할리우드 루즈벨트 (Hollywood Roosevelt) - 할리우드

호텔이 정말 좋았습니다! 호텔에 들어서며 느낀 것은 옛 할리우드가 현대와 섞인 것 같단 것입니다. 위치는 끝내줍니다! 차이니즈 씨어터 바로 건너편에 있습니다. 모두에게 이 호텔을 추천하고 싶습니다. 정말 정말 좋았습니다.

어두침침하고 짙은 회색과 모카 갈색의 방입니다. 가구들은 낡고, 긁혔으며 패어있습니다. 심지어 가구가 불쌍하다는 생각이 들 정도예요. 더러운 창문들, 찢어진 시트, 오래된 카펫 등.. 그리고 화장실이 있습니다. 세상에. 이걸 보신다면 모든 걸 쓸어내고 싶을 겁니다. 전함 색깔의 회색 페인트가 떨어져 나와 큰 검은 색의 자국으로 확연하게 티가 납니다. 떨어져 나오는 것은 개수대 위 거울에 오렌지색 자국으로 더 심하게 티가 납니다. 직원들은 좋습니다. 그들의 미소는 이렇게 말하는 것 같습니다. '저희는 금방 수리할 거예요. 최고급으로라고요? 그건 여기서 염소를 타고 로데오 경기를 하는 거나 마찬가지라고요!

저는 여기서 하룻밤만 머물렀습니다… 편안하긴 했지만 시끄러웠습니다.. 그리고 저는 안내데스크에서 제 방으로 새벽 4시 30분에 전화를 걸어 제 카드에 주차요금을 청구해도 되냐고 묻는 것에 실망했습니다. 짜증나더군요.

위치, 청결 및 편안함까지 모든 것이 훌륭했어요.  그러나 세면대에 누수가 있었는데 제대로 고쳐지지 않았고, 우리가 실제로 한 번도 뜯지도 않은 미니바에서 2가지가 요금에 부과됐어요.  불행히도 우리가 체크아웃 한 후 출국하고 나서야 요금이 부과된 것을 알았어요.

침대는 편안했고 샤워 실은 좁았으며 직원들은 예의 바르다.  호텔은 투숙객보다는 Hollywood의 '노는 분위기'에 더 신경 써주는 것 같았다.  만약 이런 것을 원한다면 괜찮지만 이 호텔에 투숙 시 바에서 한잔쯤은 주문이 가능해야 되지 않을까 싶으면 다른 곳에 묵는 게 나을 것 같아요.

나는 Roosevelt에 대한 다양한 리뷰를 읽었는데 결국 이 호텔에서 묵어서 정말 기분 좋다.  난 매우 까다로운 사람인데 비록 호텔 객실(아름다운 코너 스위트)은 개선(가구들은 긁혀있음)이 필요하지만 나는 이 호텔이 정말 좋았다.  프런트 데스크 직원들은 매우 친절했으며, 질문에 대해 시간을 들여 전부 답해주었다.  이곳의 특성상 약간의 시끄러운 파티를 예상했었지만 전화로 바로 윗방에서 새벽 2시에 분명히 시끄러운 파티를 하고 있다는 불만을 제기하자, 경비과에서 15분 만에 상황을 종료시켰다.  나는 꼭 이곳에 다시 묵을 것이다.  명심해야 할 부분은 오래된 호텔로 객실은 크지만 옷장은 매우 작고, 욕실은 다른 신규 […] 호텔의 욕실보다 작으며, 가구는 낡았다는 점이다.  또한 Hollywood Blvd에 묵는다는 것은 Times Square에 있다는 것과 같아서 시끄럽고 빛이 환하며 내가 묵을 때는 영화촬영을 하고 있었기 때문에 객실의 두꺼운 커튼이 정말 반가웠다.  주의사항이다.  중심부에 위치하여 훌륭하며 할 것 들이 많다.  내가 상대한 모든 직원들은 친절하고 기꺼이 도와줬다.  더 보기

Very much a place to be if you are trying to impress. The hotel is lovely insidde, tthe rooms are very clean and finished to a very high level. As you would expect, not the basic contents to the mini bar which is transferred into the prices. 24 degree bar was very pleasant and the food brilliant at a fair price. We had a last minute change of plans and ended up heading to Hollywood instead of Santa Monica. The old, dark history of the Roosevelt was great and our teens especially enjoyed being directly across from the Chinese theatre and the Red Carpet! If you come to LA, whether for business or you're a tourist, Roosevelt is the best hotel out there. I go to LA all the time and I've even stayed at the Roosevelt for more than a month at a time. The location is dead center for tourism. But the washroom in the hotel room is bad. We had a group of 5 people reserved. The room had 2 towels. The shower had as much pressure as a crapped out old water fountain. Thank god the woman did not condition their hair, or we would still be there. This hotel caters to a younger crowd but my husband and I enjoyed our stay none the less. This hotel is quite beautiful and close to many attractions. The food and drinks were wonderful but pricey, so be prepared. Staff is very nice and will work to make sure you are comfortable.

Although the Hollywood Roosevelt had a prime location on Hollywood Boulevard, the room I stayed in was not what I expected for such an iconic establishment. I read that the hotel had recently undergone a huge renovation and while the common areas of the hotel were beautiful, it was obvious that the renovation did not make it to my floor or room. Both […] were dark and dingy and the room itself reminded me of a hostel I stayed in in NYC once, except that room did not come with a mini-bar stocked with full sized bottles of liquor and didn't have a picture of a seeming heroine addict looming over the bed. The carpet was buckled, worn and stained and the furniture was in pretty shabby condition. The chair at the desk (and I am using these terms loosely) was so hard and uncomfortable that I had to stack pillows on it in order to sit and work. The bathroom was nice but could have been cleaner. I got a very good deal on my room AND they upgraded it when I was there! Everything was great. The only thing I have to complain about is the $150 charge they hold for each night of your stay for incidentals which nowhere was stated when I booked my stay.

I loved staying at the Roosevelt hotel. They upgraded me to a poolside cabana room and it was a very cool and spacious room. The Tropicana pool bar was fun and relaxing to lay on their comfy lounge beds overlooking the pool. I didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed the stay. Perfect location for Hollywood and visits to local fun places. Also learned a bit of history while we were there. The original Oscars were held in that hotel for instance. Only unpleasant detail was that our room was on the 3rd floor and the "view" was of the roof with it's motors and structures!

I went there on a Tuesday to have a relaxing day for my sisters bday, we found parking in a nearby residential area so saved ourselves the 30 dollar valet expense. There is a parking structure right next door that charges 20 bucks for self parking. We checked in at around 1pm and our room wasnt ready, right away they upgraded us to a bigger room we […] just had to wait an hour which we didnt mind because we hung out by the pool the whole time. The room was decent, it was very roomy except for the bathroom but then again you have to remember this hotel is very old. We walked everywhere during the day, we made it to Cabo Wabo happy hour and then Cabo Cantina happy hour and Mel's Drive in for dinner. We did not use the car once until it was time to go home. The hotel was very chill and staff was very friendly, over all we're planning on doing this once a month. Will definitely return. My only con is that they do not have a jacuzzi and they're pool is pretty deep (due to the hotels age). 더 보기

We enjoyed everything about the Roosevelt - the staff was so helpful and very attentive. The hotel is right on Hollywood Blvd so there was plenty of things to do. We will be staying there again. It was great!

The hotel is located in an ideal location for tourists who want to do sightseeing. Everything is just a stone throw's away! We rented a King Superior bedroom. The room was very small and compact. The basic comforts of the room were not matching with the price and the hype of the hotel. The bathroom was small and just adequate.

The hotel stay was amazing! The rooms were contemporary with alot of space. The pool area was amazing and the in hotel entertainment had plenty a club. The club is located in the heart of Hollywood and directly across from the Red and Blue lines. Definitely worth the stay.

Our room was clean and nice. It was a little noisy in the mornings but we went on a busy weekend with the LA marathon and st Patrick's day. The pool was gorgeous and we loved all the seating areas. The restaurants were just okay, for the money Id rather go somewhere else.
