it wasnt what i expected but it was clean and the people running the place were very nice and pleasant. it was just alittle older than expected.

Nothing fancy close to 24hr Petrol Station and noisy car park in front on the window. Slept one night and would go back again.

We stayed here for the Le Mans race and the Mgr was awesome helpful polite etc. Location is awesome for the Laguna Seca track only about 20 min tops. I can not say enough about how nice the Mgr was for a low cost hotel I usually stay in 4-5 stars but all were gone and I did not feel bad at all getting to stay in his place.

This was within ten miles of the race track that I worked. The manager was friendly and access to and from the room was very good. I only came in late evening and left early mornings. My room was always freshened during my 4 night stay. What more could one want. A clean bed and a good nights sleep.

The service was great, they were very accommodating and friendly. I would stay there again with out a doubt.

We ended up in this hotel due as 'Plan B' when our original plans fell through on a recent vacation. It was out of our way, the quality was low, and it was grossly overpriced. I would have been willing to pay half of what this room cost. There was not much to eat nearby, but there was a liquor store across the street. The parking lot was tiny and we […] were uncomfortable leaving our car there. The continental breakfast was nothing to speak of. EconoLodge is located very conveniently off the US101N highway. The proximity to Carmel by the sea and Pfeiffer beach is a very big plus for this motel. Yes, it is a motel and it does not pretend to be anything other than that. Sure, people have their apprehensions about staying in motels, I am one of them. But this one took me by surprise! Going by […] the review(ww)s posted about this establishment I was not so keen on going in and in fact wanted to scram if I saw any shady characters hanging around But right from the time , the propreitor of the hotel helped us in our check in, extremely friendly I must add, I was at ease. Sure, this place had a lot going against it, it was right next to a gas station and the streets around it dont look so hospitable after dark. But dont judge the place harshly by these factors alone. I never felt my car was in danger of getting jacked, or any of the other factors mentioned in earlier reviews. If you are pressed for options/or scared by earlier reviews, stay for a night, book early, sleep and leave early in the morning to whichever scenic spots you would like to visit. It is not the horror story people have made it out to be and yes, I am very particular about these things. The room itself was clean and comparable to the other no frill hotels such as ESA. They also have a decent breakfast spread, nothing great but the danish and muffins are a good way to kickstart your day. Overall, if you are travelling solo/as a couple/seniors you can give this hotel a nod for 1-2 nights stay. One thing I noted was , there are no elevators , so I am not sure how people with wheelchairs will be able to access 2nd floors (if you have a preference for avoiding the 1st floor which in this case opens directly to the parking lot.) Horribly run down and dirty. Scary location, staff tried to be accommodating.

Not especially aesthetic but it did the job. The hotel room gave us the motivation to leave early in the morning :)

It's right off of the freeway. The staff is accommodating and friendly.

we stayed there for the moto gp recently and was in a perfect location close to every thing and the staff there were wonderful and really helpful

Stinky room... gross looking carpet... gross looking heating unit... gross crevices in tub lining... GROSS GROSS GROSS

it was in a bad neighborhood and it wasnt very clean the shower was old and water staind.

Very good value for the price. The location is close to downtown Salinas and the Steinbeck Center as well as Highway 101. The fridge and microwave are a bonus as well as the free breakfast of muffins, toast, pastries, juice and coffee. Very nice hotel managers!

I stay a couple nights weekly for work. The neighborhood is definitely skeazy, but the room is clean, has a fridge and micro (unlike the place almost twice as much $$ that I've stayed at in Salinas) and the staff is friendly and helpful. At this price range, I did not expect much. I chose for convenience of the location and price. But, the room was much larger and more comfortable than I expected. Bath fixtures, etc. are older, but maintenance and housekeeping are quite good. The refrigerator and microwave in the room were also a pleasant surprise. Wireless connection was a little […] weak, I had to find the "right spot" in my room to get a strong enough signal, but I was able to accomplish what I needed to do. I also prefer a little more water pressure in the shower, but the supply of hot water was never a problem. All in all, I was comfortable and satisfied. Excellent cost performance. 더 보기

The hotel room was nice, especially for the price. The staff even went above and beyond. I recieved a phone call from the hotel telling me my tire had gone flat. They helped me change it and gave me directions to the nearest tire shop.

Goede prijs kwalieit. Kamers netjes en schoon, hotel eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Simpel maar goed ontbijt. Buitenkant zag er niet zo mooi uit, maar kamer was goed en netjes.

det var äckliga fläckar på madrasser och sängkläder, och hutlöst dyrt. jag kan INTE rekommendera det!

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, aber nicht mehr. Es kann für eine Nacht in Betracht gezogen werden. Das sog. Frühstück ist etwas gar frugal.

personnel très agréable mais hôtel vétuste. Prévoir de ne rester qu'une nuit car situé sur une route très fréquenté et quartier qui doit craindre.
