center. - TV was not HD, but it was the only hotel which I stayed in the US with not only cable TV, but also VOD.

The hotel was a little old and could use some renovation, but it was very clean and comfortable. Just stayed one night and was fine.

We stayed here on a Friday night. Our room was HUGE. It was almost like a 1 bedroom apartment which was really nice. The room did smell, but only slightly. The hotel was older, so I kind of expected it. They let us check in very early (12:30), which was great. We stayed here since we were going to Mohegan Sun. This hotel comes as advertised. You get what you paid for plus a bit extra. We found it clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. It would be better updated. The microwave and fridge were probably older then me. But the convenience of having both appliances was priceless. We were in the area for three days traveling with young children and on the budget […] ,appliances ment that I could bring some food for them an us an we could save some by packing our own picnic lunches. Continental breakfast was cheese, but it has essentials (bagles,creamchese, milk) again because of the fridge I had some extras for our breakfast. The fact that the room had a separate sitting area Kent we did not need to sit on the bed while kids slept and each TV. That means a lot after the whole day of walking. The location was great 10-20 min from anywhere we needed to go (Mystick, Dino park, children museum steem train. All in all it was a very pleasant stay. 더 보기

It was a great stay! It was clean and big... The price was awesome... The only problem we had that there was nothing to do in the surrounding towns... Only the mystic aquarium and the seaport... But it was a nice getaway

It has been years since any updating of facilities and room amenities. It did not make you feel welcome and comfy. If I had to do over again, I would not choose Eco-lodge for my next stay.

We selected this hotel as our base to visit other nearby attractions [Mystic Seaport, Newport, Misquamicut Beach]; while the reviews initially scared us, we gave the hotel a try because of its proximity to our destinations as well as the price. We were warned through the reviews that there was a moldy smell and true enough, there was a strong moldy […] smell in the lobby. We were afraid that the room we were given was equally smelly. My wife refused to go back in the hotel through the lobby. Thankfully, there was side door close to our room. We were pleased when we entered our room - there was NO moldy smell and the room was clean. We would stay here again if the price were right. 더 보기

The Econo Lodge Inn & Suites in Groton CT was at a valued midpoint for our trip to Cape Cod. It was clean and the clerk on duty was most helpful.

Spacious Rooms with lovely sitting area. Continental breakfast was not great.

Check in was fast. When I get to the room I was surprise, it was more that I expect. Room was large, little kitchenette (micro, little refrigerator, sink). Two chairs to watch TV with a table in between. To a corner is a desk with a chair. TWO complains, when I get to the bathroom it was "clean" spacious but the ceiling have water spot, the cover of […] the toilet have little cracks (may water damage too). Over all it was ok, plus it was for the night. Second complain, the continental breakfast, mini muffins, slices of bread, bagels and cereal. The coffee and orange juice machine. That was ok, I expect may be also some fruits BUT MY BIG problem was when I look for cream cheese, they have everything in just one container (like at home) and you just used and put it back in the little refrigerator they have at one side. Not just that also the milk, cheese....I think for the price they charge they can do a little better, buy individuals stuff. But overall for one night is fine. Also check out was fast. 더 보기

we thought the hotle was clean and quiet,

we stayed at this hotel 2 year in a row will not go back too

When we checked into the hotel the room we were sent to was not cleaned yet. The beds weren't made, the toilet was not flushed and trash still in baskets. Mind you, it was about 6:00 when we checked in and they had no idea that the room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and all they said was that they were short handed on housekeeping and they […] could send someone up to clean it. At this point I was disgusted with the room and asked for another room which was a little smaller that the original room but cleaner. Even though I found an unopened water bottle under the bed and the towels had stains on them . The only positive thing I could say about this hotel is that the rooms are spacious. 더 보기

The two queen beds were very comfortable. I didn't expect such a spacious room with two comfy lounge chairs to relax in while watching tv. Room also had a nice little kitchenette with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and stools to sit down and eat a meal at. Right off the highway convenient to the sub base and about a 15min drive to Foxwoods or Mohegan. […] I stayed here off-season but I will definitely return in the Summer. 더 보기

For the price it was a dump. Missing washclothes, remote, etc.lots of stains on furniture & rugs. Location was great for the casinos.

THIS HOTEL IS CONVIENT TO ALL PLACES AS WELL AS I-95 TO GO NORTH OR SOUTH. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN IF THE NEED COMES UP. THE STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS TO US AT ALL TIMES AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR STAY WAS GREAT

For a romantic getaway and casino visits this hotel is ideal.

The suite was much bigger than expected, and it contained a kitchen with 2 refrigerators and a microwave. The water pressure in the shower left something to be desired, but overall it was a great room.
