4성급 호텔이었지만 방이 다소 작은 걸 빼고는 5성급 호텔에 버금가는 수준이었습니다. 아이들이 여러명 대동하였기에 실내 수영장을 이용할 기회가 많았는데 성인을 꼭 대동하여야 한다는 것 때문에 관리자와 다소 트러블이 있었습니다만 그외에는 대체로 만족합니다. 특히 지하철 출구 바로 앞인점이 마음에 들며 주변 골목에 먹거리를 파는 작은 식당들이 많이 있어 불편하지 않았습니다.

It was good to enough to stay at a appopreate price. Very good location to go every direction. Especially, good for businessman except when you do not want to use internet in your room.

아침식사 부터 피트니스, 수영장, 테니스 맛사지 등 원하는 모든 것이 있다. 또한 큰 비즈니스 센터, 회의실, 메디칼 센터 및 아주 많은 보고 즐길 거리가 있다. 심지어, 지하철은 정문 바로 앞에 있다. 직원들은 멋지고 친절하다. 만약 인내심이 있는 사람이라면, 영어를 잘 구사하는 것을 들을 수 있다. 그들은 충분히 잘 이해하지만 영어로 말하는 것을 약간 부끄러워한다. 전반적으로 멋진 호텔이며, 훌륭한 수준으로 다시 여기에 머물 것 이다. 단지 비용이 맞지 추가될 것을 기억하면 된다. (특히 음식 및 음료)

Nice hotel, close to the subway station and the workers stadium with several nightclubs. The gym in the hotel is well equipped!! I had a great stay!

Good hotel with good facilities and good service , restaurant good but expensive. Japanese restaurant Kawa was bad.

The hotel is directly in front of the subway station (Dongsi Shitiao, exit C) which was very convenient. It only took about half hour from airport to hotel via the airport express. The room was spacious and clean but was beginning to show wear and tear. Staff were efficient and tried their best to communicate in English. The hotel is in a great location, right outside a metro station, so you can get to all the tourist attractions for 2rmb. The hotel has just been renovated, so the room we got was awsome, mind you we were upgraded to an exec room. Overall a good hotel, good location and perfect for room comfort and cleaness.

The only drawback, is the absence of wi-fi in the rooms.

The hotel seems old and wasn’t maintained properly , the rooms were very hot and the air condition was not running , when I complain to management they send the guest relation manger to apologize and explain to me that they are saving energy for the season which will result to not run the air conditioning at all , the temperature was 86F in Beijing […] and I spent three days without air conditioning 더 보기

very near the subway station. staff are nice and helpful. Only staff in buffet resturant (chef) are bit rude. room carpet bit dirty but still can acceptable.

The Swissotel is a 5-star hotel in China terms, which is like a 3 1/2 or 4 star elsewhere. The room was clean and comfortable (tho with a hard bed, as others note, which didn't bother me), and the service was good. However, be really careful with what electronics you bring to China, as the internet in the hotel is monitored, even at foreign-owned hotels […] (which can be a serious concern for business people because of corporate espionage, as the Washington Post has reported recently). On various occasions, I saw outside computers linked to my computer, saw that emails had already been read before I opened them, and had difficulty with my internet service being shut down when using Google and Google Maps. 더 보기

Very unfriendly staff. More like a 3.5 star hotel. Food is ridiculously expensive, £15 for a tuna sandwich! rather go to the restaurants or 7-11 across the street

Hotel has good location, overall good appearance. Air Conditioner in room did not cool sufficiently and carpet was badly stained. Nice restaurants on property. Some pricey and chinese retaurant not available our first night. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Can't wait to go back.

The size of the suite is differ (not the exact size 45 sq.m) as shown from the website so it is not ideal for meeting uses. As there are so many hotels in Beijing, we may not recommend this one for business use.

This hotel functions very well. It is located within walking distance of San Li Tun with its restaurants and bars as well as the clothes market. A metro station in front of the hotel makes it very easy to move around on this system. The furnishings in this hotel is rather old but in good condition. great location with dong si shi tiao train station just next to it. hotel staff are polite and helpful. would recommend this hotel to those visiting beijing.

Good hotel with great service. Typical Chinese beds as very hard mattress. Good location to motorways and nightlife.

This hotel has enjoyed its best years. The check was slow (20 minutes.....) the washroom was horribly outdated and the shower had not pressure. The window did not shut properly allowing for noise to permeate. The internet was spotty and the beds where very, very hard - a 2 star bed and a 1 star bathroom. Really convenient location - being right opposite the entrance to a tube station is a huge bonus A kettle and fridge was provided in the room and 2 sealed bottles of water provided each day.Welcome touch. The restaurant is costly but good quality. Lovely pool and very attentive staff. Great place.

Me and my sister spent some days in Beijing sightseeing and shopping. The price for the hotel was cheap but the service and the room was not. Very good location, there is a subway station just outside of the hotel. Walking distance to Yashow marketplace only 10min. Despite the age this hotel is fairly well-maintained. It has a pool and a well-equipped gym, both not very busy when I was there. My only complaint is that I stayed there during the winter months and my room was a corner unit. So I found it a little cold and the room temperature control was not 100% effective. good location, few meters next to the metro line. Room is very nice.

...there are many better and cheaper hotels in this area, many of these with a better location too.

Best points about this hotel are the Line 2 Dongsi Shitiao train station literally opposite the front door, the well-equipped gym, the communication skills of the lobby staff (from reception to doormen) and the variety of dining options in the surrounding neighbourhood. Things that could be improved are the provision of robes and slippers for BOTH room […] occupants (not just one!), reliability of airport transportation and reliability of wifi. Our Dec 2011 visit to Beijing began with a flight arriving at 1am. We had pre-arranged a late check-in, and a couple of days before arrival contacted the hotel direct to ask for a driver to meet us. The concierge desk was very responsive and within a couple of hours, and after exchange of 4 emails, all was agreed. We waited in the almost empty arrival hall for half an hour before deciding that we had been let down and would have to take a taxi - precisely what we had aimed to avoid. Arriving at the hotel just after 2am, check-in was straightforward. We were told we had been upgraded, which was a delight to hear at that hour of the morning, but later we realised we had got no more or less than what we had paid for. The only difference was that our room was 2 floors higher in the building than it otherwise might have been!! Throughout our week at Swissotel Beijing we used the tour desk (excellent), reception (good+), concierge (good and bad - they may write down your request, but that doesn't guarantee they will do it), gym (excellent), post office (good), Cafe Swiss (average), Happy Valley Restaurant dim sum banquet (very good), business centre (good), wifi (bad - paid for a wifi card and the one time I managed to get it to connect, over several days of attempts, the poor coverage made it drop out within a few minutes) and ATM (excellent). Small but decent range of English-language TV stations. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. NB: for light sleepers, remember to bring earplugs. Even on level 15, you can still here the co 더 보기

Efficient business hotel with reasonable restaurants in-house. At one level the location is very nice, as it's right at a subway stop. But the surrounding neighborhood is fairly barren, and not at all friendly to just walking around. It's also at least a one-transfer subway ride from the CBD, but fine if you're up for the cost and frustration of taxis. Staff […] was helpful and spoke English well. Swissotel Beijing is a nice higher-end hotel right next to Dongsishitiao subway station. It's in the Chaoyangmen area of Beijing, a short bus ride from Sanlitun, which is a fairly popular nightlife and shopping district, especially with expats. For the price, the hotel is quite nice. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is nice, lives up to its Swiss spa billing. […] My only complaint with the room is that the fan for the heat is very loud, and doesn't seem to have an "automatic" mode. I ended up turning it off and relying on the hotel common heating to keep my room warm enough, which was fine despite the sub-freezing temperatures outside. This is an excellent hotel, very close to metro station which provides easy access to city center. There are many good restaurants an easy walk away. However, I think it is cheap of the hotel to charge for internet access. Most business people travel with computers and need good internet access. Less expensive hotels have free internet access.

It's a very good traditional hotel with all the nice and desirable functions in the bath room. It's next to subway which offers a lots of convenience. My wife and I like it.

This hotel is one of the better hotels I stayed in China. The price is reasonable compared to top hotels. There are many interesting restaurants and stores within walking distance. From the metro station right at the front of the hotel, you can be in the center of the city in a matter of minutes. Hotel well situated opposite metro. clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming and speak good English. Can buy breakfast from stalls outside for 50p. Would recomend this hotel.

Stayed here on a stopover in Beijing. The locatiion was superb - the subway station was located directly in front of the hotel. The neighborhood was nice with lots of restaurants nearby, including some Western places such as Starbucks and McDonalds. The rooms were relatively new and very clean - beds were quite comfortable. Excellent location - subway station exit (C) brings you to the front of the hotel. Good value for price paid for a Western hotel in Beijing, but not so good in comparison to Chinese hotels of a similar standard.

Staff was great, location very good, rooms good not great. Good value. I would stay here again.

This hotel is awful for a few reasons: (1) airport pickup was not arranged properly; (2) it's almost impossible to get a taxi from the hotel; (3) the room I stayed in was old and not completely cleaned in places, especially in the shower. This is NOT a place to stay if you visit Beijing for business.

Very good overall, very handy for the subway system and access from the airport, the only downside was the price of the breakfast at £18 is too expensive with limited options in the surrounding area but would use the hotel again.

The Swissotel is a good quality hotel in nice location only steps away from the Subway. The hotel is a little older then other hotels in Beijing, however the quality of the rooms and public areas are very good. They also have a big gym. I found this hotel to be of the standard I expect of Swissotels around the world. The only complaint I had is that the beds were more Asian than European, therefore harder than I am used to. I was able to make up for this a little by sleeping on the comforter that was provided as a blanket. However, my traveling companions, native to the country, found […] the beds just fine.
